On seeing Willow stroll into its territory, the lone conscious wolf finds its spirit and launches itself towards her, baying. The rusty iron collar digs hard into its neck as the chain snaps taut.
Wolf 3 Strength check against the chain: 15
Mara, who had turned to look at Alden as he walks into the cave and had opened her mouth to speak, gasps as she hears the wolf suddenly burst back into life and whirls to check that Willow is ok.
The iron rod driven into the cave floor to secure the chain moves alarmingly as the wolf's weight slams against it. It's holding for the moment but one more tug like that and it may just come free.
Aeran checks out the corpse of the goblin to see if he has anything worth of note. As he does so, he hears the wolf growling and pulling at the chain. The paladin's gaze stops on the animal, weighting in his options. If Mara didn't have a donkey tied somewhere around the cave, the elf would have probably freed the wolf. Should he just kill it to end its misery? But that would go against elven believes and customs...
After a short consideration, Aeran takes out some dried meat from his food rations from his backpack and throws them at the wolf, hoping it would distract the animal enough so they can move on.

Aeran Dormaris - L2 Paladin on his way to Phandelver
Aeran's search of the unfortunate goblin in the wolves' chamber reveals that he is similarly dressed to the one in the stream that Mayres just searched, though its sword is more of a savage bludgeoning blade whilst the one in the stream wielded a razor-sharp scimitar. This one was a bit more flush with cash, carrying 3 GP, 7 SP, and 2 CP.
Throwing the food to the wolf seems to have had a calming effect on the beast. Its appetite sated, it settles onto its haunches and simply watches the goings-on around it with its unsettling yellow eyes.
Mara looks across from Mayres' bloody wound to Alden's and hesitates, now unsure as to who has more need of the healing potion she had been offering to Lukuth.
"Um..." she says, and grimaces. "I've only got one of these I'm afraid. It looks like you could all do with one. My learning hasn't really touched healing spells, I'm so sorry. I wish I could help you all but..." She gestures hopelessly at the single vial of red liquid she is holding up.
Willow rubs herself around Lukuth's uninjured leg, in what might be some sort of attempted assistance.
There is a momentary lull in battle. The goblins may have run off to warn others or bring reinforcements. They definitely know you are here and will no doubt be trying to come up with a plan to deal with these pesky intruders. What is your plan now?

"I'm not really that good at healing either," Mayres said, hobbling upstream, "so don't feel bad about that." He sat down on the edge of the bank, his knee screaming with every movement, drew a waterskin from his satchel, dunked it in the water, and began to clean himself to the best of his ability.
"I'm curious about that cat of yours, Mara. Is she your familiar? I'm not sure if we should go on," he said, switching topics so fast he might have given the others whiplash, "it might be best for us to return to the town and gather more forces. Oh, but no," he answered himself, "if we leave, they'll have time to prepare, set more traps and whatnot."
They did hit us harder than we thought. Mayres Luk, make sure one of you takes the potion.
Go straight after them and use our momentum? The goblins' morale seems shattered after the boss's death. This could be a good chance With 2/3 casualties I honestly don't know how good our chances are if things get tough for us
The side cave here could also give us a good opportunity to take a short rest. Maybe the uninjured can stand guard while the rest regenerate - in case they are planning something after all
Aeran collects all the coin he finds, maybe it will be useful later to get some more supplies, then makes his way to the rest of the group. Upon seeing his wounded companions, a worried frown appears on his face, and he spends a moment considering their next move.
"I think we should keep going. And you two should stay in the back",he nods at Alden and Mayres. "If things do get really bad, I can heal you enough so nobody dies, but for now let's try to stop any bleeding and then press on," he adds after seeing Luk drink the health potion.
Mara responds, "Um..." to Mayres' question as he plows on without waiting for a response. As Lukuth drinks the healing potion, she looks around worriedly, feeling like she ought to be able to do more to help. Listening to Mayres, Alden, and Aeran's thoughts she nods thoughtfully.
"You're probably right," she says to Aeran, though she doesn't sound overly convinced. Looking back to Mayres she says, "Yes, Willow is my familiar. I know I shouldn't indulge her because she's not a real cat, but she does such a good job of behaving like one that I just can't help myself. It's easy to forget sometimes. I'd probably cry and everything if she got killed, even though that's silly because I could just summon her back again." She shrugs. "Anyway, I could send her up that tunnel if you want. She's pretty good at going unnoticed usually, and I can see through her eyes, so I could see what we're up against if we were to go rushing in there." She stops and looks around at the group to see if her suggestion gains your approval.

