Seeing the hobgoblins close ranks, he pulls a dart from somewhere in his gi and hurls it at the closest one.
I start running towards the big goblin shouting at my companions "Hey, someone else, come with me. We need to separate them. Fast" and then I move myself to the right of the pack thus allowing someone else to go left.
(BI (unlike DM inspriation) can be used after you see the roll. But typically before the DM tells you one way or another if the attack would otherwise hit)

- "Lizard Liar! Crush You." - Ogre growled and started moving towards Nadaar.
Thormund threw a dart right into a hobgoblin's shield, inflicting zero harm.
Borak does one swing against hobgoblin, but it was deflected. Hobgoblin didn't expect the second swing so fast and Borak smashed his head in half. (Hobgoblin is dead)
Arethal approached with an attack to another Hobgoblin, but he didn't even need to dodge, attack just wasn't there.
Kathleen moderately damages wolf with her arrow for 7 dmg.
OOC: bow attack is at disadvantage at close range, but let's keep your roll for this time.

I circle around the goblins while keeping at range and then use Lay On Hands on Nadaar. "Rise up my friend. Your life is worth more than a few slices of their swords"
I will use 4 points to heal him. How do I link lay on hands btw? I tried [spell] and [action] but it didn't work.

He then sends a glare at the Ogre, boldly ignoring the hobgoblin that just downed him.
"I wasn't lying, ya big galoot!"
He yells for his Vicious Mockery at the Ogre for 4 psychic damag-eo. (Wis Save: DC 13)
