Nif will take aim with his crossbow, intending to take down another zombie. If possible, he will target one that is engaged in combat, aiming to take advantage of its discussion.
"Just a few more."Vondal whispers as he lines up yet another shot. Taking care not to nick his compatriots, he makes his way over the barricade and fires at the closest undead(orange), if not already dispatched by another. "Say Adrom? The others scattered. Think they'll return?"He calls out to the hammer of mouradin.
Zander releases another mote of magical energy, this time at the (orange) zombie. A small flame erupts, burning away some dead flesh. Karl slams his warhammer into (red) zombie, bits of the creature breaking off with a sickening crunch. Seeing the (orange) zombie about to attack one of his comrades, Nif takes aim with his crossbow, firing a bolt into the creature. (DM rollz: 5) The projectile flies through the neck of the zombie, and the head flies off as the body falls to the ground limp.
"Just a few more." Vondal whispers as he lines up yet another shot. Taking care not to nick his compatriots, he makes his way over the barricade (O8) and fires at the (black) undead. The arrow takes off the creature's arm. "Say Adrom? The others scattered. Think they'll return?" He calls out to the hammer of Moradin.
Undaunted, the (green) zombie takes another swing at Karl. (slam attack: 9, damage: 2 bludgeoning damage) The dwarf blocks the attack with his shield. The (red) zombie follows suit. (slam attack: 12, damage: 5 bludgeoning damage) The dwarf uses his warhammer to block the second blow.
"They could, eventually," replies Adrom, slamming his glowing warhammer down on the (red) zombie. It seems to shrink under the blow and sway a little. "But with their master dead, I am not sure about it," he says with a grunt, bringing the weapon down a second time and squashing the creature into a mount of undead yuck.
The (black) zombie takes a swing at the cleric (slam attack: 7, damage: 5 bludgeoning damage), but it swings just as Adrom is making his second attack, and the zombie's arm flies over his head.
Round 11: Zander, Karl, Nif, Vondal, Green, Adrom, Black (Adrom, your Divine Favor spell has ended ... as has Turn Undead)
Zander, you're up! Followed by Karl, Nif and Vondal.
Pre-Post(on the off chance the remaining 2 aren't downed):
"Alright! Keep your eyes peeled fer the rest then! Just in case!."Vondal calls out as he charges up another shot. Despite the temptation to move into melee now that the threat was largely dealt with, the gold dwarf held his ground, took his time aiming, and made sure to aim for the head of zombie.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
A wary Vondal takes a few moments more of looking around for any more zombies. Seeing in time the truth, a sigh of relief slips out as bow and arrows are put away in short order. "Vell. That settles zhat for now."He says, though the certainty dies away as he looks over to the tent. Wordlessly, Vondal makes his way over, taking out a battleaxe for good measure, and cautiously pokes his head inside for a look around.
"Someone check'im as well. Make sure there no other nasty surprise waiting in case of his death."The gold dwarf conscious offhandedly along the way.
Vondal, you stick your head through the flaps of the colorful tent and look around. By the lamp light, you can see a cot, a writing desk and chair, supplies, and a chest.
Adrom, you climb up on one of the crumbling walls and look south. You don't see any sign of the zombies you scattered.
"Uhh... Make sure to take any pouches and the like off'em then. Don't want some strange artifact to explode in face when touched flame."Vondal warns from the tent flap. "'nd Brother Nif. Come here. May need your assistance. It looks as if he had chest here, but you have better eyes than mine."The gold gives a weak grin, and then turns back to enter fully to lover the writing desk, supplies and even under the cot, axe put away during the process.
Now that worry of an ally in hiding had passed, it was time to see truly just /what/ the man was up to so far out.

Vondal, you inspect the writing desk and find a couple sheets of parchment lying on top. One sheet has lists of numbers upon numbers. The other seems to be a random list of questions. None of it seems any help in your quest. It seems to be some kind of exercise in organizing his thoughts. He appears to have been trying to uncover secrets here at the "Old Owl Well," as he refers to it. How long ago was it built? Who built it? What was its purpose? What became of it? Those kinds of questions, with the answers just being more questions. You do notice he was considering seeking the banshee's assistance. The supplies were clearly meant to allow the red-robed figure to stay here another couple tendays. Looking under the cot, you find nothing.
