‘Dont hurt the wolf he is no threat now.’ With that i turn my attention to Titus, i press my totem to his chest and chant ‘ remediumvulneribus‘ casting cure wounds 3 titus regaining this many hit points.
‘Thats better, would hate to lose you so soon in our adventure my friend’ now if you will excuse me im going to see if i can get this wolf to help us out.
I walk towards the wolf with some meat from my pack in hand and when i get close i throw it at his feet. ‘Good boy ripper’
"don't think I'll head to the light just yet gentlemen. " whilst speaking I'm retrieving my bow and knocking an arrow ready to return fire at the remaining gobby that shot me..
Anger flickers across my face as i turn to consider the elfs remarks before remembering that he was unconscious when the wolf was charmed. ‘That will not be necessary Titus, ripper here is no threat to us now, he is harmless to us while under my spell and therefore under my protection while he will not protect himself. If you wish the beast gone i will take him to the edge of the cave and release him. But i will not kill him. He is no warg afterall.’
The goblin squirms in Kargan's calloused hand, then his bladder gives way, the terror of the angry dwarf, and the readied arrow of Titus too much for it.
"Big man other side of bridge, that where big man is, please no kill me!. Not know where the dwarf is, boss had him sent to the castle."
The creature continues to squirm and snivel its eyes pleading for mercy.
Riper looks warily at the Titus and comes over to Kryinor its tail between its legs, not really sure if it will get the treat or a belt for its trouble.
I attempt to pat ripper on the head reassuring him that he is safe, getting another peice of meat out of my pack and feeding it to him. Trusting that the dwarf will get the information we require.
The goblin cowers into a small ball at Kargan's feet, his hands over his face trying shield himself from the intimidating dwarf.
"Northeast, northeast! King Groll's castle, castle C-c-c-ragmaw. t-t-tw-twenty miles from here in the deep w-w-w-wood!" He snivels more and begins to paw at Kargan, "please no kill, please please!"
Titus begins his search of the cave and its contents. The south and east wall have piles of materials, and provisions plundered from various trade caravans by the looks of it. They would probably fetch a good price or reward in Phandalin if they were returned, but a wagon of some sort would be needed, There is quite a lot of it, and it is bulky.
You also find a chest amongst some rudimentary possessions in what looks like Klargs sleeping area. The chest is unlocked and contains 600 copper pieces, 110 silver pieces, a jade statuette of a frog with small golden orbs for eyes. The frog looks like it will fit into a pocket easily enough. There are also two vials of thick pink liquid wrapped in some dirty cloth at the bottom of the chest.
Ripper begins to relax a little as Kryinor uses a soothing voice and pats him down whilst checking his condition. Ripper is in quite good health and is a very tough specimen of a wolf for sure, Standing a good foot higher than most wolves. He shows signs of obvious rough treatment, but is well feed and fit. Klarg may not have been the gentlest master but he did seem to care for the animal.
The western end of the cave has a steeply inclined shaft going to a lower level. The air blowing out of it smells strongly of wolf.
to Klarg:
"Kindly agree ta' DIE by noddin' yer head into this bag ye potato faced scabshyte !"

after ensuring Klarg is dead, I turn my attentions to the goblin.
"Welcome to PAIN TIME with a dwarf! Starring YOU! ye chimp faced gutless kidneywipe !"

I stand defensively.
"Handbags at 5 paces ladies!!"
I grab the goblin by the throat and put my axe to his nose.
"ye lard brained bairn stealin' jack shat, tell me where the dwarf and human ye captured yesterday are"
The goblin squirms in Kargan's calloused hand, then his bladder gives way, the terror of the angry dwarf, and the readied arrow of Titus too much for it.

"wow one takes a nap and everything changes! Nice Work!"

" we can't leave the green skinned devil behind us whee he can create mischief. put him to sleep".
I visably calm with Titus’s change of focus, just sitting with ripper trying to assess the animals condition.
Animal handling if needed : 18
