The bright faced human sits down and toasts to Silverstone's birthday in the name of Bahamut before taking a quick swig. He says "Hello, lads. My name is Alexander. and I am a acolyte in service to Bahamut." He pulls out a holy symbol and plops it on the table. I was wondering, what profession does this group here practice?

Leo looks at the symbol and says "Aye, bahamut. That be one of them 'deities' right?"
He nods. "Indeed, Bahamut, one of the gods. He is an extremely powerful being, the face of justice, law and goodness. However, we're getting off topic. I'm interested in your careers as of right now."
Norr quickly obliges, extending Prestidigitation so its flavor covers the second drink too. He leans in around the Tabaxi after the man turns to Leo and answers.
“Can do plenty, if you’re of a mind to negotiate, and understand great quality needs great quantity - where gold is concerned.”
Norr gestures at Leo’s intimidating coat and muscles. “You get what you pay for, and this table is a limited time only group of great renown.”
Norr taps at Leo’s foot under table, as if to hint ‘go along with it’.
After a stilted second’s pause longer, Norr bows his head briefly. “If Bahamut wills it. I may not do order, but I can get behind justice.”
The acolyte's eyes seem to be laughing as he takes another sip, as he says: "Well, this sure is an interesting one. And, it would appear, a caster.". He peers at the ring and asks "What might this ring be?"
The acolyte's eyes seem to be laughing as he takes another sip, as he says: "Well, this sure is an interesting one. And, it would appear, a caster.". He peers at the ring and asks "What might this ring be?"
Norr grins. “The least magical thing about me, I’m happy to say.”
“If you’ve a need for four skilled folk, you’ve found them, and it’s my friend’s here birthday. Speak your wish and it might be the case that we can grant it, if you can give him a hefty present to spend with us at the end of it.”
"AHHA!" exclaims a 3 foot gnome loudly. The gnome has bushy white hair spilling from underneath a conical red hat that has flopped over to one side . He is standing on a wooden crate pulled up to the bar. Across his armored chest are two bandoliers holding small stoppered deer horn vials. On his right arm is an odd looking gauntlet with what looks like some kind of lever positioned between two cylindrical tubes. The crate bears a branded mark of a flaming bottle encircled by the words Philbin Firewater Pointing at the group he continues loudly "See!? I if you were serving my families brand your patrons wouldn't have to magically enhance your swill to enjoy themselves. Alright...you drive a good negotiation sir. Best I can do is 50 gold fer the case. That less than 5 per bottle." The bartender shakes his head in denial and waves off the diminutive sales man. "Bah! Ya don't know the opportunity yer passin' up." Brix throws his hands in the air in frustration and turns to jump down from his perch. Slowly turning back towards the man, A sly look comes across his face Brix' face. "Look, I tell you what. I'll make you a deal. I'll offer up one bottle of Philbin Firewater as a test. If this fine group doesn't prefer my spirits to your unadulterated one then I'll give you the case and be on my way. Otherwise, you pay me 70 for the case and accept shipment of two more next month. At the price of 60gold." Before the bar keep can even answer, the diminutive figure hops down, pulls forth a bottle of clear liquid and heads towards the celebration. "Good day Gents! My name is Brix Philbin and I am a curator of fine libations. I have made a wager with our server over there and if you care too, I have an offer for you. Try my families distilled spirits and see if you like it better than the tasteless drink being served." He sets the bottle down on the table.
(Brix is overconfident about the quality. Anyone taking a sip finds an alcohol more suitable for burning in lamps than for consumption.)
Casrian has watched each new stranger with friendliness evolving into keen interest. He takes a sip of the Philbin Firewater, his face goes very still, and swallows decisively. He refuses another sip.
"Well met, all. Master Alexander, it is a bold thing to offer employment at a birthday party, impromptu as it is. But tell us what needs doing. Perhaps your god has favored you with good luck in leading you here."
Norr quickly obliges, extending Prestidigitation so its flavor covers the second drink too. He leans in around the Tabaxi after the man turns to Leo and answers.

He nods. "Indeed, Bahamut, one of the gods. He is an extremely powerful being, the face of justice, law and goodness. However, we're getting off topic. I'm interested in your careers as of right now."
Leo replies "I be an adventurer! I've only just started, though, so I haven't a party yet..." he looks around the table "...until now! Ha!"

Leo takes a sip "Aye... tastes... bloody... good" that last word he says putting on a fake smile that doesn't look that convincing.
"Very well then. A few days back, Bahamut told me that a great evil was brewing up in Cora City. He also mentioned something about some 'Circle of the Stone', although I haven't the faintest idea what or where that is. He recommended that I find some adventurers and recommended to me to recommend to them to start at this 'Circle of the Stone', if that makes any sense. I don't... exactly... know where this Circle thing is, but, ah, I'm sure you'll find that information somewhere. If you're interested in payment Bahamut told me there would be plenty treasure along the way that you guys would be free to keep. If you want more, I have a bit of coin that I may be able to spare."

(Still out of character) Would Leo know of this "Circle of the Stone"?
A bright faced human in simple robes approaches your table. Until just now, he appeared to be talking to a group of two travelers. He asks: "May I join this group too? I love a good drink."
Rosy cheeks and a big smile, “What sir may I call you I am Silverstone Dolmek Silverstone!” I’m feeling pretty good after a pint size whiskey.

"Aye, I've never heard of this 'circle of the stone' before, but if the rest of ya's here agree to this, then COUNT ME IN! (Laughs in Scottish)"
just to recap if needed, this guy invited you guys to help him fight some evil in Cora City, and he said that Bahamut recommended that they start at a place called the Circle of the Stone.
