A small, green-skinned goblin steps forward slowly and carefully, constantly reading the room around him. He has short, black hair styled in a spiky, messy fashion. The goblin has bright yellow eyes and a sharp, angular jawline, and is constantly covered in a mixture of grease and soot from their workshop. He's thin and wiry, with long, pointed ears and calloused hands.
He hesitates, unsure of how to respond. On the one hand, the prospect of defeating a fearsome beast and earning a generous reward and also learn it's arcane secrets (if it has any) or using it's body parts for tinkering is tempting. But on the other hand, he has seen firsthand the dangers that lurk in the wild, and he is not sure if you are ready to face such a formidable foe. Although that tall, majestic looking elf girl beside him gives him confidence.
"I...I will accept the task too" - says him finally with yet a bit of fright.

Prince Dueragn nodded as Sir Tristan told the story, his dwarven face was solemn and looked worried for the town. When Sir Tristan finished, without a moment's hesistation Prince Dueragn spoke in bold tones, "You have my axe" he then looked at the others gathered. A quiet goblin mechanic, a sneaky elf (though what elf wasn't), and the unknown heritage woman he'd arrived behind at the keep's gates. He hoped one of them possessed the skill to track the beast, the elf maybe?
"For those gathered who are not aware I am Prince Dueragn Battlemade, 4th son of King Kazak Battlemade, Keeper of the Axe of Fetteran, and sworn protector of the northern lands. If we are to do battle together against a fierce sounding beast with many heads, then I suggest we speak to our strengths, and our weaknesses. I will start, I am a trained warrior, I have fought in many battles and spent my entire life training to fight and protect those who fight with me. I shall have no issue charging this beast head on if it comes to that, and will fight fervently until my dying breath if necessary to slay the beast. What say you..."

Sir Tristan nods to each of you in turn and smiles, “I knew I would be able to rely on you all, I am glad you are the ones who answered my call.” “Your efforts will not go unrewarded. I desire to mount the beasts heads in my hall here. I am willing to pay you each 100 Gold Pieces for each head you bring back.” He goes and sits back down at his throne.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
100 gold pieces...each?
The white-haired elf lets out a nervous cough in surprise. She puts together her fingers and fidgets for a moment, seemingly lost in thought, then frowns and shakes her head to clear her thoughts.
"Ahem!"
As the noble returns to sit on his throne, the elf approaches the throne on one knee and with a dramatic gesture she sweeps one hand over her cloak, revealing a green formal looking dress of elven style that had its fair share of cuts and scratches. On top she wore an old leather jerkin that whose faded design showed that it was once more ornamental than practical.
"Irena...Stormflower at your service," she says with a bit of hesitation as she drops to one knee and fidgets with a ribbon haphazardly keeping her hair in place on the side of her head. Now that her cloak was off, everyone could see that Irena's white hair was short, unlike most elves that traditionally would grow out their hair as long as elegantly possible.
"My lord, I am not exactly...an elf from this corner of the woods. May we - humbly - ask for some of your guards to provide us a map...to mark out the places where the creature was spotted and driven off?"
OOC: I'd like to use my background here to ask for this map.
How would you rule on using it? Do you want a persuasion check? 14
“Unfortunately I’ve lost too many of my men to this beast and I must keep them here to protect my hold and my people. I cannot spare one. But, of corse” he motions to one of his servants who brings over a map “I will give you any and all information I can to help you.”
The map shows his keep and town located at the north end, his hold on a slight elevation with its back to small mountains and wilderness. The rest of the town descending to the south with the road continuing to the south and cutting through the forest valley. He indicates to an apple orchard just outside the gates, “here is where it attacked the last time. The lady of the orchard reported that all its apples are now gone, eaten by the monster.” He places his finger on a clearing further out southward, “here is the shepherd’s field where it began harassing my people. Devouring a few sheep at at time now all of their livestock are gone and the shepherds barely fled with their lives.” Finally, he shows you further down the road, “this is where my men and myself chased it off to. My men then tracked it a few hundred metres into the forest, west of the road, but they lost it there. Some of them reported that they lost sight of it, some say it vanished into thin air. They are weary and they may be delusional from their exhaustion and loss of their comrades. We simply know it attacks at night and is gone before dawn.”
Urzan listen what seems to be a ridiculous level of money for her, even for one head as her noble family is indeed a small one that 100 gold is not a choice to ignore in those troubled times, however, it this desperation she notice about Sir Tristan, she almost consider it a steal despite the need to grow the name of the noble family. "Sir Tristan, I respect your will to pay the worthyness of the quest but such money for this beast will only make you more poor, and if the peoples trust you as I do, I hope this All or nothing can be dangerous for your kingdom, you will need that money to rebuild the kingdom."
The daughter of the Baeldon family also watch the others adventurers as she suspect they aren't all is well-meaning as her, not that it be because of greed after all everyone need the pay, the face is does is a way to ask the adventurer to not be angry at her way to think and to not take her words as a reason to make their fair reward lesser.

The paladin did notice the weird look they give to her words but she have the impression that it mostly the result of watchful eyes themselves then what she said about the money, but since Sir Tristan refuse to let his offer go, Urzan simply accept to take what he would propose to the group. However, the fact that the pay is so heavy make her fill like the danger itself is, indeed, more then the description of the Sir gives, she would have ask for more informations but since she was about to work within a team, she better be in good term with them.
