the 2 hooded men continued there conversation, suddenly sparks of light and sound of a harp starts to form on the other side. both grabbing there scimitars and gripping them tightly. one goes to wake up the 2 others that were sleeping and another walks up to the door, opens it all the way and steps towards the hall way. "whos there!?"
can everyone roll for initiative please whenever the group wants to engage in combat, either in this room or the previous. ( 1 D20 + DEX modifier )
Alistair steps forward to the curve of the wall so he can have a clear visual on the men rushing through the door. He holds up his left arm like he would like to stop someone, his right arm lay beside him with thumb and middle fingertips touching. A close watcher would see his eyes turn pupilless and black, from the middle of his left palm a ghostly skeleton arm rushes out and try to catch the throat of the first hooded man.
Zane lunges forward to attack the closest of the remaining hooded men, moving into the room if needed. Finding courage by thinking of the halflings in the village he once fought to protect, he lets out a soft battle cry under his breath, "For Doubletree!" He swings his longsword in a tight arc towards his opponent, shifting his shield upward to block any incoming attacks.
the hooded men were caught off guard by the sudden attack. Desmond quickly strikes the first hooded man with his rapier, dealing 10points of damage and weakening them. Alistar then cast chill touch, a spell that drains the life force from the target, instantly killing the first hooded man.
Draco, with their fearsome dragon heritage and wielding a great axe, charges towards the second hooded man, delivering a powerful blow that causes 13 points of damage, instantly killing the second hooded man. Zane, armed with a longsword, runs towards the third cultist and delivers a swift strike, causing 11 points of damage and leaving the 3rd hooded man with only 1 hit point remaining. the fourth hooded man surprised by the sudden attack. the scene is filled with the sound of clashing weapons, spells being casted and the cries of the dying hooded men. the room is small with a dinning table in the centre littered with wine and food stolen from there victims. you also see a wood elf druid tied up in one corner of the room and a trapped chest with a sign "DO NOT TOUCH" on the other.
Alistair points all his fingers to the remaining cultist and again shouts a series of elder words. Three white magic bolts in the shape of a dart appears in front of him, and flies toward cultist in high speed.
