Ok with the 2 nat 20s 2 17s and a 10 subtract the rolls the other LTs made. 94% of the army is ready to leave.
The LT raises his hand and his sword is recalled to him.
Let me touch the amulet. I have a connection to it I'll take my people and go. You can kill the rest. The fools. Keep and eye on Garmuk he was a Syndicate member you know they all where. I'm sure he is using you.
If you let him he will touch h the amulet and he will disappear along with the majority of the Army. Only 50 rank and file remains with the other LT.
New order: Aino, Casey, Storm, Army, Lt2
You all can make 1 action before we get started. Aino your wall will be dispelled by an unknown magic user. (Just go with it for the sake of the set up)
The arena has reduced to its normal size. The gaggle of fighters stands before and at the far end is the LT2 commanding them. You know that to end this you will need to kill them all. But they are weak and you have a deathslinger, vengeance personified and the band mate of a god on your side. The blood will spill today.
casey grants Storm a Bardic inspiration (bonus action).
Looking at the crowd on the far end of the field- she says “Die, you fools” And a blast of psychic energy hits the most she can fit in a 20’ radius blast- (including the leader if she can reach him (140’ range total, plus up to 50’ if she advances) She casts Synaptic Static for 24 damage (DC21 for half). All who fail save have muddled thoughts and have to subtract 1d6 from rolls for 1 minute.
OOC: You can say some unknown spell-caster casts Disintegrate, a 6th level Wizard/Sorcerer spell that can destroy a Wall of Force.
Can we retcon an extra round to heal? Storm might not have time to use Lay on Hands during the fight since it costs an Action, but while we were all talking he would have had plenty of time to heal himself back to max (Aino and Casey don't need it as they are at max and still have Temp HP, looks like).
And Storm and Aino could restart their Bless spell and bladesong respectively since those would have run out. Actually the bladesong doesn't matter. Aino can just do that as a bonus action on her one action.
Aino sighs exasperatedly. She begins her 2nd bladesong with her Bonus Action.
She moves forward 35' in the air with her Broom of Flying with 15' of movement to spare.
She casts Hypnotic Pattern in 30' cube (6 x 6 x 6 squares) at the survivors from Casey'sSynaptic Static, 120' range including LT2.
DC 19 WIS Save. Fail and become incapacitated with no movement, actions, bonus actions and no further saving throws for 10 rounds. Only snap out of it if they take damage or another enemy using their action (can't also attack that round) shakes them awake (only 1 at a time).
Aino then flies upward 15' so as to avoid any potential area of effect action from Storm.
"If possible, attack the un-hypnotized first, and we can mop up the hypnotized ones later."
(Remember those that failed save from Casey spell have a 1d6 penalty on saves vs hypnosis)
Good call - I wish, but I don't think that's quite true. Synaptic Static, on failed save, causes the target to subtract 1d6 from "attack rolls and ability checks, as well as... Constitution saving throws to maintain concentration." So I don't think it affects general saving throws.
(I know because Aino has it too and it's one of her favorite spells, but she's saving her last 5th level slot in case something unexpected happens).
OOC: Storm re-cast Bless and healed for 15 using lay on hands, I believe you said it was cool to do this during the talking. Also want to clarify how many enemies are still up
Sounds good - Aino only targets LT2 with Hypnotic Pattern on her previous turn.
Next, on the enemies' turn, Thumbtack uses the Ring of Spell Storing she has in her talons to cast Silvery Barbs as a reaction on the arrow that hits Aino, forcing a re-roll of that attack and giving Aino advantage on her next attack.
Just for fun, in case the arrow still hits after the re-roll, DC 10 CON Save to maintain concentration on Hypnotic Pattern: 1d20+16 + Bless + 5 from Storm's Aura = 33 + 3 + 5 = 41
Now finally Aino's turn! She sends telepathically through Rary's Telepathic Bond: Leave the hypnotized LT for last and finish off the others.
Attack 1: (Green Flame Blade with advantage on her first attack due to Thumbtack'sSilvery Barbs above, best of 3d20s due to Elven Accuracy feat) To hit: 30 + 2 = 32 Rapier, +3 damage: 15 magical piercing Green Flame Blade direct damage (2d8): 9 fire Green Flame Blade secondary damage to adjacent target (2d8+5): 10 + 5 = 15
Casey yells “Yer all sure you want to die for this loser? Jus look at em- He’s in LaLa land right now.”
She shoots three bolts of black eldritch energy-at the non hypnotized mooks - on one or more if one goes down. 18 (with advantage from owl), 29, and natrial 20 to hit plus bless, assume hit)
23 , 12, 9 damage-plus everyone hit is knocked back 10’.
(total 44 HP damage) She soars around the arena getting the crowd excited…

Thumbtack flies by and flaps her wings to distract and help against Casey's next target, granting her advantage on her first attack roll.
Thumbtack catches the arrow. (Rolled a 19 on the reroll)
You charge 1 member running him through into another setting them both on fire. As they fail around 3 of there friends run over to put them out. 2 catch and burn while you stab the 3rd as he is tring to put out his friends. All 5 die.

Lol the LT super fails with an unmod 3. You also fry 16 of the soldiers that where around him. 34 remain.

Sure no issues with that.

The only surviver was the LT do you still want to take that action. You can either hit the LT or 5 soldiers. Assuming your going for the LT.
He rolled a 15 his eyes glaze over like a 2 year old watching TV and is obvious to the world.
Storm is up
OOC: Storm re-cast Bless and healed for 15 using lay on hands, I believe you said it was cool to do this during the talking. Also want to clarify how many enemies are still up
(Oh thanks Tybard. I’ve learned so much from your information)
34 plus LT. The soldiers are spread out in front of the party then a gape where Casey fried a bunch of them before the LT
Storm moves forward to position himself better, then raises his sword and unleashes a wave of energy. "You chose your fate!"
Move Action: Moves up to 30 feet to hit as many as he can with his attack
Action: 60 foot cone of radiant energy for 47 damage, DC 18 dex save for half
You move forward and meet the front line releasing the energy. Hitting 17 dusting them all.
The crowd goes wild again enjoying the "show"
10 soldiers shoot arrows at Aino the other 7 attack storm. None can reach Casey at the moment.
1 arrow hits Aino for 20 damage
All of the wimpy weapons bounce off storm.
LT is watching TV.
Top of the order. Aino is up
Sounds good - Aino only targets LT2 with Hypnotic Pattern on her previous turn.

Aino attacks the SMs nearest the LT with her Rapier, +3 and Green Flame Blade.
Attack 1: (Green Flame Blade with advantage on her first attack due to Thumbtack's Silvery Barbs above, best of 3d20s due to Elven Accuracy feat)
To hit: 30 + 2 = 32
Rapier, +3 damage: 15 magical piercing
Green Flame Blade direct damage (2d8): 9 fire
Green Flame Blade secondary damage to adjacent target (2d8+5): 10 + 5 = 15
Attack 2: (straight roll, Rapier, +3 only)
To hit: 29 + 3 = 32
Damage: 13
Total Damage: 52 (28 magical piercing and 24 fire).
Thumbtack flies by and flaps her wings to distract and help against Casey's next target, granting her advantage on her first attack roll.