She stops and looks around at the group to see if her suggestion gains your approval.
"You're right, that is silly; but I've known many magic users who were most upset when their familiar died, so I'm not going to hold it against you." He smiled then, his expression easy and pleasant, the effect only slightly diminished by the splatters of blood (both the goblins' and his), dust, mud, and ink, that he was currently (and badly) trying to scrub off with the wet waterskin.
"I've never had a familiar myself, so I don't know how that would feel, the closest thing was the flock of ravens I trained as a child for my mother." And Annabel – her hand soft, her callouses rough, the black-feathered bird on her wrist had been ugly and battle-scarred. “Her name is Lenore,” he had told his friend, "I chose her for you.” Because I’m ugly? she had joked, “no,” he had responded, “because like you, she’s a survivor. Too clever, too dangerous, too strong.” He had paused, and then said, in a quieter voice, “and if you think scars aren't beautiful, you clearly haven't looked at your reflection for too long.” – but he wasn’t going to tell them that, not now, not ever.
“As for the whole spying-cat plan, I think we should do it. Given our current circumstances, and everything.”
"Okay," Mara nods. She reaches out a hand and places it on Lukuth's shoulder for support as she closes her eyes.
Willow makes her way along the right-hand wall of the cavern until she is opposite the branching tunnel, then leaps gracefully over the stream and disappears into the darkness. After a few moments, her eyes still closed, Mara wrinkles her nose and mutters, "Eurgh, there are certainly some goblins in there. She can smell them already."
A few more moments of silence.
"She's come to a junction," says Mara. "A tunnel heading off to the right, and I think it's another cavern to the left... Yes, that's where they've gone. There's some light in there. A torch I think. I can hear goblins in there too. On the left side of the cavern there is a ledge with some steps going up to it. Hang on..." She furrows her brow in concentration.
"The two who ran from here are on the lower level. They seem to be having some sort of argument with someone on the higher level. There are some boxes along the wall, I'll get Willow to try and use them as cover to get further in..."
Willow stealth (advantage because the goblins are distracted and there is cat-sized cover to sneak behind): 11
"Okay, I can see... there's someone on the higher level. Another goblin and... someone else. It's a human I think. A man. He's tied up and looks in a bad way. Oh, poor man. They've treated him horribly by the look of it. He's still alive though. He's moving. Barely. That's all I can see. I think it's just the one goblin on the higher level and the two down here. I mean there. Where Willow is. Those two are not in a good way after Mayres did the fire spell on them. Looks like the one up top is trying to make them go back out here, but they don't seem keen. I can't see any other tunnels leading off this cavern but I can't see all the way to the back of the ledge. There's a torch wedged in a crack in the wall so there's a bit of light."
Mara pauses for a few seconds.
"Come on Willow," she says, "come back now. Be careful."
After a few more seconds, the lithe shape appears out of the tunnel, springs back over the stream and returns to Mara. She opens her eyes and crouches to give the familiar some fuss.
"Good girl," she says, "yes you are!" She looks up abruptly, her cheeks reddening slightly. "Sorry," she says, and gives a small apologetic shrug. "I told you I get carried away sometimes."
Aeran nods in response. "Let's go,"before leading the group further into the cave, since he seems to be the only one not currently wounded. Still, he tries to focus, in case there are any traps, although if Willow didn't trigger anything, he hopes that the goblins forgot to put some.

Aeran Dormaris - L2 Paladin on his way to Phandelver
Mayres obediently trudged along at the back of the group. His pale blue eyes took in the cave, the weak light making it harder for him to see what he was looking at or where he was going.
“Bye smelly goblin!” Lukuth shouts as the goblin hightails it out of there.
He will then sit down and pull the arrows out of him.
Bonus action: end rage :D
