I don't have any issues with folks posting when they can.
As much as is possible, though, I will sort out those declared actions and then sum up the rounds with the actions being handled in init order.
Occasionally, there will be times where that gets weird.
Example: Player B announces a Fireball, Player A charges ... but for the sum-up ... Player A charged, and then Player B dropped a Fireball on the same area.
If the actions can happen, then for the most part, I will sum them up and post the results ... so be careful where yo drop Fireballs. :)
If the actions cannot logically happen, like if Player B attacks a foe, then Player A attacks a foe ... but then in the sum-up ... Player A acts first and the attack drops the foe ... so now Player B's action is not possible.
When stuff like that happens, I will do something that makes sense. That is, maybe have Player B attack a different foe or whatever.
On this next round, you can dedicate another action to reach the floor safely, or you may jump to the floor (If you opt to jump, it will take no action, but the PC must make a Dex save [DC10] to avoid landing prone).
@Kisarali, please make a Dex save [DC10] for Ichep.

Sounds great to me! It would definitely be funny if someone ran into a fireball XD I excited to see what happens next!
Works for me. Anyway I don't have a very deep knowledge about what spells what classes can get, but it seems that our "Friendly Fireball" threat is minimal.
No worries, the only threat to be avoided was perhaps landing prone.
Hey, one question regarding response typing - how do you get those fancy active links where you hover over and it shows what it is? Like you've done with prone.
@Bird94, after adjusting Yaudara's declared actions for the round, please make a Dex save [DC10].
Maybe we need to readjust again, then. :)
I don't want to jump down and risk fall damage, so if that means I'm out of combat for another round, then I'm out of combat for another round. I'm good with that, versus starting the fight half-dead from a fall. Or does this dex save fail just result in being prone?
Although, looking at the map, it seems like my best chance to engage an enemy is to keep climbing down, and maybe dash if I have to. Getting up from prone would take half my movement, and with +0 to Dex, it's a coin flip, so my preference would be to keep climbing down, and dash to engage if I have to.
I don't mind if folks use them, but the only thing I ask is that folks use the tooltips if/when the make sense.
Like, I don't need to see a tooltip that you are using a dagger, every single time that you use your dagger. So if there aren't really any mechanics that attention needs to be called to ... the tooltip is sort of extraneous.

I mean I will not abuse them, no worries. Probably will only make spell tooltips, so others doesn't have to look them up. If it's too much, just say and I won't.

Understood. You may not take the action to move safely and then also dash, but I take your meaning. That is, move safely and then attack next round.
Well, I was going to do my normal movement and then use dash as my action, but if Navigating the tree counts as my action, then I guess I'll end up short of the fight this round.
A: Take two rounds worth of actions to manage the tree safely without risk of failure.
B: Spend an action to make a Dexterity (Acrobatics) roll at DC10 to do it in one round (and risk falling)
C: A hybrid approach, after spending one action to do it safely, a final option was presented: spend a final action to reach the floor safely or jump clear without use of an action (Dex save required or land prone)
I don't mind which option gets used, and I don't mind if folks change their mind after they get a better idea of what is at stake.
The only line in the sand I have is if/when folks make a roll to determine an outcome ... then that is the path they are taking.
(There will be no ability, in other words, to roll — not like the result — and then alter the course of action)

Oh whoops. 2+2=4 Looks like Ichep faceplanted :D
Serves him right for thinking he's strong enough to hold himself up with one arm!

Ok, then it seems there are 2 rules:

I think you're low enough to just fall prone as the DM said previously.
It was Toadstool who tasted the gravel. A druid thing, no worries
It is called a 'tooltip.'
I saw this list on the first post of the PbP Rules and FAQ thread.
action - an action taken in combat - e.g. dodge, search and ready
condition - a condition afflicted upon a creature - e.g. restrained, poisoned and prone
item - a mundane item - e.g. torch, trident and backpack
magicItem - a magical item - e.g. Bag of Holding, Dust of Disappearance and Demon Armor
monster - a creature you can encounter - e.g. Banshee, Bandit and Unicorn
sense - a type of extra sense, whether magical or natural - e.g. darkvision, tremorsense and truesight
skill - this is used for professions - e.g. Persuasion, Stealth
spell - a magical spell - e.g. Mage Hand, Magic Missile and Abi-Dalzim’s Horrid Wilting
wprop - a property of a weapon - e.g. finesse, versatile and heavy
In order to use it the tooltip must be enclosed with brackets.
Like so: {condition}prone{/condition} <-- For this example, I used curly brackets so you could see the required format.
If I typed the exact same thing, but used brackets ... it would look like this: prone
Ok, if the downside is just being prone, I'll make the roll.

Thank's! Edited my response in IC chat so it's fancier.

Just tried the tooltip, it does make spells look fancier and I'm a big fan of colourful highlighting. Very useful for conditions too!
@Bird94, Understood. Your options were:
