Remember the blue nose mentioned us "joining in the feast", meaning they intended to eat us, and so Lhodis could be part of that feast. If so, he may still be alive behind that door somewhere. Markas intends to pursue to see if he can find the larder.
Pagan quickly moves after the fleeing Hobgoblins with his Shoto held low by his side as he runs forward. You all fear he will foolishly pursue the Hobgoblins alone and split the party, but he stops aside the door taking cover from any further arrow shots.
"We must follow them," Pagan says. "They will lead us back to the prisoners."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Pagan
Pagan slinks hurriedly after the retreating hobgoblins, his tail undulating behind him keeping his balance steady and true.
"We must follow them," he says. "They will lead us back to the prisoners."
As he closes on the open doorway, the fallen hobgoblin still laying prostrate across the threshold he sees the two remaining archers readying their bows as they back away. Pagan slides into the corner on the right side of the door out of their aim.
Javon
From the other side of the room Javon dashes passed the first rank of the party, through the magical entanglement, and up to the threshold of the doorway. His eyes widen as he sees the two hobgoblins with their bows aimed--and he catches site of a third shadowy figure far down the corridor beyond in the dim light.
Hobgoblins
The hobgoblins snarl at Pagan as he darts up to their position. The closest hobgoblin's frustration at Pagan's cover turns to delight as Javon frames himself nicely in the doorway. She sneers at Javon and shouts a command in Goblin, which can only mean "fire!" One, two, three arrows swoop toward Javon!
Hobgoblin Attack Rolls vs. AC 17: 141116 Damage: 4 + 3
Javon gasps in pain as two of the arrows strike true. The third arrow, had it struck, might have finished him.
Javon hears laughter from the hobgoblins as they pull further back down the dark passageway to the point where he can barely see them with his torchlight.
Without dashing, Amar, Brumdal, Markas, and Zerys can just make it beyond the difficult terrain created by the Entangle. Zerys can make it to the space just to Javon's left, the rest of you would be behind her, but through the grasping weeds.
Pagan can close to melee and attack any of the three hobgoblins in the passage, however all three of them would be able to attack him as well, which could be deadly for Pagan.
Javon can barely see the closest hobgoblin and therefore would have disadvantage on a bow attack. He could close to melee and attack that closest one, but he does not have enough movement to get to the others. (Also Javon is in bad shape after those two arrows struck him; he's down to 6 hit points.)
Zerys moves up to Javon's side. She momentarily can see all three hobgoblins with her darkvision, but then loses sight of them as she takes cover behind the door. They are not in range of her Produce Flame spell.
Although I think it will be in our best interest to wait and take a long rest before continuing our work, we may need to take the initiative and pursue the Hobgoblins to save the hostages, namely our merchant friend. These jerk ass Hobgoblins would be the ones to kill a hostage just because they are getting beat.
"Get out of the way, Jeremy," Pagan yells pulling the Fighter (Javon) out of the line of fire.
If they're fleeing we should let them do so as opposed to get all stung out in these caves. We'd be easy to over run if we become separated

Amar has a good point, you don't want to get spread out, but Markas is also recalling some key dialogue...
Meanwhile, the maps have been further improved thanks to Roll20:
Ah. Perhaps regroup on far side of the vines and the pursue down the hall.
Brumdal will move towards the far side of the room, following the hobgoblins and sticking with the party.
Amar will advance as far as possible with out dashing to pursue the hobgoblins. Zerys will follow a similar plan
Brumdal
Brumdal can make it as far as the edge of the Entangle spell effect ending his turn between Amar and Markas.
@Pagan, you are ahead of everyone. You are on the other side of the difficult terrain and are in bowshot range of the hobgoblins.

@Zerys, you're up!

Zerys
@Markas, you're up.
Markas will move as close to the door as he can.
@Zerys, you still have an action. Moving didn’t require a dash.
Markas
(If you do not want to dash, then you can end your turn at the edge of the magic weeds. Either way you are not under threat of attack.)
Amar
@Brumdal, you are up!

Amar thoroughly agrees. We'll need to push but not foolishly.
Brumdal agrees that we should pursue and find the captives. He will dash (as fast as dwarves dash, anyway) towards the rest of the party.
