Personality Traits: My friends know they can rely on me, no matter what.
Bonds: I’ll always remember my first ship
Flaws: Once someone questions my courage, I never back down no matter how dangerous the situation.
Backstory: Aerys was born for the sea. His father, a human navigator for a merchant ship, would take Aerys with him on voyages across the ocean. His mother, an elven seamstress, would often go against Aerys going out to sea, but after she would see the fire and the love of the ocean in Aerys' eyes, she couldn't say no. Aerys travelled with his father until he was around 16 years old. His father retired from navigating and urged his son to follow in his footsteps, to which Aerys happily obliged. He signed up to join a transport ship, the Memory, to sail across the ocean. The Memory was a remarkable ship, very fast and sailed smoothly. Over the span of 10 years, Aerys would work his way up from one of the crew to First Mate of the Memory. He had the respect of the entire crew and the captain. After a few easygoing voyages, Memory shipwrecked two days out from Aerys' home city. The last thing he remembers is sinking then waking up on the beach on a piece of driftwood seven miles out from the city. He managed to make his way home where his mother fixed him up and advised him to take a break from the sea and explore the land around him. Aerys reluctantly agreed and made his way to a local job board. There he found a notice from a Gundrun Rockseeker looking for someone to guard his caravan. Sure, why not? Aerys thought. Little did our hero know, he was about to embark on a voyage for the ages.
((I got rid of the chain mail starting equipment for studded leather. It made no sense for Aerys to have it since he only has 10 Strength and he needs 13 to wear it efficiently... so RIP chain mail.))
Marfaen! My almost favorite Wizard. Glad to see you again, let's hope we get accepted and it does better then last.
Thank you, I generally wouldn't put a character again that way, like I'm doing with Marfaen, but I had such a good start with him in my last try, that I couldn't stop myself. I really hope we can both enter in this one, I also really liked your barbarian, and his interaction with Marfaen was so fun to see. It's kinda of a close call, though, only three players are passing through in this campaign.
Yeah, I don't have high hopes. I been trying to play my Barbarian for a long time and can't catch a break. If it doesn't happen, I try the next one. Nothing wrong with using characters over, as long as you play them well and hopefully get a few laughs.
@fallenbov @pertuie didn't y'all try for the campaign where the DM had a goofy pic of googly-eyed Batman as an avatar? I go into that one but the dude didn't seem to have much time for us so I bailed before it began. I had work stuff come up but it's settled now so I'm trying to get into a new campaign.

Yep! They had school issues and had to drop the campaign. We barely got to do anything but walk down a hill in it, pity it died so fast. Might have been really fun.
That's the general gist he was giving me after I asked him about commitments etc.. I was given another class to teach but thankfully it got dropped for the semester due to lack of enrollment!

They said they signed up on sports and clubs and had no time for us. It was a shame but I don't get my hope up too high. You had a eberron rp didn't you? Is it well?
Not exactly! I used the Forgotten Realms pantheon for my homebrew. As I recall you had a hard time creating a character within my campaigns limits and I had several applicants that did just that. Sorry you're not having much luck around here. I honestly have only ever finished my own campaigns because the other DMs always drop out.

Even better!

Solution to that silly armor situation

If you want me to consider your character you will need to get rid of the magical items it would make you to overpowered.
There are a lot of good choices and I should have them by 12:00 am.
It is done
you still have magic items... I think you probably will have to swap them out with Common tier items I would assume.
Ok now I have remove every thing and equip my self with basic class stuff

I have decided to go with Slag, Marfaen, and Dell.
