Giles heads south southeast, making for the edge of the brush line. He pulls out his crossbow as he moves and puts a bolt in, firing longer than his usual range, but aiming at one of the goblins. (with disadvantage).

The party advances, with Soren, Zefla and Giles fanning out and making ranged attacks, while Burr races forward and lets out a mighty war-cry.
Only Soren's attack lands, his arrow lodging in the flank of the nearest wolf. The canine yelps in pain and confusion as the goblin's look around for the source of the arrow.
Burr's shout draws all their attention. Some of the goblins hesitate and look to break ranks, until one among them raises his own voice in command. "Mak! Mak! Bak, baak baaka! Mak!" He points toward the approaching party, and several goblin archers rise out of the western shrubbery. They train their arrows on Burr, leading the pack. At this range, however, the shortbows are ineffective. The one arrow that actually reaches the target has lost momentum and clatters harmlessly off Burr’s armor. The goblins then drop in unison back into the bushes, seeming to vanish. [All hide successfully, Perception DCs 17, 20, and 25 necessary to spot them, respectively.]
The wounded wolf, still wild at heart and poorly trained, breaks from the fight and dashes back toward the creek, limping badly. The remaining goblins on the ground near the wagons, along with the remaining wolf, harass the wagoneers and pull one of their quarterstaffs away from them.
Sir Rowan catches up to Burr, a wide grin on his face. He is clearly a man who enjoys the thrill of combat. “That’s the spirit, lad,” he says in response to Burr’s roar. He provides one of his own. “For Daggerford!” he cries, raising his longsword high in front of him.
To the east, three more goblin archers pop up. One of them drops his bow and flees into the forest. The other two draw down on Sir Rowan. The range is still long, but one of them gets a bit of luck and catches Sir Rowan under the shoulder with his arm raised. It doesn’t seem to be a serious wound, but he grimaces and mutters, “Foul bugger…”. Despite the assault from the archers, he continues to run south toward the wagon. These two goblins hide as well. [Perception DCs 18, 24 necessary to spot them, respectively.]
The last three goblins, to the east side of the wagon, succeed in pulling one of the peasants down over the side and start beating on him mercilessly, cackling in their goblin language.

Zeflaand Burrrush south, with Burrapproaching the rear of the wagon. Sorenlets an arrow fly and one of the goblins beating on the peasant spins and falls dead to the ground. Gilesfollows up with a bolt into the same group of little green thugs. It also connects - though this goblin is not slain, he immediately drops his club and flees to the southeast toward the treeline.
Before anyone gets too excited about an easy win, the goblin archers pop back up from hiding. Having found their range, they fire at will, selecting targets across the field of battle. 2 archers in the western bushes target Burr, and both of their short, goose feather-fletched arrows catch him in the side, doing 7 and 8 damage. The injuries are enough to overcome Burrand he falls onto the road. [Burris unconscious and making death saves!]
The remaining western archer, and one of the eastern archers, target Sir Rowan, and likewise both of their arrows stick.
The last archer to the east targets Giles, his arrow also finding home, dealing 6 piercing damage.
Perfect in their accuracy this round, the goblin archers exchange high fives and again attempt to hide. The archers to the east seem less concerned with stealth at this point and are both visible.
The wolf Soren wounded last round continues its escape, disappearing into the forest. They then abandon their attacks on the peasants and the wagon, and combine their efforts trying to separate one of the oxen from its hitching. They hack at the ropes with their daggers but have little success. The wolf, meanwhile, turns toward the rear of the wagon. It charges Burr'slimp form and bites at his leg, shaking it viciously [And delivering 1 failed death save to Burr!].
Sir Rowan continues to dash south. Seeing Burrcollapse, he deviates from his path toward the east side of the wagon and comes to stand by Burr'sside. "Back, you curr!" he bellows at the wolf.

Sorenis a deadshot with the bow. He draws and fires at the goblins near the front of the wagon and another falls. Zeflais less precise with her shot and it clatters of the side of the wagon. Burrrises from defeat and closes on the goblin harassing Sir Rowan. He brings his mighty maul down on the surprised goblin, nearly obliterating its skull. It collapses with a dull thud.
The goblin archers continue their reign/rain of terror. The western archers target Burr(4 damage), Zefla(5 damage) and Soren(6 damage) and once again all of them hit their marks. Sorenespecially is shocked by this... he had some cover from the bushes, but by skill or dumb luck the goblin struck home regardless. They try to hide again, but they are growing bold and complacent, not moving from their fixed positions. By now you know where all of the archers are located on both sides of the road.
The wolf snarls and snaps, lunging at Burragain. It can't understand why he was up, then down, then up again. He once again sinks his canine teeth into Burr'sleg (5 damage). Burr has taken additional wounds but is still on his feet.
At the front of the wagon, two goblins continue to furiously cut at the hitchings, trying to free an oxen.
Sir Rowan places two hands on his longsword and raises it high. It glints for a moment in the sunlight and then he brings it down twice in a criss-cross attack on the wolf. Blood flies as both cuts connect, and with a sharp whimper, the wolf falls. "NOW, HAVE AT YOU, SPAWN OF DARKNESS!" he roars, as he charges the goblin archers to the west. He comes to stop between two of them... forcing them to choose between retreat or battling a sword wielding knight with only bows and arrows.
Giles' luck may have run out. Despite his best efforts to dodge, one of the goblin archers in the eastern bushes tracks him and lets an arrow fly (3damage). It is just enough to bring him to his knees as darkness takes him. [Gilesis now unconscious and making death saves!].
Sir Rowan is nearly brought low as well, as an arrow from the east sails across the road and takes him square in the back. He is still on his feet, but for the first time he looks like this battle is getting the best of him and he is losing a lot of blood.
