"It'd been nice to get the opinion from either of the two career thieves in our merry band (referring to Trust and Watl), but neither seem to be around. I guess the halfling would rather play cards with the Hammer, and I'm guessing that the Blade Thrower is... well... play with something else," Bones says with a stiff chuckle.
"I would say that their absence would lead to a lack of profits, but I get the feeling that they'll skim somewhere or something and be content."
Bones heads for the door saying, "All right - let's set up a shift to keep an eye on Sandrick this time. Don't leave him alone with our halfling infiltration expert - prisoners... and others... seem to die when their left alone with him. I'm going to go take a rest before heading out to case the Strattons. I've not slept in near 24 hours at this point. Find me if you need me - and feel free to question young Sandrick, perhaps convince him that ours is the better organization."
Pausing mid-stride, "Of course," Bones turns facing Sandrick's direction, "his only other option is death - a gruesome one at that - so it's not like he has much of a choice." Bones offers a sincere smile.
He takes a moment and casts pass without trace on himself - the shadows of the room seem to snake their way closer to him. He looks at the group gathered, stating, "These next few days should be fun and profitable. Good evening." Bones blinks out of existence.
On the final syllable spoken, Bones, with his holy symbol clutched in hand, channeled his goddess's divinity and invoked a "Cloak of Shadows."
He hurries out the door and down the corridor aware that the invisibility only lasts for about six or so seconds.
Trust remained back at the Feathered Flute and examines the pouch he found on Sandrick (post 1460), he watches silently as the group removes the old man. "I suppose they'll deal with him." If there is anything valuable in the pouch he will distribute it to the ladies and head back to the hideout.
Watl only sees Jianyu leave the room, hesitating for second and drawing a dart as he looks off in the completely opposite direction from where Watl is hidden. Watl can't help but spare a moment to look in the same direction wondering what the old monk could be looking at/for?!
Bones leaves the room undetected.
Trust finds nothing of significant interest among Sandrick's belongings and distributes what coin he had among the ladies.
(Who stands guard over Sandrick for the next couple of days until he is to meet with the Strattons is up to you, but please mention in a post if you leave the sewer hide-out, and how you do so.)
(Is anyone else left int he room besides me and sandrick? If so, Kaltent volunteers to take hte first watch.)
Kaltent, still disguised as one of the orcs, warns Sandrick not to make any attempts to escape, summons his pact weapon as a greatsword, then steps back into the shadows and vanishes from sight.
(Trust never followed the others, he stayed in 'The Feathered Flute' and Watl is hidden just outside (but nobody knows that), Jianyu has left, so has Bones but undetected... each other player can state their current locations when they make their posts, I believe that only leaves Jah'nun and Kaltent in the sewer hide-out?)
(oh, and Vosnin?... Zack is at the library researching necromancy)
Jianyu returns to his (yes, his) bell tower. From his perch he watches the coming's and going's of the city.
Even though feigning a threatening demeanor is pretty exhausting, Jianyu stops in occasionally to assist with guard duty, but he prefers to watch over the entrance above where the air is clean and there are people to watch moving about in the streets.
Jianyu encounters Bones near the sewer entrance when he emerges and bows his thanks on receiving his cut. He visits the shops (if any remain open) to look over their wares. He looks to purchase some of the simple tools of the shadow arts he once practiced so regularly.
They don't trust me, eh? That doesn't seem entirely fair. Warranted, sure, but not fair.
The halfling made his way back to the Broken Barrel and waited for the others to come around. He asked them what they got from Sandrick and what their plan of action was, despite already knowing.

After taking a full rest through the evening, Bones makes his way down the stairs of the Broken Barrel. If he sees any of the 'guild members' he'll tell her or him that he plans to impersonate Sandrick and walk into the Stratton's mansion meeting with the tabaxi and the young lord himself. He explains he'll need the next day or so talking to Sandrick, learning what he can of him and how he behaves. Bones will then head for the sewer, but asks for two favors from his compatriots: 1) a rotating guard with him in the sewer so that he can concentrate on creating the disguise, and 2) have someone spearhead a group to case the mansion, learn the guard patterns, entrances, exits, etc. and see if it'll be possible for one of their number to replace (forcibly or otherwise) one some of those on duty at the mansion.
