Quin/Orson remains his usual quiet self. He prepares for what is to come by loosening the throat of his rock pouch and drawing a dagger.
His footsteps make narry a sound as he moves into position behind their guides. Not one to trust easily, he continues the assessment of the pair which he had unconsciously begun as soon as they stepped through the break in the wall. Had the pair not been on the brink of discovering the troupe, Quin would have spent more time observing them before interacting. But life weaves its own tail, so using his new proximity to his advantage he takes a closer look at their gear. He looks for anything that might corroborate their story. He especially looks for potential weaknesses or anything he might exploit should the need arise.
Kosef, you don't recognise these dwarven figures but they don't look like nice people.
Gor, they respond "We can show you. It isn't far. We checked for traps and found none. Just a secret door which we can show you too. A collapsed room of rubble is all that was hiding behind it though."
Orsen/Quin, there is nothing to suggest they aren't archaeologists. And you do see evidence of the camp they mentioned.
They take you through the doors pointed out, and you see a short (15ft long) corridor, pinned open double doors at the far end, and a propped open secret door on the left wall (north). They are happy to walk as far as the next doors, but will not step foot in that room until they know it's safe.
- Hmm, secret door interesting. Wonder why would someone need that, and what was in this room. Fellas (addressing the dwarves) what is this place?
Biezdar was ready to head onto fight right away, but something tingled his tactical sense. He should ask as much as possible to know about the hostile environment. What if there are more secret chambers, and more attackers come when they are in the fray? Better be ready.

Jayson peers into the open, previously concealed chamber. Why did the architects engineer such a hidden room, and intention did the structure’s original master have in mind for it? With the ceiling collapsed into the room, one could only guess.
Jayson calls to the dwarves, “Sirs, if your team left each of these doorways ajar, how can we be certain the creature you observed on the altar has remained there?”
/Jayson keeps his eyes peeled for anything amiss./
Gor stops before entering the room, watching his friends stop and make a tactical assessment. He sighs, then kneels and opens his pack, pulling out two more torches. He lights both of them off the one he has already lit, and then throws one as close to the alter as he possibly can before holding the other out to whoever takes it first.
"Hard to sledge what I can't see." He says as he prepares to charge into the room.
Holding his own torch high and holding a couple of stones in the other hand, Orson/Quin follows the two fighters while maintaining a distance of about 10 ft back.
Gor walks boldly into the room, trying to get ahead of the others and draw out whatever is in there. He keeps the torch handy, in case it were to get the jump on him, while maintaining a death grip on his maul. He's prepared to drop his torch at any moment and start sledging as his eyes can the room.
"We kept an eye on the door, and we never saw anything leave. And every time we checked, it stayed by the altar." and sure enough you all see it. Jayson and Gor see a second one on the wall to the south (right). There are 4 pillars in the centre of the room, The room is 40ft by 25ft (doors half way along the 40ft wall). On the far side opposite the doors, (25ft away) is a recess, 20 by 10ft, with the altar and slime in.
Combat has started (and with it, the botting if people haven't responded in the 24 hours if it is your grouped turn.)
Combat order:
Bizedar, Kosef, Jayson
Slimes
Gor and Quin
You can act in any order within your group. If group 3 have both posted, group 1 don't have to wait for me to post unless it will change your turn. If you wait, it doesn't affect the 24 hours. That only started after my post. (effectively group 4, DM reaction)
Biezdar seeing the size of the monsters, he does not feels so eager to jump on them without a shield. He shouts:
"They are huge! Stay behind me. Let's try to lead them out to the light."
/As free action he looses the torch, and as an action he equips his shield and if there is place to back up and still be in the front rank he will, otherwise he stays front to protect others./

Both spells seem to take effect, both affecting Altar Slime. Though it doesn't seem massively bothered.
Both slimes move down to the floor and towards you all. Altar Slime ends its turn 15ft away. Wall Slime ends 10ft away and is now in clear line of sight. (distance is from the doorway. I've assumed Biezdar and Gor are in the doorway, everyone else behind. Corridor is 10ft wide so 2 per row)

Gor roars as the slimes slip their way...and his understanding of the plan seems to go out the window for the moment. He lunges forward and swings down hard with his maul, doing what he can to splatter the Wall Slime to pieces as he drops his torch and gives his swing both hands...
Quin/Orson holds his torch high providing as much light as possible. As He locks his gaze on the Altar slime he drops his right arm and rolls his wrist so his palm faces out. His right thumb deftly guides one of the polished and shaped stones from his palm up onto the side of his middle finger to nestle in the crook made by his index finger. He readies himself to hurl the projectile at the Alter slime as soon as it get within 5 feet of one of his companions.
(Quin casts Magic stone as a bonus action then takes his attack as a ready action. Trigger is when the Alter slime is within 5ft of any party member this includes when/if they attack. This will also trigger his sneak attack.)
"wait.../biezdar exclaims to Gor, but realized it is too late/ stay close to me or away from ooze"
Movement: move south to stand behind Gor. The way I see it I can stand behind Gor(as in relevance to the wall ooze) and possibly react with protection if needed and still have altar ooze in melee range if it goes for the corridor.
Action: dodge

Gor connects solidly, but much to his disappointment, there seems to be no blood or bones. It does feel just like hitting a living jelly.
Quin/Orsen, (and anyone it applies to in the future) don't wait for triggers to roll. Roll it with the ready action to save time.
Jayson, this time it doesn't seem to affect the Slime.
Bizedar, if I'm understanding correctly, you are not currently in melee with any Slime, but are 5ft from Gor who is 5ft from wall Slime who is 5ft from altar Slime, all in a line.

Seeing the slimes grouped together. Kosef moves forward, closes his eyes, and spreads out his hands. Invoking the light of Milil.
I want to try stepping into a position to cast Burning Hands (Dex Save DC14 or 8 Fire Damage).
I’ll then try to move to the other side of the slimes unless it will give them an opportunity attack. In which case I’ll just stand to the side of the fighters.

Biezdar, takes off his shield and mounts it on his back, then takes torch from Gor. (Flail in one hand, torch in off-hand)
- Thanks friend. Im with you on that standpoint.
Biezdar without his shield does not prepares to charge, but walks in rather cautiously trying to see his enemy before it attacks.

Kosef, recognising when a battle is about to take place, puts his pipe back in his coat pocket. He chants a small poem while holding his amulet.
”Beneath the sun’s bright light, May fortune favor thee in thy fight. In Milil’s embrace, stand tall, A blessing on thee, brave heart, in all.”
I cast Bless on Quinn, Gor and Biezdar. They can add d4s to their attack rolls and saving throws.
