"Brief" Backstory: Born into wealth, this Centaur Monk sought a deeper purpose and found it in the way of the Monk. After defending a group of Monks from bandits, he joined their order, training in both physical and mental discipline. Now, he travels the world, using his fists and wealth to aid the oppressed and bring justice. Regal in bearing and fearless in spirit, he strikes a balance between his privileged background and his devotion to his beliefs.
Appearance: Literally the top 2/3 of a black Elf with sandy blonde hair attached to where the head of a bronze horse should be. He wears a very tall fine coat on his person, and a backpack, basket, mace, etc on his horse part (I don't know what else to call it). His legs are muscular and agile, while his upper body is practically for looks. He radiates in wealth poorly spent.
Quick Player Note: This is my second real D&D Campaign, so I'm still pretty new. I love to roleplay, and I have been wanting to play a rather selfish, Charismatic character for a good while now, as long as that's okay with you. I'll try not to screw up the campaign with it.
Race: Tabaxi Class: Rogue Background: Tap (short for Tapdance of Raindrops) Brief Backstory: Tap has historically been a loner and a bit of a selfish person. He was always a big believer in "me first" and "five finger discount". This served him well, for a time, in the big bustling city of Baldur's Gate, where he could get away with something and then lay low until it blew over. But eventually his unlawful ways started to catch up to him. He had a couple of close calls, nearly landed himself in prison, and also nearly got himself beheaded. He escaped by the thinnest whisker of fate. Now he's on the road, leaving his past deeds in Baldur's Gate behind him. This solitary destinationless sojourn has given him a lot of time for introspection, and he's starting to see how his selfish ways may not have had the best results on his life. Normally he hates the rain, but today's showers seem to be washing away the old Tap. He's starting to feel like a fresh new person, a blank slate. He's ready to try something new! This is his mood when he comes across Liam's Hold and the Black Ford Adventuring Guild.
Backstory: Orion left home after having a fight with his parents. He hasn't been back since. A druid in the lands far from home travelled with him who was near Orion's village back to his sacred grove. Along the way Orion became interested in becoming a druid too. He was a quick learner and soon was sent to tame a grove for himself.
Born to serve a purpose not yet revealed to him, Adonis spent his younger years training in Julkoun. He never really had a knack for the whole “holy warrior” thing he was supposed to be- too scrawny to fit in the gleaming plate, too weak to lift the massive greatswords, and too careful with his words to even engage in fights. Adonis grew into a more pacifist mindset, setting out on his own to find out what he was really meant to do. The gods blessed him with power and oversaw his birth, though he isn’t quite sure why. He’s far from a hero.
His destined path has taken him through Liam’s Hold. Adonis is searching for his purpose. Though, he’s not even completely certain he has one.

Backstory: Born in the Darthian Forest just south of the Kilmar Moutains (the coldest part of the realm) and east of the Hemnor sea. Name: Valrieth "Val" Race: Harengon Class: Druid (probably Circle of Stars at Lvl 2) Background: Hermit (with cartographer's tools)
Brief Backstory:
Val's parents were born in the Feywild. They were both wanderers and "free spirits." They were very much in love and traveled together, never staying in one place for long, and eventually leaving the Feywild and hopping into Faerûn. Val's mother taught her about the different plants of the world and their uses. Her father taught her about the stars and constellations. He claimed that the gods sometimes wrote the fate of the world in the stars for those who could read them. Val loved her parents very much and learned a positive, optimistic outlook from them.
Val's parents moved often, always looking for novelty and new experiences. It didn't always matter where the road led as long as there was something new at the end of it! Seeing new places and meeting new people was an adventure for them. They were poor but not desperately so. The family sometimes camped away from the towns and villages in the wild. Her father would say things like, "Now, isn't *this* an adventure, Val? Not everyone has a willow tree for a neighbor!"
Unfortunately, that meant that Val had few friends her own age. She found it hard to talk to people who weren't her parents. When she did speak, other children often found the things that she said funny or just a bit strange. Val spent a lot of time playing by herself and developed her own solitary interests. She liked to watch the stars at night. She loved watching animals and learn the names of all of the different birds and insects. She always wondered what it would be like to fly! Since her family was always moving and going to new places, she started drawing her own little maps of each place that they lived.
