Rixi as usual, trails behind everyone else and keeps at least a 5ft distance should he perhaps explode out of the blue. Gosh this is so nerve-wracking, having to keep his monstrous intentions underneath his flaming heart, all the while gather clues as to how his families, both biological and adopted, met their demise. He needs to know ASAP. He can't just leave a vengeful oath unresolved until his psychological damage gets the better of him; He needs to end this fast. It's either he ends this wrath, or he ends himself. He has no choice.
But anyways, after getting lost in thought, the Fire Genasi shakes his head when he realises everyone had came to a standstill in front of the mayor's house.
Arriving at the mayor's house and knock on the door. You all hear distinct, hurried footsteps rush over. Then a tired sounding voice asks from behind the door, "Who's there?"
"I believe you called us here because you need us to find some lost people... am I right or not?"Rixi replies with a voice so low he almost sounds like a dark lord instead of a young adult.

Wow, this looks like it's been let go a bit. Where are all the grounds staff?
Rowarin has clear memories of this place. There used to be dancing, fun and games. Town halls and meetings and all sorts of events, anything really, would come through here.
Rowarin waits whilst Rixi knocks and answers the tired voice from behind the door. Waiting a moment to see if he has more to say, Rowarin speaks up "Mayor, is that you? We've come to help. Allows us to introduce ourselves, preferably not through a door."
Soma eagerly snaps up whatever snacks Mina proffers her. Once finished, she makes a purring sound in her throat, fluffing her feathers and appearing quite content. Though, when the drow moves to leave, she cocks her head at him as if confused before fluffing up once more and nestling as close as she can to Mina's neck.
At the Mayor's house, Mizu stands silently, waiting to see if the man will let them in or not.
As the Drow turns to leave, Kulogall says, “Right. Good advice. Present company included, I gather.” He watches the Drow recede and walk upstairs. He turns to Mina and says “They were headed to the Mayor’s house, let’s head there now, we can catch them if we hurry. I’m not leaving you alone in the place, my “fey” friend!” He gives her a smile, then heads to the door, jogging to keep up with his companions, but making sure Mina is coming with him. When they get outside, Kulogall says “Soma, fly above us and show us the way!”
Enjoying the company of Mizu's familiar, the drow's attitude doesn't bother her and she shrugs lightly when the man heads up to his room.
"Yes, let's catch up. Did one of them mention the blacksmith? I wonder if there is something to garner there as well? I didn't quite hear. I hope the mayor is forthcoming, from what I gather, most care more about their positions than their actual constituents." She sticks with Kulogall as they wind their way through town following their new friend.
Leeta just waits for the voice behind the door to open and puts a smile on her face, hoping that when they do open, meeting an amiable face will make the follow up conversation easier.
After Rixi and Rowarin's response, the group hears the sound of several dead-bolts sliding before the door opens revealing a short man with a slightly balding head. Though, he's still taller than Leeta and Mizu. "So your here to help." He says, stating it as fact rather than a question, but he sounds relieved and grateful. He steps back and motions for you all to come inside. As you walk in, he looks over each of you. Rowarin recognizes the Mayor as Mickael Herrenson, he's been mayor of Withermore for as long as you can remember. However, it seems that Mickael doesn't recognize the aasimar.
The Mayor leads you into the living room and motions for you to sit down. "I'm sorry for the mess," He apologizes, "I'm afraid a lot of things have gotten out of hand lately."
The house isn’t particularly dirty, but it obviously hasn’t been cleaned in a while. There’s dust on almost every surface that doesn’t see regular use, and there are letters everywhere. Some of which are unopened. If looked at, most of the unopened ones have no name or address. They are likely from people of the town. Many of the opened ones look like returned letters that the Major had sent to the larger surrounding cities.
"My name is Mickael Herrenson." He says, "What can I help you with?"
Mina and Kulogall leave the inn not long after the other group did, so with Soma's guidance, they catch up to the others fairly quickly. Though not fast enough to make it to the house before the others are inside.
Leeta mutters a "Greetings", comes inside and seeing the house in such disarray is not sure where she can sit. So she begins gathering the letters and every other thing that can be out of is intended place, trying to get empty places for everyone to sit in, and putting a drop of order in the sea of chaos that is the living room.
As she does this, she can't help but take a quick peak at a couple of the opened ones, so she may catch a sentence of two. But otherwise, she leaves them in two separate heaps (opened and unopened) in any table she can find. Then she just says:
-I am sorry for everything that has happened, sir. We want to help with the disappearances. We have been at the Stonedog, but would like to know what else you could tell us that could help with the investigation.
Perception (to see if I catch anything on the letters): 10.
