Maybe it was her old life sneaking back in now that she had returned from the wilderness, she thought it was a good topic for conversation, but maybe things had changed. She would just have to continue to update her perspective on things.
"Ah, well if that's how business is conducted, then so be it."there was a hint of, 'that's not the way things used to be' in her tone, but she did her best to cover it with a small grin at the corners of her thin elven lips.
"I have a little money, but not much. Does everyone have enough to pay for themselves?"Askes chantell, counting his coins and twiddling them between his fingers. He mutters something you can't hear, flips a coin, and looks at which side landed face up. He doesn't show anyone though. He smiles, puts the coin away, and gives Artemis a scratch between the ears.

Hey! Kinda all or nothing on the forums lately, please excuse me for being late to most parties.
Niesella reached down and felt the pouch where she kept her coinage, it was light, but should be enough for a night or two of meals and a room to sleep in. She didn't need much, she'd be just as happy sleeping in the stable. "I can get by for a short time" she replied.
OOC: Just a clarification, did we not see the coin flip, or just how it landed?
Chantell can tell that Artemis is aching to gallop, instead of trotting at walking speed like this. So he jumps of her, pushes her forwards and says "Off you go girl, stretch your legs. I'll see you in a minute." (I guess the DM decides what she does) Then Chantell turns to everyone else. "Artemis isn't great in places with lots of people, so I might have to stay wherever she sleeps tonight." He turns to Telurion. "That's a nice sword you've got there."

"Thank you" - the warrior removes the sword from the scabbard to take a look at its gleam - "It was a gift, and it has served me well so far, even if not things are solved with a blade in hand" - he smiled.
Niesella nodded, "I would be just as well in the stable as an inn room myself, seems Artemis and I have that in common."she then pulled out a coin and flipped it the way Chantell did, "When you did this you seemed enjoy the result, may I ask why?"
"I was pleased with the result." Replies chantell. "I asked it for tails and it gave me tails. I'm not a big believer in superstition or reading any kind of signs, but I'll take all the luck I can get." He chuckles as he says this.
"That makes two of us good with sleeping in a stable then. I often find hay comfier than a bed, as I've slept on it many more times."
You cantinue the your way to the settlement and you realize you might have misjudged the time a bit. As night falls you still have about 30 minutes of travel time.
You hear tha calls of owls and some rustling in the leaves on the ground as mice scurry from hole to hole or when a hedgehog wanders to his unknown destination.
When you walk for another 25 minutes you begin to see the first structures of Parastead. Many lights are still lit but you do not see one person in the streat or outside their home.
"There's probably some sort of curfew," yawns Chantell. It's been a rather long day, and Artemis has been off running in the woods for most of it, so he hasn't done much riding. She's only just returned. "Let's have a quick look for somewhere to stay, and if we can't find one then we can sleep under the stars."

Chantell see's the town, and it reminds him of how much he hates civilisation."On second thoughts, I won't be joining you." He says with a sigh. He whips Artemis's reigns and shouts, "Goodbye, friends!" And he races of into the woods, dodging trees and running his Lance through the leaves above him. He seems to throw something over his shoulder, and Niesella, in front of you lands the coin Chantell flipped. Then the man and his horse are gone, never to be seen again.
Goodbye for now, I hope we meet again

"I think I can manage also" - Telurion feels his own half-empty coin pouch - "But it may be time to find occupation, and refill our pouches"
"Artemis will be ok with sleeping in a stable, right?" - he adds to Chantell.
"Thank you" - the warrior removes the sword from the scabbard to take a look at its gleam - "It was a gift, and it has served me well so far, even if not things are solved with a blade in hand" - he smiled.
"Artemis will be fine sleeping in a stable that's quite remote, but she won't like a noisy one. We will have to see what there is when we get there."

"I don't mind sleeping in a stable, but I prefer a bed if I am given a choice" - Telurion added.
"I'm going to sleep in a stable with Artemis. You two are welcome to join me, or you can get rooms instead."

"Hopefully the Stable master is still up and about" Niesella said looking at the mostly sleepy looking down.

[ooc]Is there something we can roll to remember if we know any particular details about Parastead?[/ooc]
OOC: Chantell wouldn't know anything about Parastead, so he wouldn't roll.

Niesella picked up the coin and looked at it. "What a strange man..." she gave the coin a flip and it landed on tails.
