You reminded me of something. I'm gonna DM a home game with my brother and his girlfriend, and she wanted to play a Kenku. I told her about your character and how adorable he is. She, sadly, didn't go with Kenku in the end! But there is always next campaign...

 OOC: Haha thanks! Well like you said, there'll be more opportunities. It's been interesting getting use to finding ways to have Gasp express himself without actually being able to talk.

I'll squawk out lots of strange things for him to imitate, don't worry =P

(Are Kenku only able to imitate recently heard words?Or can they build a sort of vocabulary over time ?)

I have a whole week off so in between turns it’s difficult to not bore you all to death with backstory ;) I’m tempted because I like this group, but I wanna move the story along. :)

(My work PC has been cut off from DNDBeyond so i  have to sneak it in on my mobile. adulting is so lame)

I have a small laptop I check Beyond on when im at work, but normally im logged in on my phone. Thus, why it appears im online all the time. But im not ;) Like maybe in Ashley’s case, i’m monitored at work so accessing beyond on my phone is easier. Combat, not so much. ;)

 The blast hits him but he's still forced to remain in place by Hatt's spell.

Brig Pirates:

Both of the pirates take a strike at Crispy and Ashley.

Attack: 12 Damage: 6 to Crispy

Attack: 15 Damage: 8 to Ashley

Both of them miss.

Ashley is up, then me! Party time!! 

Ashley tossed Crispy her blades and brandished them menacingly as Ashley enters the fray, behind her. The pirates attacked, but we glide out of the way of the blows, easily. Such amateurs.

"Nice slices boys, we're over here. Now you got TWO ladies to deal with. But, don't worry. I bite a little harder." she threatened.

Crispy lived for this stuff. Call it whatever you want, perhaps deep in her programming, but she offered to talk and be civil. Now someone was gonna eat crate wood. It was a language she spoke a little better. But when lives were in danger, you can bet your bottom dollar she would protect her new girlfriend, her companions up top, and save those crew members. 

ok, let's try this again. Ashley focuses her willpower into her spell this time instead of her charming personality and will Command the pirate who attacked her to SWIM!!!