Whenever Soma arrives with the others at the Mayor's door, Mizu wordlessly makes his way back to the door to open it for them and let them in. Instead of returning to her master, Soma flies out and circles the building--keeping an eye out for the redhead or anyone who may look suspicious or endangered.
Mizu moves to stand beside Leeta, crossing his arms and tilting his head as he waits for the Mayor's response.
Mina looks up at the facade of the mayor's house and sees that it isn't exactly in disrepair.. but.. well, she thinks, maybe he is too busy caring for the people of the town and the disappaerances to worry about the current situation of his home. On that good note, she walks up to the door and is about to knock when Mizu suddenly opens the door for them.
Taking a step back, she smiles at the water genasi. "Why hello! Your friend is quite helpful by the way." she says this as she watches Soma fly back out of the mayor's house and start circling.
"So, how forthcoming is this town's mayor?" Mina asks Mizu as they start heading in. But goes quiet as she sees the conversation has apparently started.
Kulogall walks in the door and with a sudden inward gust behind him, the door slams shut like there was a sudden wind outside. His eyes flicker and he looks to the Mayor, trying to listen in on the conversation already started. He leans over to Mina saying, “I hope he is very much so, he is in charge of the town, after all. Others would say the investigation of such would rest solely on his shoulders…” and then he goes silent, tilting his chin up and watching the drama unfold.
Although Rixi was one of the first to enter, that doesn't mean he has an excuse to get all giddy about this mission. In fact, as he scans the messy interior that he wishes to clean up, a wave of uncertainty floods the veins flowing to his skull every 3 seconds. The only thing that snapped him back to reality was Leeta informing the mayor of the group's original intentions.
"Uh yeah um... As this young lady besides me says, we're here to um... to help finish what you intend to achieve with the disappearances. Unless... you have other plans for us?" He says conclusively with a low, but obvious oriental accent.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rowarin enters, recognising the mayor from his earlier years. Glancing around the room, he sees the once elaborate and glamorous rooms looking faded and worn, dust settling on all manners of surface.
Leeta begins asking the mayor about the disappearances, and whilst waiting for what the mayor has to say, Rowarin is going to skim his eyes over the room to see if there is anything that stands out of place, in comparison to the mess that has accumulated.
Looking at the letters, Leeta manages to pick up a few words, though they don't seem helpful for the case. Each of the opened letters she picks up seem to say pretty much the same thing. All of them are asking for help, whether it be for the larger cities to send soldiers, mages, or thief-catchers. Though due to the fact that they are all here, it's clear that the larger cities want nothing to do with the problems of Withermore.
"You've been to the StoneDog already? So you've probably already spoken with Bill." He looks a bit embarrassed about the letters, though you aren't sure if that's because of what they say or simply the fact that you had to move them in order to sit down. "To be completely honest. He probably knows more about what's going on than I do." He sighs heavily and rubs his temples. He turns to Rixi, seeming a little caught off guard by the young man's deep voice and foreign accent. "Uh-no. I don't have any other plans for you. I just want to figure out who or what is hurting my people." He says after taking a moment to process the genasi's words.
He gives Mizu an odd look when he stands and walks back to the front door. Sitting back in his chair, he simply assumes that you all were expecting someone. He opens his mouth to continue, only to be cut off by Kulogall's comment. Sighing again, he waits for Mizu to guide the two new guests to the living room and motions for them to sit down. "You are right in what you say."He says, focusing on the triton. "Those are the thoughts of the townsfolk, and I feel the same. This is my town, and I am supposed to be leading it, but believe me. It's not easy, especially when I can't get anyone to answer my requests for aid! Well, pretty much everyone. I've only had one city offer aid, but all they sent was one bloody knight and his squire, and I've barely heard any news of him." He starts to sound flustered, "By the gods! I can't even leave this building without being swamped by the townsfolk. I'm afraid to let my wife walk though town alone! I understand their anger, their fear, but I can only do so much. The towns guard is basically non-existent, and without outside aid, what am I supposed to do? I'm only one man."He takes a breath to try to calm himself down. "I'm sorry, I'm just so frustrated."He looks you all over, "I can't tell you how grateful I am for your aid, but...Please tell me you'll see it through? I promise I'll keep my end of the deal, I know this town looks poor but I do have the money to pay you."
Mizu nods when Mina mentions Soma's helpfulness, and shrugs when she asks if the Mayor is forthcoming, "Not much has been said yet." He says quietly.
When the Mayor motions them into the living room to sit down, Mizu takes a seat on the floor and sits crosslegged. Then he watches with a calm, reserved expression as the mayor explains his plight. Once the man is done talking Mizu says, "How long has this been going on exactly? Have you heard anything from any nearby villages? Is this a localized problem, or have any of them had anything similar happen?" He pauses, resting his hands on his knees after adjusting the angle of his back scabbard so it isn't pressing against the floor.
