He grabs the beast and attempts to dislodge it.
If he is successful, he will draw his other scimitar and prepare to attack.

Nemean and Nimble grab the flapping stirges and dislodge them from their bodies into the path of Tochi, who swats one dead with his staff, twisting around the fray to snatch the other out of the air, rending it apart with his talons. Meanwhile, another stirge lodges itself into Nemean's back, dealing 5 piercing damage. Two more swarm around Tochi, but are unable to find a path past the monk's quick defenses.

Nemean has a fierce glint in his eye as he watches his opponents swarming around him. As he feels the stirge latch onto his back, he twitches and bursts into action.
He charges forward at the cluster of stirges near Tochi, and uses both of his scimitars to tear the creature apart. He tries to position himself so that he is in front of Tochi, attacking the two creates he is engaged with, and with his back and the stirge on him facing Tochi.
"Thank you for your assistance, friend" Tochi Says, mit-attack, to Nemean. With Nemean having dealt with one stirge, Tochi will focus on the other one engaged with him, hitting it with both his staff and his claw.

The air is filled with the sound of dying stirges. Nemean runs to Tochi, slicing through one of the creatures while the aarakocra demolishes the other with his staff, rending a third apart, which dies with its beak still plunged into Nemean's back. Roland rips the stirge out of his body, but the pest plunges right back into his neck, dealing 7 piercing damage. Sildar runs to another stirge, hacking its wing off, then slicing it in half once it falls to the ground, shouting, "Someone get this damn thing off of me!" as the creature in his leg drains him of 6 health.
Round 3 Order: Stirges Players <===== Sildar
Placement: Two stirges are remaining, attached to Roland and Sildar. A stirge can be dislodged from a creature with an action.
Tracking: Sildar has taken 13 damage. Roland has taken 13 damage. Nemean has taken 8 damage. Nimble has taken 7 damage.

"A Great Celestial of the past said, that one should first help oneself, so that one can then help others. Luckily, I am free to help you, my friend"Says Tochi, and tries to remove the Stirge from Roland.
OOC: Do I need to roll anything for this? Just in case, I will make an attack roll here: 15
Roland grabs the stirge from the back of Sildar's leg, Tochi in turn grabs the stirge from Roland's neck, and together they toss the flapping bat-like creatures into the charging Nemean, who slices them to pieces in a single motion. With the final two stirges dead, the room returns to the cavernous quiet, interrupted occasionally by the distant booming sound.
Room Description:
Many tunnels intersect at this natural, thirty-foot-high cavern, as three more tunnels continue to the north, south, and east. The walls are carved with simple reliefs showing dwarf and gnome miners hard at work. Below them, nearly two dozen skeletons in rusted scraps of armor are scattered across the cavern floor. Some are dwarf skeletons, while others are orc remains. Half a dozen large brass lanterns stand in niches or on ledges around the cavern, but none are lit.
OOC: Each character has received 50 XP for defeating the stirges.
Tochi looks around and says: "Well then, since this is the welcome we received, I assume that the depths will be even less welcoming. However, as Grumbar, the Lord of the Earth once said, a place that is guarded is a place that has value in it. Therefore, we should press on".
Then, he will try to find anything of value nearby, mostly focusing on any evidence of recent activity, so that he can find any traces of the Black Spider or his underlings.

"I don't like to leave things undone behind us. I noticed that there was a passage behind us to the left as we entered this area. I say we go back and investigate that tunnel. What do you think? Also Roland, you are looking a little the worse for wear. Come and I will help you." Nimble touches Roland and uses his paladin skills to heal him.
Nimble provides some healing for Roland as he searches the room again with Tochi. As before, they find nothing else of interest within this cavern.
Backtracking slightly, the side passage intersects with more tunnels, ending in one such mining tunnel that looks unfinished to the left. The tunnel continues ahead, splitting off after a very short distance to the left.
Nemean Stowe’s his scimitars with a flourish and takes his bow back out as he cautiously joins his companions and stalks through the caves, he heads down the tunnel that leads east, silently signaling for his companions to follow.
