Venet peaks around her rock with her lyre in hand, watching the spikes bloom outward among the bandits. She hums lightly, strumming her fingers across her lyre, different hued small orbs of light rush outward toward the bandits, outlining them. She flashes a smile towards Bloom.
Hopefully they only have to beat them up a little for the bandits to behave.
Shugo frowns at the bandit's response. Not eating for a weeks sounds downright awful, but that's no excuse for stealing. Though, for a group of thugs, they do seem to care about each other. Buuuut maybe that's normal? Eh, they can stay together in prison....though this group is called the "People's" Army...maybe there's a reason? Hmmm. That duke Elmars didn't seem like an entirely terrible person, but Shugo knows for a fact that a lot of nobles are masters of manipulation, acting, and brainwashing. Based on his speech, that bird guy is likely no exception. As a foreigner, the elf really hasn't paid a lot of attention to the goings on of other countries, but he knows enough about these things to realize that there is almost never a right and wrong side. One just may be a bit more desirable than the other, but that usually depends on where you rank in social status. "UUUUUUGGGH! Why am I thinking about this?!" Shugo yells mentally, then notes the pink vines crawling sprout up around the surprised enemy. Well that at least settles what action he should take. If they catch these folks, they can always talk to them a bit before they send them off.
Those vines don't look all that friendly to walk though, oh well. By their color he can tell who's work they were. That girl probably doesn't consider the fighting styles of others, and she likely thinks this was a fabulous idea. "If only I had a bow, then I could just shoot them all in their knees and be done with it." He sighs, then pulls out a few darts.
The small dart seems to appear out of nowhere as it flies towards the closest enemy. Shortly after releasing the weapon, the elf seems to re-materialize from the shadows as his invisibility wears off.
To hit: 24
Damage: 5
Despite being a bit out in the open, he decides not to dart behind the rock. He's already a bit away from the group, and the bandits will likely figure out that his attack did not come from the same direction of the stomping feet noises. So, he moves 15ft around the outskirts of the tangled vines, smiles and readies his next attack. Might as well keep confusing them if possible, with their attention on him it should give the others a bigger edge.
Alright... we close the gap slowly and stealthily and... *Hears Shugo imitate Elmar's voice and notices the 'bandits' cowering in fear* ...Or that is possible yeah. I mean making them drop their guard down would be useful if we need to subdue them without causing any deaths but- *Notices Bloom spiralling out of control and conjuring spikes* WHAT?! NO! DON'T JUST INJURE THEM HOWEVER YOU LIKE ARGH! Our goal is to interrogate them for info not go on a mass murder! Never mind then... Time for Plan B... (Plan A was just to confront them using nothing but verbal force before we reveal ourselves to those so called troops)
"Ugh! Tone it down a notch will ya?! We're not here to murder them as per usual!" I hiss silently to the two that drew first blood before I quickly scamper further down the right near the rock to narrow the flank distance as I unsheath my katana just in case. To be frank, I'm eyeing the orc guy there; He seems like the tough guy of the pack so if I hold him hostage in front of the others maybe it could give us a slight tactical advantage.