He finishes saying, "The more information the better. Let's see what we can learn of their motives, who this tabaxi is, and who else supports this family. If we can disrupt them and loosen their grip, we can rise up ourselves through the vacuum created by the Stratton's loss."
Unless otherwise derailed, Bones will hit the markets getting items he thinks he'd need for the disguise, as well as food and general supplies to get through the next couple of days in the sewer room with Sandrick. Once he has everything he's looking for, he'll make his way down.
Bones treats Sandrick better than the night before (as in the good cop to yesterday's bad cop), as he seeks to learn more about Sandrick so that he can impersonate him. He'll treat him not as an equal, but may perhaps un-shackle him on occasion, and provide him with better provisions to get through the day. Essentially, as he's learning more about Sandrick for the purpose of impersonating him, he's also trying to turn him.
Kaltent remains with Sandrick until bones returns, at which point Kaltent reappears from the shadows and leaves the sewers to get a good rest himself. After resting, he heads towards the Strattons's to case the place.
Jianyu, Kaltent, and Trust search for a place to keep watch on the manor as preparations are made for the meeting.
Jianyu brings the group under a shroud of shadow magic as they come into the wealthy district, to help them avoid notice while they search. An abandoned building? A forested knoll? A seldom used guard tower maybe?
Bones: You are able to get to know Sandrick pretty well from the time you spend with him, at least as well as can be expected under the current circumstances. He is a simple and greedy man, not very intelligent but having enough sense to not get himself killed by risking his life unnecessarily. You feel confident you can pose as him and fool all but his family and closest friends, which he doesn't seem to have any of. Turning him to work for your interests doesn't appear to be a challenge.
Jianyu, Kaltent, and Trust: The best place you can find to keep a watch on the Stratton manor is several buildings away on the opposite side of the street. A little shop half the size of the buildings on either side of it that sells tea, coffee, and kambucha (a lightly fermented drink with the tangy taste of vinegar) offers 4 tables to sit and sample their wares, 2 tables are near the back on either side of a door and offer some privacy from those passing in the street, the other 2 tables are on either side of the entrance and each have their own window. The name above the shop is 'Maisley's Pleasant Beverages' and an elderly woman can be seen behind the counter managing the ingredients, presumably Maisley herself.
Watl: Back at the 'Broken Barrel' you see Wilma drinking an ale at the bar. She spots you enter and waves you over. "I have some news that might be interesting. Since we last met I decided to take a little initiative and managed to get a job as one of the Stratton's maids. I overheard part of a conversation where someone was ordering one of the Strattons to arrange for more spices to be delivered as quick as possible to take advantage of the shortage in the Marketplace. I can't stay long as I have to get back, my shift starts soon. Is there anything you want me to try while I'm on the inside?"
Jianyu thinks this cafe is probably an ideal location for a stakeout. He slips into the alley, and disappears, shifting instantly into the shadows of the larger buildings onto the roof.
Kaltent eyes any patrons in the cafe, then uses Disguise Self to take on a form that will blend in, then walks into the establishment and orders a kambucha, picking a table with a good view.
Jianyu: Indeed the larger buildings on either side provide an excellent hiding place for a stake-out as no matter what time of day it is there will always be a shadow on one side or the other of the cafe rooftop.
Kaltent: Looking in through the cafe windows before entering you notice every customer has very fine clothing, this must be an upscale business or perhaps it's location near the estates draws an elite clientele. The kambucha drink has an initial mild tang or tart of vinegar but it is quickly replaced by a sweet aftertaste and a warmth that spreads through you, a mild sense of calm and well-being overtakes you. You can't help thinking you could get used to the rich life.

95 gold sure did make a lot of noise on a person. He tries to bring that to a nice manageable sum. Buying a pair of Shortsword, a Potion of Healing, Ball Bearings (bag of 1,000), Caltrops (bag of 20), a Healer's Kit, a set of Manacles, a Mirror, steel, Oil (flask), Soap, and a Whetstone. All together its worth less than 80 gold pieces, but he pays a bit extra and keeps 10 coins, which could prove to be useful themselves.
