OOC: Is Kileprat still within 10 ft of Storm, if so reminder to add +4 to the roll and the 1d4 from Bless as well. And since we are only waiting on that roll I will have Storm take his turn now, this is contingent upon Kileprat passing her saving throw, if she fails and Storm visibly sees something happen his turn might change to helping Kileprat.
Storm will keep an eye on Kileprat as she engages with Death and enters the aura. But Storm's focus comes back to the skeletons in front of him as he slashes out.
Attack 1: 19 to hit, 13 damage
Attack 2: 28 to hit, 8 damage
Potential Move Action: Are any skeletons still alive next to Storm? If so then no move, if all are down then he moves to be next to Kileprat and Death.
“I can’t see if killin death is the way forward ‘ere. Is there sometin we needs to be figurin out to end this? I’ll see about gettin the last o’ these bones first anyhow.” Casey says.
she transfers her hex to the last skeleton, and shoots it with two [/spell]eldritch blast[/spell]
27 and 20 To hit
totals of 5 plus 6 damage (11 total) in roller. (Bad damage rolls!). She stays safely in the back line but inside Storm’s radius.
Aino's Turn: Thumbtack flies by to help against Death. Aino glides towards Death and the last remaining skeleton, attacking Death with her Rapier, +1 and Spirit Shroud, the first with Green Flame Blade with advantage from her owl's help. Fire arcing to the skeleton from Green Flame Blade.
Note that Green Flame Blade does 1d8 fire damage to the primary target and also 1d8+5 fire damage arcing to an adjacent enemy.
Attack 1: targeting Death (advantage from help from Thumbtack, 3 d20s due to Elven Accuracy) To Hit: 25 + 1 from Bless = 26 Rapier, +1: 12magical piercing damage Spirit Shroud: 6radiant damage Green Flame Blade to primary target: 8 (max) fire damage Green Flame Bladeto adjacent enemy (skeleton): 1d8+5 = 12fire damage Total damage to Death if it all counts: 26 Total damage to last remaining skeleton: 12 (fire arcs to it, no saving throw allowed) Full total from first attack: 38
Attack 2: targeting Death (straight roll) To Hit: 16 + 4 from Bless = 20 Rapier, +1: 10magical piercing damage Spirit Shroud: 4 radiant damage Full total from second attack (targeting Death): 14
So in summary if both attacks hit, 40 damage to death (magical piercing, radiant and fire) plus 12 more fire damage to final skeleton. Overall total: 52 damage.
Aino CON Save for entering darkness: 23 + 4 from Aura of Protection + 3 from Bless = 30 Thumbtack CON Save for entering darkness if needed: 18 + 4 from Aura of Protection = 22
Spirit Shroud secondary effects: 1. Any enemy hit by Aino's attacks while concentrating on Spirit Shroud cannot regain hit points 2. Enemies within 10' of her have their speed reduced by 10'
IF she has time left over between her remaining bonus action, free action and 40' movement, Aino tries to understand what is going on with Death and how they might be defeated? Did they appear weaker after being "killed" the first time? Did summoning the skeletons take something out of them?
So Death is in the center of the 15ft shroud and the skeleton is at the edge so green flame blade can't hit the last skeleton. Do you still want to Target death?
So Death is I. The center of the 15ft shroud and the skeleton is at the edge so green flame blade can't hit the last skeleton. Do you still want to Target death?
Got it. Ok, that changes things. The skeleton had already been wounded by Casey, so Aino was counting on the secondary fire arc to finish it off.
But if it is not within 5', then Aino switches the order of the attacks, doing the regular one first against the skeleton followed by Booming Blade against Death. Can still use most of the same rolls, just no arcing fire damage and the primary cantrip damage is thunder instead of fire.
Attack 1 (taking rolls from Attack 2 above) on skeleton using just her Rapier, +1 and Spirit Shroud: To hit: 20 Damage: 14 total (10 magical piercing, 4 radiant from Spirit Shroud)
Ok you kill the last skeleton. And the Booming Blade hits Death causing the hooded figure to tumble and crumple to the ground. The black fog around the spot he was at disappears. (Good thing yall passed all the con saves would gave been bad lol)
You hear a chant start up again.
"What is dead can never Die WHAT IS DEAD CAN NEVER DIE"
About 30 ft from here he went down. Death raises from the ground.
Death is up. He raises his hand. "Raise and join me my pets. "FFFFEEEEEEDDDDDD"
2 monsters undead creatures climb out of the ground. One on either side of Kileprat and Storm 15 feet away. They are the biggest lizards you have ever seen.
(Juat to describe where everyone is as I am tracking. Storm and Kileprat are In the center. 30ft from them up is Death. 15 ft left and right is the lizards. 15 ft down is Aino and Casey, a I tracking everone where you think you are)
As for the investigation check. Since your not using an action I'll give you a little but not what a 28 would normally give. You reason from what you have seen that death seems stronger when he has minons on the feild, you are not sure how or in what way.
(OOC: Kileprat attacked death before all skellies were dead just hoping to see what would happen, wasn't sure if he was stronger with or without the minions, nice to know.)
Kileprat hears Aino say we should attack the monsters first and charges to the closest lizard (the one on the left I assume).
"Here lizard, lizard, lizard" (quote from an old Godzilla movie) "Storm, lets kill this one first!" (Wanting him to go with me to keep me in the circle)
she swings three times with Last Quip (she is still in a frenzy until her rage ends, about 10 turns)
Storm moves up to be side by side with Kileprat and swings out at the undead monster, as he does so, he call forth a prayer and his blade ignites with radiant energy.
As you move Into the aura you feel like your life force is being sucked away. Please roll a con save.
Both attacks hit.
Death seems un phased

Ya Kileprat is right at 10 ft. You destroy one more skeleton.
There is 1 skeleton left.
That lone skeleton will attack storm. 19 to hit. Miss

To hit: 30
Damage: 26 total (12 magical piercing, 6 radiant from Spirit Shroud and 8 thunder from Booming Blade)
So total damage comes down to 14 + 26 = 40.
With Booming Blade, if Death uses movement before the end of Aino's next turn, they would take an additional 2d8 thunder damage.
