"You two!" Raiden yells as he stays on the rooftop. "See anything inside there? Usually when a room is dark, they're preparing to make an ambush. Check your behind your backs and your blindspots especially!" Though... who on earth is this woman? When did she get here? Is she our friend or foe? He's also very particular about the woman that just assisted Tamachi and gives off a silent snarl as he keeps an eye on her before scouting for more dangers.

Tamashi nods to the woman for the assistance and searches the room.

Trey joins Tamashi as he searches, and rests a hand on his shoulder [Lay on Hands: +15HP healed to Tamashi] and asks his old friend "Are we hunting this fiend for real? Or only if... convenient? You tell me how committed we should be here... You were likely the target, after all."

The room appears to be for a wealthy, though probably not noble, person, and is fairly large.  There is one exit other than the one you came in through.  Even with darkvision, you can't see the assassin or be sure they're gone - the shinobi, in their black robes, would blend in too well with shadows and any dark-colored object.  Suddenly, you hear footsteps outside the other door!  What do you do?

Outside the house, the beautiful siren witnesses two shadar Kai drop down into the collapsed rubble below. Curiously, the Kitsune didn't jump down just yet and was scanning the outskirts, which prompted her to tease him a little before investigating what on earth is actually happening inside... Or whoever else is approaching.

"Oh! You not jumping down, fluffy-tail boy?" The siren teases, holding her arms behind her bare back and giving him a cute smile before searching the place. "I like your yellow coloured sword, cutie! What did you do to channel such power, hmm?"

Antlan, you're up! Normally travelers would buy inns in the Outer City, but you saw one here (it's about three buildings down from the buildings where all this other stuff happened, but you don't know that) in the Inner and booked a room on a whim.  They seemed suspicious that an outsider wanted a room, and you're fairly sure they charged extra, but it was worth it!  This bed is so comfortable - 

You are woken by the sound of someone swinging through the window into your room.  A lithe elf in a black gi appears to have vaulted through the opening and is moving towards the door on the other side of the room.  When they see you're awake, they freeze.  They silently raise a finger to their lips, their other hand going to a the hilt of a sword that juts out above their shoulder.

If you're allies to that guys we were chasing down... *breathes* ...My powers are none of your business right now. And what the hell did you just call me?!"

 Jorm's ears stand straight up as the elf sprang into his room. Jorm still under the blankets and sitting in bed looks the elf over and quietly says "What's all this? Do you need aid? No need for weapons here."

The person looks over their shoulder as if watching for pursuit, then lets go of the sword hilt and crosses the room quickly and silently as a shadow, no longer paying attention to you.

 Jorm watches and looks to the window and back at the elf..."Someone is chasing you, yes? Perhaps I can help you  and stop them in their pursuit...One moment while I go to the window" Jorm shuffles to the end of the bed and slips his feet into his well traveled shoes and walks to the window to look out for trouble

As soon as you start to sit up, the person attacks with the sword.  22 to hit, 4 piercing damage on ahit, and you must DC 15 CON or take 26 posion damage on a fail, or half as much on a success.

(That escalated quickly haha!)

Yep that works.  However, they're going to disengage as a bonus action, then rush out the door, which slams loudly.

Raiden, you hear a faint clatter, then a loud bang, and look over to see a harengon in a second-story room reeling back and clutching a wound in his side.

Jorm makes his way to the window and yells out to whoever was chasing the elf "The elf is here and ran down the stairs!" He moves towards the door and to the stairs and peeks out to see if the ninja is within his range

"I'll cut him off below, don't let him get away Tomashi" Trey says, and then dashes towards the window.

Having heard the assailant escaping and now more commotion in the building, Trey is going to try to cut off the assailant before he can escape. Instead of chasing him in the building itself, he's going to try to get back to the ground level as soon as possible. Using some combination of jumping through a window and his shadar kai ability to teleport up to 30ft to a destination he can see. (Ideally, not having to physically smash the window if he can see a good landing spot to teleport to from inside... but he's willing to)

Tomashi moves around to the door

They have not gone down the stairs, which become apparent as they burst out of a window on the other side of the building.  They're heading for the Outer City now.

Tomashi races around and after them

Raiden gasps from above as he witnesses a Harengon badly injured. "Hey! Are you ok down there? What happened?!" He yelled before fixing his gaze on Pearlin yet again and snarls even more. "HEY! LADY!" He yells aggressively towards the human-form siren. "There's someone in there that's injured! Get inside and help if you're on our side! Or are you just going to dawdle all day?!"

(Can Raiden spot the ninja dashing to the outer city? If not: 8)
