"Yes, let's do this. Its long past time to start fighting back, for us at least, these folk seem to have been doing it for a while!" Nodding at each of the team Hrain embarks on a long, heart-warming story about a group with different backgrounds coming together to do good against all the odds. When he has finished aout ten minutes later the group feel energised and even more ready to tackle their foes.
OOC using Inspiring Leader feat so everyone in the party gets 12 temp hit points.
OOC: Awe come on, I want to hear the words of their fearless leader!!!
Moving down the tree after a hearty meal as the sunsets the party leaves with the group lead by the tortle, Abraham 'Abe' Seagreen. There are four other tortles, two half-elves, and the party working together. At a large oak disappearing into the thick canopy above them Abe pauses.
"At any point we get separated return to the temple on the other side. They will hide you until I can bring you back," he says motioning for all to move together through the shimmering glow emanating from the tree trunk!
On the other side the party enters in a nearly silent sanctuary of the temple of Meiliki. Candles illuminate a massive tree that a stone building has been built around. Abe moves through the temple then through a kitchen area where working together he and the three other tortles remove a heavy grate in the floor.
"Everyone below and to the right," Abe explains, "quickly now," he ushers the team ahead.
Stealth and perception please. There are orbs of light being lit that dance ahead and behind thw party in the sewer.
OOC: Marching order, sewer can hold two abreast and disappears to the right and left.

Pat attempts to move as quietly as possible (Stealth roll - 11) and surprises himself whilst also taking notice of what is going on around him (Perception roll - 11). He then says to Abraham "I'm happy in the second row or at the rear - whichever you think best!"
Moving down the sewer the refuse water up to most of the party's shins on most is nearly up to Folzi's knees! But for the occasional passage of a swimming rat nothing else seems amiss in the sewers but the extraction team itself! Moving left or north the party walks with a collective silence for nearly a hundred feet before Abe stops. The weatherbeaten tortle then points upward as tree roots can clearly be seen breaking into the sewer from above them.
"We're all heading up after a scout," Abe explains. "Any volunteers," he asks next looking around at your party in particular.
"Oh well in for a nib, in for a dragon, as they say" Pat comments as he looks up at the roots. He shifts his shield to his back, scabbards his sword and starts to climb the roots (Athletics check 19) and uses his arms and shoulders to pull himself up the roots.
"Hold up there, Padre." Folzi calls after the orc before he takes off up the roots. He spits on his hands and runs them together vigorously. "Just in case you need a bit of help looking around up there."
Climbing up the roots Pat manages to get to the top and lifts the grate free. Popping his head up through the grate he looks around... Stealth and perception please.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Did you see anything at all?"Folzi says as he steps near the roots. He begins the same routine of spitting on his hands and them rubbing them together, before wiping them on his chest. "Give me a bit of strength, huh?" he says looking above before climbing up to have a look.
"It's a storage room. Didn't suspect much but wanted to be sure," the turtle explains before ushering everyone through.
It take a little over five minutes tp get everyone through the grate. The tortles barely squeeze through but all make it with Abe leaving a female tortle in green robes with a staff to watch over the exit before pressing forward. Moving through the storage area the party soon realizes their in the street level of another building.
"This was the living quarters of the former magistrate. He had a much finer house built but the cells are through their," Abe explains gesturing a doorway ahead. "The sewers were blocked up years ago into the dungeons but there's another grate that bypasses that blockage ahead," he gestures to a doorway to the left of the room. "Quiet," he adds putting a figure to his lips as he slinks forward surprising agile for a tortle!
Stealths, please!

{Ooops - Sorry I got the red flag cos I edited in Folzi's guidance on my stealth roll and it keeps modifying the Perception roll)
The original result should read as follows-
Stealth 7 (as rolled) + 2 (first guidance roll) for a total of 9
Perception 9 (as rolled)