Oh dear, seeing everything that's happened (and realizing how slow to react he's been) Alexander finds himself at a loss. He doesn't have any ranged weapons... well he does have an axe, but he isn't too keen on letting that go. ...man this really wasn't going the way he'd hoped, but at least everyone has banded to gather in spite of not really sticking to any sort of plan. Planning together as a team will have to come later, and hopefully they'll get the hang of it before they decide to head to the ruins. For now, he's got to figure out how he's going to be useful here... Then, something else occurs to him... he does have another option that would allow him to get in close but avoid the vines--it's just not one he's particularly comfortable with. But, well, he's got to master it sometime so why not start now?
Letting out a breath, he pulls out his longsword and adjusts his hands on the hilt. Ugh, maybe it would have been a good investment to get a great sword, it would have improved his reach. Or maybe a pole arm... huh, if he masters flight then perhaps that would be something to look into. For now, he just needs to get in melee distance without getting tangled up in Bloom's vines.
"Alright!" he says to himself, embracing the celestial light that's always at the corners of his mind. His eyes light up in a brilliant white glow, and the air around him shimmers as two giant white wings burst from his back. He barely manages to keep a serious expression on his face, as the feeling of suddenly having wings always brings an awkward smile. This was his most recent manifestation of power, so using the wings was always... well he had yet to get used to them. Flying is fun though, when he actually manages to maneuver the way he intends to...
Then with one wingbeat he springs up into the air, fly's over his companions and whatever low opticals are in the way, heading towards Elvins.
(OOC: I'm not sure if he can reach anyone yet, even with flight taking him over the vines. So, I'll roll an attack for if he can reach Elvins, but if he can't then I'll have him READY his weapon in case someone tries to attack him. If the attack I roll goes unused, then I can keep the roll for the next round if you want.)
Bloom's eyes widen as she sees roots grab onto Venet, and she almost goes to attack whoever cast the spell. All of a sudden, her attention snaps to the many daggers that appear in the air, and she lets out a soft scream as they rip into her. Bloodied, Bloom's eyes turn a harsh red...and she eyes Veno with a glare that has within it a hidden promise. (Concentration check for spike growth is 17)
"You ruined my puretty duress!", she screams in anger.
A pink whip of thorns lashes out from the cherry blossom staff and wraps around the bandit's neck, embedding itself and drawing blood, before dragging the bandit across the spike growth. The spikes rip him apart as well, embedding themselves in her as the whip forces her across before retreating back into Bloom's staff. The Tiefling simply glares at him.*
"You don't get to hurt puretty fulowers!", she exclaims, as giggles manifest around her, and her wounds...begin to close.
Bloom casts thornwhip at Veno:
Attack: 21
Damage: 5
Spike Growth Damage: 11 (For being dragged 10ft, I put a pink box where I think she would move due to the attack and Bloom's position when casting the spell).
Alright... so the entire group has made a mess out of things huh? I can't believe I gotta play along with this... Whatever. *His katana glows a misty cyan blue* I'll just stun... hmm... crap I gotta stun the guy who tried to trap the two girls for now and maybe slow his movement by 10ft since he looks the most capable, though I also think that the others can be absolute threats too...
Action as he quickly slices a wave with his katana: "Shizukesa Kogeki, Kori - Shimo no kōsen! (静けさ攻撃 氷 - 霜の光線)"
16 to hit, 3 Ice Damage (Non-lethal) and movement slowed by 10ft if it does land. (Radions needs to make a concentration check)

Note: There are actually two closest targets to Shugo, which are Glorija and Elvīns. I'll assume you meant Elvīns.
Note: To speed things up, post as soon as possible, do not wait until it is your turn to post. I'm still trying to figure out some sort of system that will make this faster, but all of them would either be unbalanced, ineffective or involve me having to write a few scenarios. If your action ends in failure or something completely different from what you have in mind, you can always come back and edit your post. Chop chop, people, your first combat shouldn't take an entire week to finish.
Upon seeing the pink Tiefling girl, the bandit's panic turns into confusion. Lavīze lowers her spear, but Veno is still taking cover behind Helena's shield, wand ready "What are you doing here, girl? Move! Or you'll get caught in a crossfire and—" Elvīns stops mid-sentence as a field of razor-sharp thorns rises from the ground. "What in the—? Damn it! Elmars, you coward! How pathetic of you, why don't you come out and face us face-to-face?"
"I don't think Elmars is really here, Elvīns..." Glorija says, she would've touched his shoulder by now if not for the fact that any step she takes could result in her being ripped apart like wood in a wood grinder.
Then, out of nowhere, a dart strucks the side of the half-orc, piercing his armour. He grits his teeth, then a winged humanoid swoops from the sky and slashes at him. He raises his sword up and perfectly parries the hit
"Hey, Radions, a little help here?" Lavīze calls out to her friend. The quiet gnome, who is on the edge of the field of thorns, slowly turns her head towards the direction of Venet and Bloom.
And for the first time, he speaks. "Entangle." The ground below the two rumbles, and roots shoot out from the ground below, wrapping around their foot and their bodies. And just like always, he returns back to brooding quietly on the edge of the area of effect
It's now Veno's turn, he closes his eyes and points his wand at Bloom. "Here I go... Storm of Swords!" A circle of spectral swords manifests in the air, surrounding the Tiefling girl and slashing her just like a fruit inside a food processor... literally, after all, cherry blossoms eventually have to turn into cherries one day.
After casting a spell, Veno clutches his chest and heaves. It seems that casting a spell really takes a toll on him, it's sometimes like that for some people.
Helene looks back at him, but before she can say anything, he cuts her out. "Don't worry, Helene... I-I'll be fine... just need a rest after all of this is over." He says between his breaths.
"The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference."
Her eyes dart to Radions with a frown as vines wrap around her form, securing her to her spot. When she opens her mouth a discordant ethereal melody leaves her as she casts Dissonant Whispers on the figure in return.
Wis Save: DC 14
On a failed save, it takes 6 psychic damage (awful roll:1, 2, 3)
She then looks up to Xander, her voice losing its discordant quality, as she focuses her magic on him. He gains a bardic inspiration (1d6).
Alex grits his teeth, perhaps the wings were a bit too much right now... oh well too late.
He presses his blade against Elvins's, and uses the leverage to help himself gain just a little more elevation the blades grating together as he moves directly into either a parry or an offensive downwards strike depending on if the half-orc decides to try and hit him.
To hit: 6 (not going to bother rolling damage for that lol)
...well he tries to land another hit, but apparently the midair maneuver is too advanced for him, and he winds up careening over the top of Elvins. Leaving himself quite open as he lets out a surprised shout. It's pretty obvious he's not super used to flying.
(Yeah, I Elvins is fine. lol I couldn't see the map when I made that post.)
Shugo cringes as he sees Bloom's attack. That girl is vicious. Hopefully she doesn't end up actually killing any of these people. Pulling another dart, he sends it flying towards the Half-orc. Yeah, that guy is clearly the leader. This group seems like it would fall apart without the guy...
To hit: 15
Damage:4
Whether or not the hit lands, Shugo takes a moment to yell at the bandits, "You could just surrender! The less bloodshed the better eh? Sure we did attack first but...we really don't want any of you to end up mortally wounded in this little skirmish." He emphasizes the his words, trying to get the point across to everyone, including his companions.