As she got older, Val started to long for a connection to a place. Once, when making their home in a wild forest on the way to the next destination, Val met a druid who helped keep a sacred grove nearby. She started spending time with them, and when her parents moved on, she decided to stay and study with the druids to learn from them for a while. She was fascinated by people who were so attached to a specific grove, and they seemed to share her interest in the nature and the stars. She spent a few years studying and living with them: it was the longest she had ever lived in one place!
But eventually, her parents' wanderlust finally crept into her bones. Val longed for variety and for a different horizon in the morning. She felt that the gods were trying to tell her something, but she could not hear them when there were other people around. She spoke with the keepers of the grove, and they blessed her journey. She wandered alone into the wilderness and spent months living on her own. She studied the stars and listened for the gods in the wind and the water. She believes that they did eventually speak to her, but she has not spoken about the Revelation to anyone, yet.
Now, Val has returned from her hermitage. She seeks to rejoin the world and make a new group that she can travel with, just like she used to travel with her family. She still looks for signs, trying to follow the path that the gods have laid for her.
Val was born in Faerûn, but she has always longed to visit her parents' homeland in the Feywild.
Appearance:
Val is a small (~32 inches tall) harengon, but her ears stand up about 10" over the top of her head. Her head his a bit shorter and rounder than many harengon, making her look younger than her age. Her fur is a simple, speckled brown color with slightly lighter rings around her eyes. Her chest and the insides of her legs are a pale off-white. Val generally smells like herbs and flowers, and she often wears flowers in her fur or a wreath of clovers around her ears. Val tends to sit very still, not fidgeting or even turning her head. But when she moves, her movements are quick and nimble.
Val wears a simple, loose-fitting robe, which is patched in a couple of places and always stained with mud and grass, at least at the bottom hem. She generally does not wear shoes. Now that she's wandering and on her own, she wears leather armor and carries a staff and wooden shield.
Val has large, dark brown eyes, but when she's talking to someone, she often seems to be looking through them toward something in the distance. She listens more than she speaks, but when she speaks, her voice is soft and a little quiet. She speaks plainly and often says things that others would leave unspoken. She seems to assume that everyone shares her views and sees signs from the gods in the cloud or the stars or in the direction that a thrush flew across the road at the start of your journey.
Name: Caerbannog The Younger Race: Harengon Class: Ranger (plan to swarm keeper with mini rabbits) / Monk (Open hand Rabbit-Fu) Background: Far Traveler
Brief Backstory: Caerbannog was born in the The Cave of Caerbannog many moon ago, and his clan has a long history of defending this location from many enemy, including goblin raiders come to eat rabbit meat along with human knights. His great grandfather was a fearsome warrior knows to decapitate armored enemy with one slash from his mighty teeth using the martial art of Rabbit-Fu. Finally, alas, his grandfather was killed after slaying many human knights, the cowards retrieved some dastardly explosive device and blew him to pieces, unable to take him in hand to hand combat. Caerbannog has a special hatred of knights, along with goblins and their ilk, and has vowed vengeance upon them. Caerbannog breeds miniature rabbits in his spare time, and is also trying to master the secrets of Rabbit-Fu, long sacred martial art of his people.
Back story: He grew up in a small village, with cooking as his hobby. One day a dragon Wyrmling attacked the village. He stood up to it, and helped it calm down. The dragon ran away. he then saw the carnage that the Dragon caused and knew that he couldn't let such things happen again! He then looked at the flying Dragon and knew that even the most violent people can be calmed down and lead to peace. He then took to his oath, began his Paladin training, and when he felt ready, went to Liams Hold as the first stop of the travels he plans to make to spread the peace he seeks to make.
Appearance: A small, yet well-postured Kobold with a face that radiates pure innocents. He is around average Kobold Height. His eyes are an aqua blue. He wears the finest chain-mail armor, Greatsword, and shield! His attire screams Paladin. His shield is marked with the symbol of piece! (Whatever it is according to the DM. If no such thing exists, we can discuss what it will be instead.)

This recruitment came from a different recruitment thread that had gotten as far as several people talking about taking turns as DM. One for the intro & carnival, one each for each realm, and one for the climax. So everyone gets a chance to play.
If that sounds reasonable.
