Joiner hops off the stool and heads to the backroom. Mr. Peepers will stay out of the room in the rafters hidden and surveying. 

Cork waits until everyone is seated or standing comfortably around the table.  “I’m curious as to what they have us do this time,” he says when fingering the key into the lock. “We only see this once, remember! We must pay attention to the details. Mycroft, we rely on you.” He turns the key unceremoniously and opens the little box. 

A female voice emerges from the box and states, “Greetings, operatives. The Golden Vault has learned that the egg of an eldritch horror has been mistaken for a historical object and is about to go on display at the Varkenbluff Museum of Natural History. The anthropologist Dr. Cassee Dannell tried to warn officials about this egg, known as the Murkmire Stone, but none believed her. We do, and we know that if this egg hatches, many will die—or worse. This quest, should you choose to undertake it, requires you to infiltrate the museum, steal the egg, and return it to Dr. Dannell, who will neutralize it. There’s no time to waste; the egg could hatch at any moment. Start by meeting with Dr. Dannell at the Sage Quill in Varkenbluff. Good luck, operatives.” 

Delia sits back and listens as the female voice speaks from the box.  Once done, she quietly takes the box and places it back in a pouch that she has before looking up at the others "Well, what do you think?" she asks the others "Shall we go find this Dr Dannell at the Sage Quill?" she asks before unfolding her legs and standing up "We best get moving, you heard her right?  Times a wasting"

Cork is quick to follow Delia to stand up and says, „If that egg hatches, the problem will be much bigger. I say we sure go and see that scientist and decide there what can be done about it. Or has anyone other suggestions?“

Joiner finishes the notes of what was said and tucks away his journal. With a willy look, Joiner responds, "Let's meet an Old God." 

"I don't think Dr Dannell is an Old god, but yes, I suggest we be on our way" Delia states back with a singular laugh, and then she heads over towards the door and opens it.

Cork waits that everyone leaves first, takes a good look around that they didn’t forget anything and joins up the the others on their way.

Mycroft finishes taking notes regarding their assignment, and puts away his little notebook into his suit. Before he says anything, however, he digs into his memory for any information related to this Dr. Cassee Dannell. If the anthropologist has had any dealings with his government, he would know it.

As they walk past the bar, Delia reaches into he coin purse and pulls out a singular gold coin "Barkeep!" she states and when he looks towards her, she tosses the gold piece over to him "Thank you for your generous hospitality" she tells him before heading out the door.

"Let's go see this Dr Dannell" she states to the others and then proceeds to lead them to the Sage Quill in Varkenbluff

"A living egg. Who would have thought that they ask us to retrieve one." Cork muses on their way. "But don't worry, we're not after one of yours," he says calming to a bird that had landed on his finger only a few moments ago.

"Let's go see this Dr Dannell"  "Indeed Ms. Delia. Unfortunately, I know nothing of this good old doctor, so we shall proceed with caution." Mycroft answers Delia as he grabs his umbrella and use it to help him get up, and follows the group to their assignment's destination.

“Nonsense” Delia replies “We are operatives and our handler gave us this intel, there is no reason for us not to trust him” she states as she continues to walk “The Golden Vault contacts us the same way every time, now quit questioning it and let’s get a move on to meet Dr Dannell”

"As you wish madam." Says Microft with a gentle smile and tipping his round top hat with a slight bow. "Please, ladies first." As always he walks slowly with a slight limp, and eventually he is the last one of the group.

Delia gives Microft a smile and then leads them to the Sage Quill in Varkenbluff to find Dr Dannell.