Upon seeing how upset his kin is, Veno looks back at her and waves. "S-sorry about that... Next time, I'll make sure to use a spell that's less... destructive, By the way, how do you think of the name of—" Then, he feels something sharp wrapping against his throat—then, a pool. Next thing he knows, the girl drags him across a field of thorns, his face scraping against the sharp ground. "WAHHH!"
He slides to a stop, his face bloodied, he's defeated, but still alive, groaning softly in pain.
Helene covers her mouth, she's tearing up a bit too. It's clear as a day that she and Veno are closer together than anyone else in this group of misfit bandits "Veno!"
"You little devil! You'll pay for this!" Elvīns says as he elbows the dart thrown by Shugo without looking. He takes a step towards her but quickly parries Alex's blow with his longsword. "Right, I still have to deal with you first." He spins around and slashes the Aasimar in his heels, "I've fought mud crabs more fearsome than you!"
"Let me handle her."Glorija levitates her spellbook and summons a magic circle in the air. "Magic Missile!" Four darts of arcane energy shoot into the sky, they seem to be heading in a random direction at first, before locking on to Bloom and zooming towards her, exploding in her face.
Helene wipes her tears and lightly slaps her face with both of her hands. "Alright, focus, focus..."She makes a gesture and summons a ball of grey light. She then throws it in the general direction of Renar, and a dome of grey see-through sphere materialises, "Silence!". Looking from the outside, it seems like whatever is inside that sphere has its colour desaturated, and of course, anyone inside the sphere cannot hear a single thing around them. (The sphere is the grey dashed circle. Because Renar's initiative comes after Helene, he'll have to move out of the area in order to cast his spell, he can use the same rolls.)
Lavīze quickly comforts Helene, touching her arm and whispering something to her, and the pink dwarf seems to loosen up. She let go of her and realised...
"Oh, snap, the pork ribs!"She looks toward our protagonists and clasps her hands, "I know you guys want to arrest me and send us to prison, but please, please, please let us have a bowl of skābeņu zupa before you put us in the slammer, alright? I-I'll give you anything, even my entire Solic roleplaying books!"
You all know what Solic is, it's a demonym for Sol, the star which was believed to be the home of humans according to Lancean mythology. There is a difference between Solic artefacts and human artefacts, though—Solic artefacts refer to specific trinkets that highlight the culture of humans, such as jewellery, literature, historical records, and drawings, while human artefacts are a broader term that refers to anything humans have ever made; all Solic artefacts are human artefacts, but not all human artefacts are Solic artefacts. It's not rare to see cultural artefacts of humans here and there, but anything that involves human technology is extremely rare to the point of being almost mythical.
"Lavīze, you smooth-brain! Shut your mouth and help us fight! If we don't win this, I'll force-feed you lobsters after we've got out of jail." Elvīns looks back, growling. The rest of the bandits collectively gag at the mention of the lobster, even Veno coughs before going back to 'sleep.' Historically, lobsters were only eaten by people in extreme poverty or prisoners, and it's no different here. Lobsters are mainly harvested to be a fertiliser or pig feed, anyone with common sense and a respectable taste would never touch a lobster—because it's so bad that even prisoners themselves dislike it.
If the terrain is safe for her to walk, she'll run towards Shugo and poke him with her spear.
Even after being hit with a spell that's supposed to scare him, Radions calmly walks away with a blank facial expression, as if Venet just politely asks him to move away. He might look battered and worn out, but it's hard to tell what's going on inside his head with the way he acts, anyway, he snaps his finger and summons an icy bolt. "Ice Knife." That's his third word of the day, the knife ice sails in the air and explodes in front of Venet. If anyone is adjacent to her, they'll take damage too.
Radions cast Ice Knife, 22 to hit, 6 damage and 8 AOE cold damage.

