The Dragonborn responds with a small laugh, though the Mage was a loudmouth a lot of what he said was interesting and honest. " Well, I doubt many are a fan of that unless they have very dark or strange interests. If it's a wall you need I suppose myself and the Barbarian ahead of all of us should be durable enough to survive without losing our own limbs in the process ".
He holds out a hand in greeting to shake with the storm Mages. " I believe I mentioned it before, but I am Ton'takk. My last name is a bit long so it can late until a later date when we are better than just strangers ". You can see on his limbs and what's visible of his face that his scaling is copper, an acidic dragon coloration. Some of his scales are chipped or cut through leaving scars in the muscle that imply he's dealt with many blades or blunted weapons before.
Sigfrid's face takes on a joyful expression, "You have, and I'm glad that you're a reasonable Dragon-man." Sigfrid takes Ton'takk's hand with a firm grip. "Say, what brings you this way in the world anyway?"
He leans back, bringing a hand to his chin and scratching it in thought. His eyes wander from the forests he's been keeping check on to the air. With a sigh, he replies. " I suppose.... just to travel to get a change of pace in my life. Right now I'm just looking for a town or fortress out in the world worth claiming my own and using to live in relaxation and strife less time would be my goal. Though, even I must admit that that will cost a lot of gold shilling and bar. For now... I suppose I'm a free-lance adventurer who will aid those with high coin provided the work isn't of cruel or evil nature ".
He looks down at the floor, then off in the direction they're headed to keep watch on the girl running farther ahead than she should be and looking at the goods they're transporting, weighing in his mind the likely hood that bandits will be drawn to them long before they reach the destined town.
Sigfrid smirks, "Certainly a noble goal for one such as yourself to undertake. I, on the other hand, am not so noble." he steeples his long pale fingers and places them on his chin. "I'll not give you the wrong idea, I'm no saint or savior. Just a wandering mage looking for coin and the pleasures that it can bring."
He leans sightly toward the Ton'takk, "Say, would you like to see a trick by chance?"
He looks at the Mage inquisitively. " A trick? . . . Hmm, sure. But after it's shown I need to continue my vigil. You are probably as aware as me that if Goblinsare in the closest town or two that bandits are aiming for the caravans such as ours. Only the rich or desperate would take such dangerous paths in a world like this ". He leans forwards, without getting close to watch the mages magic trick. Despite his calm method of speaking there's a shimmer of interest in his golden eyes.
Roslyn you don't notice anything out of the ordinary. You continue happily skipping along the road and fail to notice that you've moved ahead of the caravan by at least 80 feet. As you come to a certain point on the road you start feeling strange. Before you have time to work out what you're feeling you fall to the ground. You are now unconscious (not dead, not hurt).
Roslyn is so far ahead of the caravan that no one noticed her fall to the ground. However, the group soon realizes something is amiss when two goblins riding worgs come out of the woods. They make it to Roslyn before anyone has time to react because they were in the area of the woods directly adjacent to her. They bind her and tie her to the back of a Worg. They mount their worgs. And they begin riding ahead of the caravan as quickly as their worgs can take them.
Roslyn has been kidnapped by the goblins. The goblins are 130 feet ahead of the caravan.
The surprise round is over.
Roll for initiative. If you don't know how, [roll ]1d20 + init mod[/ roll]. Your init mod is on your character sheet. See an example: Ao's Init Mod.
Ao's roll might look like this (not rolling for them):
Init: 21
Please post your init roll. Roslyn won't post since she is currently unconscious.
Also indicate where your character is located in relation to the wagons on the following map: Simple Road Map
Example Location: B5
Each square is 5ft. That means the goblins are currently 26 squares ahead of the horse on C5.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: Initiative determines how quickly you are to react when danger occurs and you're able to make decisions. In this case, our Halfling is being taken by Goblins riding giant wolves. If you roll an 8 or less, you're tentative to do anything before you see someone else do something. If you roll a 12 or higher, you react almost instantly, ready to help in any way possible. Note: If you roll high, you don't have to go first, you can decide to wait until after someone else reacts first.)
For location on the DM's grid: Ao is at F9.
Ao's RP Initiative Roll: 14
Location: F9

Hearing the drum sound out, though not for him, Ton'takk looks towards the noise and away from the prestidigitized miniature Dragon. " Someone with range? Guess it's your time to shine magic man " he says to Sigfrid.
(OOC: This post is transitioning from the surprise round to round 1.)
Those of you who noticed the goblins tie Roslyn to the back of a Worg and attempt to escape with her also notice that the goblins and worgs come to a stop once they're about 150ft away (this is ending the surprise round). This seems strange to you. You assume that if you were in their place you'd continue trying to escape.
You see the following scene unfold.
Goblin 2
He just stares blankly ahead and does nothing as if in a daze.
Worg 1
After coming to a stop, he feels angry and confused. He sees the other Worg and decides whatever it is, it's that Worg's fault. He moves close to the other Worg and attacks.
Worg 2
He has come to a stop and does nothing.
Takes damage from the attack by Worg 1.
Goblin 1
As his Worg moves toward the other Worg to attack, he does everything in his power to make his Worg snap out of it. He is unsuccessful in his attempt to make his Worg come back to it's senses before the other worg is attacked.
The Dragonborn responds with a small laugh, though the Mage was a loudmouth a lot of what he said was interesting and honest.

Ao walks up 35ft, then casts Guiding Bolt on a Worg.
Guiding Bolt: 18
I'll add the Inspiration die too: 1
Total attack roll for Guiding Bolt: 17
Guiding Bolt Damage: 7 Radiant Damage
Which worg did you target?
DM | Storm King's Thunder
Whichever worg is closest.
The Worg to the right, the one carrying Roslyn, looks badly hurt now. It has been attacked twice.
The Worg seems to glitter with a mystical dim light. All attacks on the hurt Worg will be made with advantage until the end of Ao's next turn.

Ton'takk walks 30 feet forwards, being cautious.
He reaches into his inventory, and pulls out a Boomerang equipping it.
