As you suddenly announce your heretofore unnoticed presence immediately behind the diminutive artificer, her instinctive reaction is to shove you away.
Athletics: 15
"Yipes! What in tarnation?!"
Flawless, you suddenly find yourself airborne as you are forcefully shoved from the back of the wagon with what feels like the force of a charging bull. You fly back 15 feet to slam into the side of the deck, taking 5 bludgeoning damage from the impact.
With a "Yroewl" followed by an eventual "Ooff!", Night ends his one way trip the deck dazed and groaning for awhile. Whenever he does recover, rather than anger or fear, mute surprise gives way as pained chuckling escapes him. "Ohh~ That was... My, oh, my~ What kind of prey are you?"He asked absent-mindedly, yet his stare is intense and boarders on predator. Other than this, Night doesn't try testing his ability to stand as of yet.

"Well for starters, I ain't been no one's 'prey' since I was knee-high to a grasshopper," she responds with a cocky grin. "And for two, don't you know it's impolite to sneak up behind a lady when she's having a conversation?"
With that, she turns back to the others.
"Just bring them inside to wherever is big enough to distribute everything. I think Jhess mentioned the dining room as the most likely place."
As the chests get distributed, Viira casually picks up the chest that Night would have taken and with one hand easily sets it up on her shoulder before hopping down from the wagon.
OOC: Forgot about this, but Phillandros, Edgar, Vayn, and Hildi can each make a DC14 Perception check if they so choose, since they are each carrying one (or four) of the chests. Phillandros can make his check with advantage since he's carrying multiple chests.
Flawless will just kind of cock his head to the side, flickers his ears, and -- either consciously or not -- the tail freezes mid-motion at the statement. His brow soon knit together at the following question. But rather than ask his own, the Tabaxi glances away mouthing the word "prey?" while absently rubbing the sore spot.
And so, unless given a nudge or called out too, Flawless Night goes on another journey of the mental gymnastics sort. One destined to last well after the chests are fully unloaded if his increasingly distant look is anything to go by.

Phillandros and Hildi(since I just realized your passive Perception actually beats the DC already):
As you look more closely at the chests as you are carrying them inside, you notice there are engravings on each of their lids, and after a moment you realize that the engravings are made of stylized runes that spell out (in Common) the names of each of the Knights of Thunder, including Jhessana and Captain Dietrich.
Gimmur will carry the eighth chest, but all the goings-on have him excited and stressed, so he is being very quiet.
OOC: His Passive Perception is 14 as well, plus he would be gazing closely at the chest to keep from catching anyone's eye or attention at the moment.

"Oh, well thank you, Mister Dwarf," Viira says with a smile as Gimmur steps forward to accept the chest that she was carrying. You note that despite how easily she was able to carry it, it does have a rather hefty weight to it. "Arnskull, right? Jhess mentioned to me that you already have your own firearm?"
(OOC: That works then, Gimmur. You also make note of the details mentioned above.)
Gimmur nods nervously, not making eye contact. He smiles and keeps walking next to Viira, but doesn't say anything for a while. He struggles for several moments, then says, "Y-yes! Uncle Barakor let me help him make it."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Night comes around slowly but surely, and blinks owlishly back at Viira. After a moment's pause recognition don in his eyes. He doesn't so much as answer aloud, but bows instead, if awkwardly in his seat. Then, its back to his feet again, cracking and rubbing the soreness out of his body saying something in almost absent-minded fashion sylvan.
The pain disappears a second later, leaving him free to give the gnome a mix of a questioning and expectant look. As soon as an order (or the closest thing to it) is given, he move on wordlessly to follow them out, seeming for at least the time being back to normal.
Phillandros sits upon the floor in front of his case, tracing his etched name carved in to it with a claw and wondering what this means for his future.
Edgar walks up to the cart and takes the last crate Phillandros offers. "Im very excited to see what these hold, thank you Phillandros."
Edgar feels the wooden chest, " ooh, i wonder if this wood would make good weapon stock"

(So never mind that chest thing. XD)

Viira cocks an eyebrow in Night's direction.

"So what are in these crates?" Phillandros says setting them down in the dining room and makes a mental note to not surprise the gnome.

"Look....names..." and Phillandros will point out the runes on the cases and then hand out the cases he was carrying to their rightful owners.

"Well, you'll have to let me take a look at it at some point, preferably sooner rather than later, if I'm going to be making ammunition for you."
Viira pauses for a moment with a backwards glance towards Night.
"Hold that thought for now though," she tells Gimmur, "I'll be right back."
Wandering over to where Night is still sitting on the ground, Viira reaches over and shakes his shoulder.
"Hey, you didn't hit your head or something when I pushed ya, huh?"
OOC: Since you found my passive perception, you probably found my STR, but it's 10.
Hildigrim gets excited about the names on the boxes and begins looking for his own.
Vayn (Passive perception = 14) would also spot Lacasse written on one of the chests and will smile to himself in anticipation.

OOC: Well, dang, apparently I should have made that DC just a bit harder. I didn't realize that many of you had a high enough passive perception.
I'm going to hold off for a little bit on getting to the next part, to give Night a chance to respond to Viira before we get into the fun stuff.
