Balthazar shrugged a bit."They've got artifacts from around the world, almost every civilization you can think of has probably got a relic in the manor. But recently I know they got a shipment from a distant island known to be home to the dreamkin."He gave a dry laugh."Could also be sabotage. Anyone who had enough of the STC could have found a way to curse something. Who knows. Hopefully you all will know soon enough."A half beat after,"And get my daughter back! She just started right before this nasty mist showed up! I haven't talked to her since!"Darnell half shouted back."It's that damned STC! I know they're the ones to blame for my daughter! Curses on all of them!"
Mr. Noh suddenly gets very quiet, and you can sense that in an effort to get you all to the manor as quickly possible, Darnell is spurring the horses even faster. "Slow down, you might miss the entrance in this fog,"says Mr. Noh. Darnell keeps whipping the horses. "We have to find Nissa,"he shouts, as the team picks up speed. He turns to you, reins shaking in his hands."Please. Promise you'll find her."Noh suddenly seizes as he spots something horrific directly on the path -- "Lord Jhaal! In the road! Watch out!"Darnell grips the reins and shifts the horses hard to the right, but the angle and the speed are at odds with one another sending the carriage rolling over itself!

Once again, Rai scoffs at Belko's comment. "I'll be making all sacrifices on my own accord." He looks into the fog once more, trying to see if there's anything actually out there, or if it really was a trick in the mist. Though he's once again tuned the conversation out in favor of his own contemplations, he's soon interrupted by the carriage going sideways.
The carriage has toppled over itself, crashing hard into the iron gates of a stately manor house immersed in fog but well lit from within. In the shadows you see Mr. Noh, nearly 30ft. away from you, his body tossed closer to the manor's front steps. Darnell, your driver, is pinned beneath the carriage. The fog that surrounds you seems to shift, forming in places into figures that bear a likeness to some of your worst fears. A large, spindly creature -- a spider walking on two legs and wearing a lab coat -- emerges from the fog, towering over Noh's body. Three more creatures emerge closer to the carriage.

Belko is rattled and bruised and lets out a scream somewhat reminiscent of a pre-schooler rather than a tall man of middle years as he sees the creatures advance.
Ferro takes an uncharacteristic tumble from the crash and quickly rolls back onto his feet, crouching low even as he curses the reckless driver under his breath. The fog is forming shapes all around, menacing. Ferro gulps, feeling that uncomfortable feeling of being crowded, and he pushes down a stab of fear.
“Maybe it’s just more tricks of the eyes,” he says, but he’s not sure. Best to be proactive here. He draws his blade.
Sleek and slim, his blade, his most precious possession. It slips silently from its scabbard and almost seems to drink in what light there is to be had. No sparkle, no glint, it’s the color of a moonless, starless night. Quick, deadly, and pure black, he calls it his Black Widow.
Ferro quickly assesses the situation before making a move.
However, to keep it moving faster hopefully, you may go ahead and post your actions/bonus actions/etc. and then I will resolve them in combat order. Below is a summary of what the terrors are currently doing. You may assume you are all within 30ft of each other and your chaperones from the carriage.
A quick glance around to survey the scene shows that the creatures are emerging from the surrounding fog. Some are directly heading toward Mr. Noh and attempting to drag him off towards the manor, and others are heading toward Darnell and surrounding him menacingly.
[due to evasion, Ferro only took 5 damage from the crash]
Ferro grimaces as sudden realization sinks in: it’s up to him to stop these monsters from dragging away Mr Noh and the driver. But that isn’t his style… Black Widow was meant to bite from the back, her victims preferably unaware, not head-on!
Ferro grits his teeth. “It is what it is.” He makes a decision. Quietly he moves towards the nearest terror, its attention apparently on Mr Noh. He tries his best to blend into the fog, just another shadow in the night.
[cunning action: hide in the fog?? as a bonus action]
Stealth to hide: 18
[ If the target is 15 feet away or less then Ferro can use supreme sneak to get advantage on the stealth check, which improves the roll to 31 ]
Then, noticed or not, Black Widow leaps out to slash at the mist monster.
25 to hit, 13 magical piercing damage
If he was able to be considered hidden then he can also add sneak attack damage, an additional 23 damage

Jumping out of the carriage right before it hits the ground, Rai is able to save himself by rolling into a patch of soft moss nearby. "That was close. Everybody alright? Oh." His eyes grow wide as they eventually settle on the scene before him. "Oh." Though he's a little slow, once he gets his bearings he rushes over the carriage and attempts to lift it enough for Darnell to crawl out from under it.
(I'm assuming this is Athletics? Let me know if there's anything else I should roll.)
As he's trying to lift the carriage, he whistles sharply. In response, the small metal dragon leaps out of his belt pouch, and the panels of copper and silver shift until the dragon is about the size of a large house cat. A glorious gold frill protrudes from its neck and a pair of red painted linen wings grow out of its back as it looks to Rai. "Iemiru! Attack one!" Rai commands, and it faces the nearest Terror, which is one of the three closing in on Rai, Darnell, and the carriage. It opens its mouth, and a small barrel moves out of it. It fires a small beam of red light directly at it.
To Hit: 12 Damage on a Hit: 5
(Rai's Turn: Action: Improvise/Interact with Object [lifting the carriage] BonusAction: Command Homunculus Servant
Iemiru's [Homunculus Servant] Turn: Action: Force Strike)
Ferro, as you step into the fog, almost immediately nightmarish visions flood your mind! Take 7 psychic damage. As you look out you see that one of the mist monsters is looking right at you still and it occurs to you with a sickening feeling that the fog does nothing to hide you from the creatures that come from the fog...but your attack does strike true!
Hypnoid begins morphing back into a demonic vision, turning towards Ruby with a menacing glare! (Ruby make a Wisdom Saving Throw)
Somnambulist drifts towards Ferro to lash out with wispy arms, but they are too slow for the nimble creature!
Night Terror A rushes at Ferro as well, slapping them with misty claws! (Take 7 psychic damage and make 2 separate Wisdom Saving Throws)
Night Terror B continues to drag Balthazar towards the manor! (3 rounds left)
Night Terror C encroaches on Rai and the carriage, and attacks Rai! (Take 7 psychic damage and make 2 separate Wisdom Saving Throws)
Ruby, your attacks hit...but the fire seems to disperse quickly against their foggy bodies and not do as much damage as you might have hoped!
Belko your swing just hits the Terror! But it only sneers at you before continuing to drag Balthazar's body off...
Rai you manage to pull and push the carriage a little bit, but Darnell doesn't move and seems to be unconscious. Unfortunately, the homunculus's attack streams wide of the creature.

(Sorry was being strange with that roll haha)
Ruby is going to cast scorching ray at the ones attempting to drag off Mr. Noh. All three beams at the same unless it dies.
Three fiery rays burst forth from Ruby’s hand.
