Ok, so everything in sight is dead. I can see the two on the map, are we aware of them as characters yet? If so then I'll move back beside Elila and in front of Kat and cast blade ward
Not gonna move. Stay near Droop. Will keep moonbeam up on the creatures. (I will keep it up even after the battle, seeing as it lasts a minute, just in case other creatures come forward after within a few seconds after the battle.).
Rindelk, Elila and Katerielle all hesitate as they face a tall silvery cylinder of light encompassing the twig creatures, who start to smoke. Seemingly distraught, the twig creatures leap out of the cylinder but by the time they exit they are charred with small fingers of flames slowly burning on what is left of their corpses.
The moonbeam remains as the party hesitantly look about for more threats until it fades and winks out.

The party moves south to a solid looking cottage. This small house appears to be in better condition than the ruined and dilapidated structures nearby. The doors are reinforced with heavy iron bands, and thick shutters protect the windows.
It takes a couple knocks at the door before you hear a muffled, "What the...?" and some scuffling about. Then louder and clearer from behind the closed door, "Who are you? What are your intentions?"
"if you are the druid known to Halia, we are friends come to talk. if you are not, well, as long as you do not provoke, we are not intent to harm you. as you seems bared against the nasty creatures, take comfort that a half dozen of those nasty little sticks are felled, we ask to speak openly, rather than through a door.."
The voice from inside can barely be heard saying, "Halia?", then more clearly, "One moment!" A few minutes later the door is unbarred from the inside and opens. A human male backs into the cottage, letting you enter. His skin has a non-human darkish brown tone and shimmers with a bark-like texture. Leek notices and recognizes a magical druid aura 10 feet all around him.
"What nonsense would send you here to talk? Did you not see my signs?"
The druid looks at Leek, "There are no shortage of lives to save nor evil creatures to get rid of. You could have waited in Halia's shop in the city of Neverwinter until I returned. Now I must be the one saving your lives in this dangerous place."
Your employer was kidnapped. You tracked his kidnappers to a cave full of goblins. There you found Sildar and other evidence that points to a place called "Cragmaw Keep", but no employer.
You continued on to Phandalin to complete your shipment and ask around for information about Cragmaw keep. You got caught up in the whole Redbrand gang thing. Once that was over with, Halia mentioned she knows a druid that is very familiar with the area. She ventured a guess that this druid would know where the keep is. The catch is the druid was travelling to the ruins of Thundertree. You all decided to travel there to find the druid and ask him about Cragmaw Keep.

Yes, Rindelk is aware through Klednir, and it's assumed he tells the rest of you.
The two twig creatures approach and both attack Kitryn...
Claw Attack: 5 Damage: 5
Claw Attack: 15 Damage: 3
... and both miss as Kitryn deftly avoids their claws.
Leek's moonbeam moves to engulf the two last twig creatures.
(Everyone but Leek have actions. Leek has movement and bonus left.)
counter Attack: 24 Damage: 10
Attack: 9 Damage: 3
bonus: 8
and wiff..wiff

What do you do next?

i knock on the door.
"anyone home"

"What nonsense would send you here to talk? Did you not see my signs?"
The signs were clear, but our business is of great import. We need information and were told you were the one to help us.
The druid shrugs with a 'what information' look to him. "What could be so pressing as to risk your lives coming here?"
"Saving the lives of others, and ridding our world of evil creatures," Leek responds.
The druid looks at Leek, "There are no shortage of lives to save nor evil creatures to get rid of. You could have waited in Halia's shop in the city of Neverwinter until I returned. Now I must be the one saving your lives in this dangerous place."
It seems as though we are the ones saving you. You can't do much saving hiding away in a house. But we waste time.
Rindelk speaks, "Help us with the information we seek and we will continue on our journey."
The druid look at you all, weary about your sanity and repeats himself, "What could be so pressing as to risk your lives coming here?"
OOC: I've been away for a while, why we here again? :)
OOC...
