*I know that I'm not the DM but doing some quick math I would estimate you would take about a minute to run 1/2 a mile with that roll*
*Ok I did a bit of research and I said way lower times than what is realistic, TheFriendlyArchFey, it would take you about 2 minutes and NoNamedndplayer, it would take you about 5-6 minutes*
Zania looks up at the dragon with surprise... maybe even a bit of awe... but she quickly recovers. She's content to let it fly by if it isn't causing any problems.

Before Avazandi went off running, he says to Zania,
”uh- Rawushi just ran off, I’m gonna go see what he’s up to. Don’t want him to anger that thing somehow or something. Maybe we should both go?” Without waiting for an answer, he darts off as I described before.
After Avazandi gets to the cliff where the Dragon is talking to Rawushi, he’s going to say to them,
”what are you doing?!? Why are you chasing a Dragon?!?” He tells them.
(I’m gonna use colored text now cause it looks cool)
"I'm talking to the dragon, seeing if it knows anything about the scroll we're looking for, apparently it's on this cliff right here, don't worry, they're not hostile."

“did you know it was going to be friendly? What if it wasn’t? It could have killed you! We should have at least talked about it first.”

*again I'm not the dm so this decision could be reversed but I would guess about 3 minutes to go 1/2 a mile if you're sprinting*
*its 6 seconds*
*My bad, I forgot the exact number sorry*
*its fine* :)

*wow, Avazandi is still pretty fast*
*I based the times off of average times for humans to run a mile, a 16 would pretty much be an elite runner while a 6 would be somebody out of shape.*
*yeah and also Avazandi has a higher walking speed than a normal human because he has the stats of a wood elf and he’s a monk.*

"Guess so," she mutters. Then she runs after them.

Billy finally arrived with the others, huffing and hands on knees.
"I... I'm going to have to research some spells for increasing my movement speed or something. If this is going to become a common theme...!"
“Let’s just hope that you don’t have to run away from monsters all too much. They would eat you.”
"They're right, the monsters very much would."