For the first time today, Venet feels cold and shivers slightly as the spell makes impact with her. She tries to free herself from the vines entangling her but its a null effort. Str save: 6
She blows out a breath, trying to calm her frustration. Then turning her head to bloom, "You're doing great, keep it up." Bardic to Bloom (1d6) ________________________________________ Reminder to people with bardic: If a creature has a Bardic Inspiration die from you and casts a spell that restores hit points or deals damage, the creature can roll that die and choose a target affected by the spell. Add the number rolled as a bonus to the hit points regained or the damage dealt. The Bardic Inspiration die is then lost.
Bloom lets out cries of pain, childish in nature, as four darts of force energy slam into her and bruise her body. She tries to keep her concentration on the spell active, but eventually is forced to let it go. Her eyes narrow at the person who attacked her, but she sees a knife fly in Venet's direction and explode. Bloom gracefully twirls and dodges the stray ice shards that fly towards her afterward (Dexterity Saving Throw: 18) Thankfully Venet was not too badly harmed, but she was restrained by druidic magic. "Don't worry Venet! I will help you!", she says. Bloom decided to ignore the man shooting magical missiles at him and go for an attack against the one restraining Venet. She runs out of the area that has silence and sends a whip made of thorns at Radions. The whip twirls about and flails in the air, she was indeed too injured. With a twirl, giggles could be heard as once again the Tiefling mended her wounds (Healing Word: 7 hitpoints regained).
"You are all ugly and don't look puretty at all!", she announces before sticking her tongue out at all of the enemies before them.
Alexander quickly dodges out of the way, letting out a small yelp and then a, "Hey..." at the half-orc's comment. A mud crab? Well that wasn't a very nice comment, but in all honesty he hasn't really been showing his 'fearsome' side now has he. He's pretty sure that he's the only one who hasn't managed to land a single hit on an enemy. "Ugh, I knew flying was a bad idea," he thinks before retaliating with another strike. He is careful to strike with the flat of his blade, aiming for Elvins's head and hoping to knock him out.
To hit: 13 ... since this didn't hit last time I'm not going to bother rolling damage.
Yet again, he swings and misses... likely because he didn't realize that his little summersault earlier put him much further away from his enemy than he'd anticipated. His blade swinging harmlessly over Elvins head. For a second, he hovers there... a little dumbfounded. Then he rubs the back of his neck with one hand and gives a chuckle, "Wow... I'm really not making a good first impression am I?" The whole team is going to think he was all talk earlier and completely useless in battle.
Shugo sighs. Of course it couldn't be that easy, no one in their right mind would just give up and walk to jail especially when they outnumber the folks trying to apprehend them. Well, if that half-orc wasn't here then maybe the rest would have come easy. Ugh, this is turning out to be such a bother.
It is at that moment that he fully registers Alexander winging his way over the vines. That kid can fly?! No wonder he's still alive. Man it must be nice not to have to use your feet all the time. Well at least he can try to be useful...huh, maybe they should have talked to each other about their strengths before rushing into a fight... oh well, maybe next time.
The elf nearly gags at the mention of lobsters, what a low blow to threaten your friends with such a thing. Yuck. The though of eating such nasty things clearly distracts Shugo. In fact he's distracted enough to be caught extremely off guard when the woman who almost surrendered to him rushes over through the now non existent pink thorns (Oh great someone must have hit Bloom...though she seems like she'd lose concentration easily so she's probably still safe? Guess he'll find out later if she moves somewhere he can see her.) He stumbles slightly backward in an attempt to adopt a ready stance and parry the spear with his palm, unfortunately he seriously misjudges the blow and promptly slaps his hand right into the sharp blade. Luckily this does keep him from being skewered. "Yeeowch! Come on lady! I'll give you another chance, if you surrender now. You can make whatever you want with those pork ribs. I promise! ...so long as you share it with me!"He skips two steps back shaking his bloody hand as he uses his other to draw his sword. He doesn't really expect the girl to give up now, but no harm in trying right?
Finally steadying himself, he lets out a deep breath. He takes a swing at what he thinks is her primary arm in an attempt to get her to drop her spear, though he tries to keep the cut shallow as to not cause permanent damage. Then he follows the strike with a swift punch to the woman's face. The faster he knocks her out, the less he has to hurt her.
Ugh... I got silenced... I can't believe this fight is going down south fast, just as I feared... Next time... maybe just reveal ourselves as normal travellers first before leaping. But... I've got one last tactic up my sleeve. Sorry pal but... I'm not in the mood to conjure anything anymore because... Seeing that the orc must be the leader of the group, I deduce that the entire gang would cease to function if he passed. But we're not here to kill that's the thing. So, as I move directly next to Alex, I instantly expose myself as I use the orcish warrior for cover in case his teammates try to attack me. and hold him hostage with my katana held towards his chest. Yeah I know I'm obviously shorter and weaker than him but that doesn't mean I can't threaten him to commit seppuku... right? Anyways...
Wait... since when could Alex fly?! I never saw his wings up until now! And how was he able to spread them through such heavy armour like this?! As for lobsters well... Neither of the shifters including me have eaten one yet but maybe...? Anyways x2...
"DON'T MOVE! I DON'T KNOW IF YOU GUYS ARE THE BANDITS OR SOMETHING BUT WE CAN EITHER DO THIS THE EASY WAY OR THE HARD WAY!" I yell in my most aggressive voice ever as I completely ignore trying to disguise my oriental accent. Ugh my throat is already sore from this... "ONE LAST CHANCE! ONE MORE STEP OR SPELL FROM ANY OF YOU AND THIS GUY WILL PART WITH HIS LIFE!"
Intimidation: 19 + 1 = 20
Trigger: If any of them including the orc himself try to attack me, I'll slice his chest clean for them to see. (Just hard enough so that he'll live. If this was Rixian he would have at least try to negotiate first before battling it out with them honestly.)

