I'm already in one of your campaigns, but I guess I'll put an application in
Name: Jariath
Race: Elf (Eladrin)
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Age: 143
Class: Paladin
Background: Pirate
Short Bio and tell me what did you do?: As a member of the feykin elves, Jariath has had that hard balance between the survivors of humanoids, and the wilds of the fae. Jariath is a free spirit who wants to show others that you can thrive and be free as well. He will side with any who oppose anyone who wishes to restrict others' lives.
(I'm going for a dex-style paladin just to switch things up. If we could do with a strength-based character I can easy switch it. I just thought maybe a paladin with a rifle would be funny.)
Short Bio and tell me what did you do?: A wood elf by birth but a sailor for as long as he can remember, Hermenor has found job after job at merchant ships following the war. Mostly a deckhand at first, the elf has over the years picked up a few things here and there from those hired as muscle for such journeys. One temporary teacher in particular, a halfling lady name Theaclisia Braidsluck made quite an impression on Hermenor and for a few years he followed her in her many travels. Under her tutelage, Hermenor become more disciplined in his technique, and soon became hired security in his many jobs as opposed to deck scrubber. Lucky to avoid sky pirates attacks for most of his young years, once faced by such threat the first time, Hermenor did not stand a chance and went down in the first minutes of the struggle. Left for dead, he eventually found his way back to Aerovail with the other two survivors, none of which were Theaclisia. Not sure which pirate crew was responsible for their demise, Hermenor developed a grudge/vendetta against sky pirates in general, and has since taken jobs in merchant ships that he judges to be more likely to be targeted, just for the chance at revenge. In his search, Hermenor has lost his patience more than once, attacking people he was not sure were pirates to begin with, and even some merchant crews, slowly becoming muck like those he hunts. (If he needs to be imprisoned, we can say he has been captured for battery and assault of the general merchant populace).
Aidan had a young family in Aerovail, before cursed Tilted Day. As the city leveled and the dust settled, Aidan despaired to learn that none of his three children nor his wife survived. After weeks of mourning and heavy drinking, he vowed to oppose the leaders of the city who had allowed such a catastrophe to occur. They only called off the war to save their own skins. They cared nothing for the common souls who built their engines and powered their economies. Aidan abandoned his previous life and joined up with other malcontents in Aerovail's seedy underbelly, eventually joining a crew of smugglers working to ferry supplies between the various cities and earthbound communities in a bid for independence. Needless to say, this line of work was inherently risky. Now Aidan has found himself captured by agents of the very city he despises, bound for judgement and sentencing at the hands of those who cost him his family.
(Any changes that need to be made to better fit the setting are certainly possible.)

Hey there, the setting sounds awesome! And i've been dying to play something with guns to be honest...
Name: Gaèl Korrux
Race: Wood Elf
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Age: 24
Class: Ranger
Background: Archeologist
Short Bio and tell me what did you do: Gaèl grew up as the child of a human male, Jirah Kurrox, and an elfen women he never got to know. But that was no problem at all, because his dad was nothing but awesome. He knew an answer to every question Gaèl could think of. His old man was a strange guy to most of the other people, always on the edge, never happy to stay in one place and Gaèl definitely took after his father. For most of his life, his dad had been a treasure hunter for the elven society, always chasing after the golden nugget that could be found burried deep within the ruins on the ground. Gaèl been with him for most of the time, rather for all of the jobs he dared taking a little boy to, but since he had a rather unusual sense of risk and dangers, Gaèl wasnt stuck home in the city that often. Jirah had told him everything he knew and together with him also attempted to learn what he didnt. Together as a pair they'd made an unstoppable duo of hunters, but over the years Gaèl had started to feel a little restlessness. It was the typical rebellious thing a teenager would do, but in this type of a family it was of course a little more dangerous. Thus, to prove he was able to succeed alone and without the help of others, Gaèl had set 'sail', the moment his old man had finally allowed him to move on. While he was lacking experience, however, Gaèl had the great trait of curiousity, especially when it came to technology. He was mesmerized by every flying thing there was although it was absolutely commonplace, and he had always been fascinated by guns. But one of the features one might also call flaws was his tendency to take risks. Gaèl wouldn't be stopped easily, if a job was nearly suicidal but possible, he would try, and he surely wouldnt refrain from taking ethically rather questionable options. This very quality had brought him into a variety of interesting situations, of which the temporary travel with pirates was definitely one of the less odd or dangerous ones. The reason for him to be in chains right now was something most people would facepalm themselfs to unconsciousness for, to him it was simply unfortunate. The return from his last job hadnt been according to plan, his carriage already fuming at the start of the road. It was quite the miracle the airship made it into the docks safely, and the crew gathering to detain Gaèl had been quickly scattered by the expected explosion. Gaèl was able to use the chance and escape, but he got caught on his way out of town after delivering the item and was now to be hold responsible for his crimes. Crimes? Oh yes, he had appearantly amassed some small-scale nuissances as well, and now was the moment for him to responsibility. Or...hopefully not. (Its somewhat of an indiana jones concept)
Out of curiosity, should we be hearing anything about this soon? Or were replacements already chosen?
