Biezdar was eavesdropping to what Gor is saying to Jayson, and taken by surprise by Orson when he called him to talk to guards. He does not like being ordered, and got a little spiteful however still calm and taking it jokingly, he says:
- Oh, I don't really remember why are we here. Orson wasn't that your idea to come here? Or maybe you should ask Gor, i heard he got some ideas./he puts on a half smile/

”Milord, we were dispatched by the city fathers of Phandalin to warn this contingent of industrious dwarves of the danger presented by a white dragon that has been sighted in the region recently.”
He turns to the dwarves.
”Our directive was only to warn you of the possible threat. We have no mandate to remove you or to compel you to vacate your project. We were sent to warn you, and warn you we have. What you choose to do based on that forewarning is entirely up to you all.”
Jayson unfolds the jobs posting and presents the blank side to the dwarves.
”If one of you could please make your mark here to signify that you have received notice of the possible presence of and/or attack by a dragon.”
Jayson awaits the signature. Once that is squared away, the group can go exfiltrate the midwife.

Kosef steps forward, looking over the dwarves shoulders to the ruins behind them. “Of course, if you had any issues worthy of a group of adventurers, we’d be happy to lend a hand.” He knows of course that old dwarven ruins tend to hold dangerous monsters, and a few ancient treasures.
One or them signs, the other one listening to Kosef
"Why yes, if you could help rid this ruin of monsters we would gladly part with our pair of sending stones. We haven't been able to get as far in as we wanted before we were attacked."
As the groups interact, Quin/Orson draws a couple of smoothed and rounded stones from the pouch at his waist. The stones give off a faint *click* *click* as he slowly swirls them around in the palm of his hand.
Biezdar receives the look from Orson, bounces that look back to Jayson. When Jayson answers, Biezdar looks back at Orson and smiles wildly with closed lips. It shows, that he was going to agree as well, and is happy that team thinks alike. He then takes his flail and spins it two times.
- Well, since the dragon is not present here at the moment, we would gladly take care of your problem.

As you talk about the dragon, you all hear a loud (but distant) roar. Those with nature proficiency and passive perception of at least 13 can tell it came from 5 miles east, those with passive perception of 15+ saw a quick reflection of light in the distance, from a large shape in the sky. Both options can tell it seems to be moving away not closer.
"We got a bit of the way in before we were attacked by a yellow slimy thing. It was above an altar. We haven't gone further to know if anything else is around"
Biezdar looks up to the sky upon hearing the roar, but does not see anything.
- Hmm maybe the storm is coming. Well, all the more reason to get inside don't you all think? Let's help these lads with slimy problem. Anyone got any idea how to fight slimes? I intend to smash it until i make it into sloshy puddle, but i am open for some tactical advice.
Biezdar seems to be in good mood, and keeps his smirk. Slime opponent sounds weird, but it is always a new experience. No complaining on his part. He was happily laid back and ok with others taking care of things, but now when there is opportunity to fight it is different. He is getting active.
/Biezdar, does not wait for an answer and start marching./
- Show us the way and stand back please.

Kosef sees the dragon in the sky and smiles. This truly will be a story for the ages, he’s sure of it. He addresses the dwarves as he hurries after the others.
”Is there much else you can tell us about these slimes, size, shape, skills, specific colour?”
Nature check to see if he’s heard of what the dwarves describe and can glean some tactical information: 14
”Somebody should light a torch. I doubt the dwarves bothered with a light source. Darkvision is dandy, but in shades of gray, if the slimy thing blends in with the altar, we’re going to be up a creek sans paddle. In literature, altars built in dark places seldom mean good things. I don’t have a torch with me, or I’d do it myself.”
The bard falls in line behind those leading the way.
Gor seems bored once he realizes he's not going to be sledging these Dwarves. He moves off to the side, grumbling, adjusting his implements, kicking about a rock with his furred boots...and then...and then there is a glimmer of hope from the darkness, for Jayson tells him someone, or rather, something, needs sledged.
"Oah!" He says excitedly, bouncing on the balls of his feet back toward the conversation. He listens to the explanation of the slime thing, and nods his head when his friends ask if anyone knows how to deal with a slime. "Oah, same way you deal with all of life's problems! You sledge them into submission! Break their bones to powder to mix with mortar, I say! More blood for Lodis!
He looks up and around when Biezdar mentions the storm but sees (and hears) nothing, then shrugs. However, as the Dwarves begin taking them toward the alter where they allegedly saw this thing, and then Jayson mentions the torch. Gor pauses, kneeling down and pulling a torch out of his pack before lighting it with a spark, then proceeding on, holding his maul in one hand, the torch in the other, and preparing to throw the torch if he needs to grab his weapon.
"Tell me, short ones," Gor says, addressing the Dwarves, "How many bones do you think this slime thing has? And how much blood?"

Never heard of it before. "We didn't stick around long enough to find out more. We care more about our lives than monsters"
You all follow the dwarves into the excavation. They take you through the gap in the wall that Quin/Orsen scouted them leaving. The other side of this partially collapsed wall has three heaps of rubble piled high. Hewn from the canyon’s back wall, a thirty-foot-high temple facade features steps rising to a stone platform. Cut into this facade is a ten-foot-high open doorway flanked by crumbling, life-sized granite statues of cloaked dwarves. Evil grins can be seen on their weatherworn faces.
"we camp here. We found a secret door the other side of those doors with nothing of interest behind it. And another set of double doors leading into the temple area that we saw the monster at the altar."

Kosef looks up at the evil dwarves and tries to think if he remembers anything about evil cloaked dwarves. Something that may give them some insight into what they may find in the depths:
Im assuming this is a religion check but my history is the same modifier: 6
Any insight gained he’ll pass on to his companions and follow through the door. Excitedly puffing on his pipe.
Gor looks around and rubs his chin, not liking the looks of this situation. He reaches out and lays a hand on one of the Dwarves's shoulders before pointing up toward the open doors.
"Lead us up to the doors." He says, nodding the direction the Dwarf had indicated. "Show us the path your took. I don't trust this place. It looks old and evil, oah. Did you check it for traps before? Pitfalls, anything like that? Anything that can kill us before we get to the inner sanctum?"
As he awaits his answer, he turns a big grin to the rest of the party.
"Did you hear that, brothers? He said it has lots of blood!"
Biezdar, however unsure about the nature of the enemy, takes front rank and is going half a footstep in front of dwarves, letting them lead but being able to react first to the danger.
- Ok everyone, stay close. Act cautiously and inspect our enemy when we encounter it. It seems to me none of us met this type of creature before so we will have to figure it out while we fight it.

Jayson accepts the signed job posting, folding and stashing it in a vest pocket. He looks at the speaking dwarf.
”We’d be happy to look into it for you. Can you describe the creatures that have been troubling you, and where you encountered them?”
He signals to Gor.
“Possible sledgin’ candidates, my aggressive friend.”

Quin/Orson stops swirling the stones in his palm and pulls out a torch from his pack. A couple quick strikes on his flint has it burning brightly.