Attack: To hit: 13 Damage: 11 + 2 (radiant)
[28/30] AC 16
Bloom casts healing word: 7 hitpoints regained
Alright... so the entire group has made a mess out of things huh?
Translation: Silent Attack Ice - Ray of Frost
After that I duck behind the rocks since everyone can now see me after attacking.

Round 2
"Let me handle her." Glorija levitates her spellbook and summons a magic circle in the air. "Magic Missile!" Four darts of arcane energy shoot into the sky, they seem to be heading in a random direction at first, before locking on to Bloom and zooming towards her, exploding in her face.
Helene wipes her tears and lightly slaps her face with both of her hands. "Alright, focus, focus..." She makes a gesture and summons a ball of grey light.
"Oh, snap, the pork ribs!" She looks toward our protagonists and clasps her hands, "I know you guys want to arrest me and send us to prison, but please, please, please let us have a bowl of skābeņu zupa before you put us in the slammer, alright?
Elvīns Longsword attack: 13, damage 13
Glorija Magic Missile (Spell Slot Lv II—4 darts): 8—Bloom concentration save: 19, 17, 6, 8
Lavīze Spear attack: 16, damage 11
Round 3

Then turning her head to bloom, "You're doing great, keep it up." Bardic to Bloom (1d6)

Reminder to people with bardic: If a creature has a Bardic Inspiration die from you and casts a spell that restores hit points or deals damage, the creature can roll that die and choose a target affected by the spell.

I promise! ...so long as you share it with me!" He skips two steps back shaking his bloody hand as he uses his other to draw his sword.
Scimitar to hit: 21
Damage: 9
Unarmed strike: 17
Damage: 7
