Blood Scales Game

**Yeah, i figure Mo and Sayre and whoever else wanted would have a little brainstorm session, and that was just some of Mo's ideas**

(It isnt... great... but if you squint it looks fine...)

The mayor listens intently at the ideas being passed around... pulling out a small notebook and taking notes.

(Is sayre inside or outside? I thought she went out to get chip and gus and jim.. or did she pull them inside?)

Thimbol makes his way out, locking the door again if possible before heading to the inn around back.

Thimbol: The town is relatively safe.

5 Minutes Later...

*Thimbol breaks into the Mayor's office and starts making forgeries, but stops and looks to the screen*

Thimbol: What? I didn't say safe from me.

Navek jerks awake in his seat and starts rubbing his face. "I'mma'wake. What I missed?" He asks of the Mayor, the wolves, and probably Lora if she is still around too. As that dons on him, he shoots a glare at any nearby beverage that happened to be close at hand before rubbing his face. "Getting too old." He whispers to himself. "So, what I missed Mr. Mayor? Think I conked out around the time Mr. Thimbol stepped out."

(Hahaha 🤣)

The mayor would look towards the goliath, looking away from his notebook and taking a sip of tea. "we were discussing ways to protect the town, improve the inn, and expand the town guard I believe."

OOC: Sayre went outside to find the guards not to follow Thimbol, is my point.

"We should start a regular rotation of watch. Also find the best area to build a watchtower," Sayre explains as Mo suggested. Going back into the inn. "Navek, Mayor Higgins we're building a watchtower," she adds with a curt nod. "Let's find the best spot for it," she exclaims.

 you are fine, I just didn't know if you were standing out side talking with them of if everyone is stilling around some tables inside the inn discussing

The mayor will look towards Sayre, "well we have the watch building on top of the jail... would you want to add a watch tower on top of that building, or were you thinking this building, or a whole new building constructed somewhere else?" The mayor will ask, making notes on his note pad.

Navek nods solemnly. "Make sense. And I take it Ms. Sayre's earlier attempt didn't go so well. Hm... At the very least we can't go without recruiting at least two to three more, and putting them through a crash course at least." Navek rubs his chin. "Establish some check points too. Some expanded patrol routes." He carries on mostly muttering to himself, but loudly enough to be overheard. 

"Sounds like their figuring that one out, Mr. Mayor. Probably should join them. Tho', I'm going to see if the Kip kid would mind putting up my flyers." Navek narrows his eyes at the wolf not following Lora around. He then goes over, kneels face to face with the wolf, and cups his furry mug. "Hm... I don't know why, but you look like a Winston to me."

The wolf sits in front of the goliath, giving him a quick lick and awaiting instructions.

"Our little buddy is taking a long time to get that wood, and of course as usual he has left without a buddy... I assume he's already dead. Should we go look for his corpse?"

Coming through the door, Thimbol is carrying a stick. "How embarrassing. I couldn't find much wood. We should probably actually cut some. "

"Or get some from the lumberyard. Probably want to head there anyways soon to find out they can even cover the work order for another watch tower." Navek comments after giving Thimbol a funny look. 

"No need," Sayre replies. "I'll stick with the buddy system Mo," she adds smiling at him then looking to the Mayor. "We should post someone atop the jail 24 hours in 8 hour shifts," she addresses the Mayor. "A watchtower from thr best point. Is the jail the best point," she asks him.  Before he can answer she adds to Navek. "As for adding to the guard your right Navek I found one person which I need to see gets equipment. No would you come with to tge jail? We can make sure Jim gets understands what he's getting himself into," she explains next.

"Yep. Definitely a Winston. Come, boy. Your with me for the day." He pats the wolf on the head one more time as he got back to his feet. "I want to at least look into the harbor. Make sure noone there got caught up in there escape. Maybe get this later sailed upstream while I'm at it. Thimbol, if you wish to come..." He trails off there, leaving things up to the halfling. 

Thimbol gives Navek a funny look back, "Are we hoping for some trail? I'm pretty sure the trail leads to Stormhammer, but I'm up for some reconnaissance if we want to keep tip toeing around. 

(So Sayre and Mo are working with the recruits and equipping Jim with gear while Thimbol and Navek are taking a wolf and trying follow the trail of the bloodscales?)
