"Oh, so we have one entry point near Slaanesh's temple and one near Azash's..." Khessa comments "Well, good to know. Now let's try the door Slaanesh's exalted came out... Maybe we'll find other interesting things".
You come into a room, that is 40 feet by 40 feet. The double doors you entered are located in the SE corner. There is an opening to a hallway in the center of the western wall. Inside, is a large bed, dressing area, desk with high back chair, a chest, and bookshelf.
Khessa's attention is immediately caught by possible written information... she examines the desk, in search of plans or clues, and the bookshelf, in search of pertinent lore or useful arcane knowledge.
Khessa's attention is immediately caught by possible written information... she examines the desk, in search of plans or clues, and the bookshelf, in search of pertinent lore or useful arcane knowledge.
On the bookshelf, mostly histories of the local area and the Western Kingdoms. You do find her spell book, and a Tome of Understanding; a Tome of Leadership and Influence; and a Tome of Clear Thought.
In the desk, parchment, inkwell, a few quills, wax for sealing messages, a signet for sealing.
Khessa opens her blue eyes in admiration when she realizes the magic of the three ponderous tomes. Reverently, she passes the Tome of Clear Thought to her mentor: "I believe I have found a reading that will be interesting for your next moments of relaxation, Master Akkron!"
Cradling the other two tomes (Tome of Understanding and Tome of Leadership and Influence) almost lovingly, the blonde arcane warrior shows them to her other adventure companions, asking: "Who among you can they be most useful to? Choose wisely, because such a treasure is undoubtedly rare, even for people like us!"
The tall adventure however indicates wax for sealing messages and the signet for sealinga Mal: "Do you want to keep them? You know, in case we happen to have to falsify messages from the enemy..."
Khessa finally tries to quickly scroll through the local history, getting help from Brother Maynard - who perhaps knows her better than her - and trying to get clues as to what this dungeon was originally .
After hearing the explanations of the books form Khessa, Mal says, "Well I don't really have a need for nay of the books, however I think the only one to do me any good would be the Tome of Leadership and Influence. Personally I think You Khessa and Akkron have the most need of these books. Now as for the wax and signet ring, that I can make some use of. Especially if there are nay reports with this stamp on them already so I can learn how the person "writes" and then maybe I can start sending some false information out."
After that Mal will look around the room to see if there are any hidden alcoves or rooms about the area.
“Keep it and put it to good use, then” Khessa smiles, passing the Tome of Leadership and Influence to Mal. In fact, it makes sense; for a person who is used to exploiting tricks, becoming more convincing in speaking (and possibly lying) can be useful.
She then offers the Tome of Understanding to Tyekanik: "Do you think you can benefit from this, my friend?"

"Oh, I will read it too..." Khessa smiles, glad of her mentor's appreciation "I'm pretty sure you'll keep this tome safe for me - just a hundred of years, and I'll borrow it ftom you! But at this moment, with the fate of the multiverse at stake, you are the better recipient of this precious knowledge, Master Akkron".
The blonde arcane warrior then opens the chest: "Let's see if we can find other interesing things".
She then offers the Tome of Understanding to Tyekanik: "Do you think you can benefit from this, my friend?"
"Understanding is always a helpful trait," Tyekanik says, "Though books take me quite a while to get through. I understand their worth... I have seen enough friends learn much from them. But until recently I tended to find them more useful for using as kindling for heating my dinner,"laughing deeply. "Most knowledge I find comes from stories and our elders. Anyway... where do next?"
"Just a moment... let's finish checking what's contained here..." Khessa replies, as she places the Tome of Understanding for future reading in her backpack and finishes examining the contents of the chest [[ OOC: @DM: There's anything interesting inside? ]]"After that, I think we'll go back to the big room from before and try the next door". [[ OOC: Which would be #3 ]]

In the chest, you find an Iron Horn of Valhalla), and a set of Red Dragon Scale Mail. Inside you also find a small chest with 200 (100gp) gems
"Thank you Khessa." Mal says as she places the book into her backpack.
Once done with the room she will lead the group back to the main room and then go and inspect door #3.

It opens into a barracks-like area. The hall is 30 feet long heading west, with three doors that are open on the left side, 1 door every 10 feet. At the ed of the hallway, it appears to have a "T" intersection going north and south. You hear no sound, movement or like anyone is in the area.
"I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that this was probably where our enemies slept," Akkron says. "I doubt there is anything particularly useful to us here; we can probably just take a quick look into each room to make sure that none of our foes have escaped us and then continue on our way."
Khessa offers the Iron Horn of Valhalla to Tyekanik - since it is not reading material, he might like it better than the tome... After all, it is cheerful to fight in good company - such as that of a band of berserkers - especially when the band of berserkers it's on your side. She offers the Red Dragon Scale Mail to anyone who wants it - if no one wants it, she keeps it in her bag of holdings to try to sell it and split the proceeds in the future.
The 200 (100gp) gems are promptly divided; there are six of us (also counting Brother Maynard and Sir Sparhawk) so that makes 33 each with a remainder of 2 - I would leave the 2 to Tyekanik as a (meager) consolation for not having received a tome.
The blonde arcane warrior, to Master Akkron's proposal, replies: "Yes, let's do as you said" and she begins to open doors, quickly checking if there are still surviving enemies or if the area has been 'cleared'.

You detect no traps or sounds. When you open it, it opens to the outdoors. You have found another entrance into the complex below.
Side note-will be out until Sunday evening

[OOC: Have a great weekend, see you on Sunday or Monday.]
"Works for me," Mal says and ventures back to the door Khessa mentions.
Mal will once more repeat the process of examining the doors.

Akkron nods.
"That sounds like a reasonable next step," he says.

You do not find anything concealed or hidden
Akkron gratefully... almost reverently... takes the tome of clear thought from Khessa.
"Many thanks, my friend... I know that this would have been nearly as useful to you as it will be to me."