When Kulogall and Mina enter the living room, Leeta waves at them cheerfully. The team was together! It was so weird for her to be working with so many people. Weird, but nice. The halfling quickly turned her attention to the Major, and then to Mizu when he started talking. When he finished, she added:
- Uhmmmm, a knight and his squire? And who might they be? We could speak to them as well to see what they have learned. But you haven't had any news from them? Have they disappeared too?
Seeing the man so frustrated, Leeta feels a wave of empathy towards him and hops from her seat to approach him. Placing a hand on his arm, she says:
- We'll see this through, you'll see. We have just arrived and haven't been able to find that much just yet, but we will find out what is happening here. And of course, stop it. Right, Mizu? - she added, looking at her best friend with a confident smile.
"Always the optimistic", Master Jezza used to say about her. "...or perhaps, plain stubborn", he usually added afterwards. Well, whatever the case, she would definitely do anything in her hands to help the people of Withermore.
Mina listens to the dire news from the mayor. Understandable, but disappointed he didn't have any information for them to help them figure things out. "Maybe we need to head to some of the areas the missing people were last seen? Maybe there will be some clues left? I'm not really sure. Is there any sort of pattern with the people missing? Certain days, full moon? So many on a day? anything?" her frustration of the situation getting the better of her.
Kulogall nods, crossing his arms. He says to the mayor, “And why do the missing ones seem to be of fey ancestry? Any idea about that?” He tries not to, but his eyes dart toward Mina. He stands firm and strong, crossing his forearms even tighter.
"Just wanted to check. Usually whenever I rock up to something like this I'm given a task that would stall for time and away from the actual goal. And I don't want a repeat of this. All I want is to now not just who, but why. If these disappearances have been going on for a while, I need to know what those culprit's motives are. I need to why to they insist on letting this happen and what they intend to do in the upcoming days we're here."He growls. Small wisps of flame emit from the ends of his smooth, long hair as he says so.
I've only had one city offer aid, but all they sent was one bloody knight and his squire, and I've barely heard any news of him."
Rixi listens to the mayor converse with the others, though with the aquatic ones he again keeps his distance and hold in the monster caged within his fiery soul. Besides taking a slight interest in Mizu, who reminds him of his kitsune and dark elf companions, He's got nothing much to say, so it wouldn't be wise to spit unnecessary facts when they're not needed. When offered to sit down, he insists to remain standing. At the mention of a sole who never showed up, Rixi turns to the mayor suspiciously. "One knight? That's it?" He raises an eyebrow sceptically. "How many were you actually expecting and from where? The idea of sending one person who hasn't arrived at your request sounds rather dishonourable. Unless I assume he's got something to do with it... Again, I'm not expecting you to have the answer but either way, I need background info."
He starts to sound flustered, "By the gods! I can't even leave this building without being swamped by the townsfolk. I'm afraid to let my wife walk though town alone! I understand their anger, their fear, but I can only do so much. The towns guard is basically non-existent, and without outside aid, what am I supposed to do? I promise I'll keep my end of the deal, I know this town looks poor but I do have the money to pay you."
Right. So even the townsfolk are blaming this guy for it. Sigh... whatever. He's got a job to do so if he can identify who the culprit is and find more clues about how to kill the sworn enemies that nearly ruined him in the past, it's a win-win. "Look, sir. I'm not here for the money. I'm just here to finish what you started..." He trails off before shutting into his thoughts. Plus something greater than that... Something that I need to vanquish, before it vanquishes me. And right now, those water guys that I'm forced to ally with seem like a good place to begin my rampage... if it wasn't for that wizard and half-elf here. I kind of owe them in keeping my rages in check...

Kulogall stands with arms crossed, as Rixi launches into the Mayor, pressing him. He nods and considers, watching the Mayor’s face, thinking merely “Is he really this clueless, that he doesn’t know what could be happening in his town? Afraid of being “swamped”, by his own people? He’s not lying… is he?” He tries to discern from his body stance and word inflections, but in the end he doesn’t really know and chooses to take him at face value, waiting to see if Rixi’s words have any effect.

"Just wanted to check. Usually whenever I rock up to something like this I'm given a task that would stall for time and away from the actual goal. And I don't want a repeat of this. All I want is to now not just who, but why. If these disappearances have been going on for a while, I need to know what those culprit's motives are. I need to why to they insist on letting this happen and what they intend to do in the upcoming days we're here." He growls. Small wisps of flame emit from the ends of his smooth, long hair as he says so.
