Flynn you walk out a bit more trying to take in as much as possible. There's some stairs to the east leading down, as well as what looks like a tunnel exiting the room to the north.
At this point Wex is in the room with Flynn, having climbed down. He is going nowhere near the chest, it just begs to be trapped, and Frulam Mondath (assuming she is still here and did not leave with the rest of the army, given her robes and maps/papers are still here) is still unaccounted for. He will indicate Flynn should scout the exits to the room.

Flynn, you step out trying to keep to the shadows while still keeping an eye out for anything and everything. You don't get very far however before you hear a deep, grating voice, speak to you."Ahhhh, I was wondering if you would actually come down this way. I'm so glad you did. But wait......There must be more of you, no? Surely not one man took out all of our Dragonclaw's above." A figure emerges from the darkness to the east walking up the stairs. It takes a moment for you to get a solid look Flynn. You see a tail, scales...blue scales....you know this figure Flynn....This is the half-dragon, the same one that fought Sevrn in Greenest. He walks out into the the room.
He stops in the middle, you're a little unsure due to his physiology, but you think he's smirking at your comment."Well then! Come on down and I shall give you a first hand account."
He matches your steps Flynn, albeit a tad slower, following you back towards the rest of the group. "My motivation comes from our Queen, good sir." He says this with that predatory smirk on his snout.
Is Wex hidden during this exchange? I was under the impression that Wex would be visible at this point. Wex is going to assume nothing.
Wex will mutter some dark words under his breath, using his Hexblade's Curse to single out the half-dragon. Curiously, the words come out in Draconic. "Fell power of the dark blade, this is our enemy, feed on him, fell him, feed us..." At the same time, Wex draws his longsword and step out of the shadows to begin circling the creature, trying to flank it, but making no attempt to hide.

The half-dragon stops about 30ish feet away from you Flynn as you backed up near the entrance. Wex's strange mutterings can be heard and are finished just as he steps into full view pointing at the half-dragon, sending his Hexwarrior's curse upon him. The smile on his snout grows wider. He looks at Wex then looks up at Flynn and says "Langdedrosa, is what I am called. Now then, I knew there had to be more of you." His stature does shift slightly as Wex begins walking out trying to circle him, his attention more focused on Wex with his sword out, but still glancing towards Flynn. "Will this be an honorable fight, between us? or will this be a "bring a friend" fight? Either way, I'm sure we will have fun."
"No fight needed at all," Wex says, loudly enough for an attentive Sevrn to hear. "Tell us what the Cult is doing with all the gold, and where, then surrender yourself to us. Simple." He will keep moving, but will Ready a strike with his sword if the half-dragon attacks.

You see, you've already killed some of my men up there, I couldn't possibly let you walk out of here without a small fight." He makes a gesture with his right hand and two human men step out of the shadows from the tunnel exit opposite where he entered. They begin to make there way towards him, spreading out a bit as they near him.
Wex will pause in his movement, then quickly draw a symbol in the air, while speaking words beneath his breath, the symbol briefly flares as black smoke. "Fingers? Big guy? Party is starting without you!"
Action: cast Blade Ward on himself this round, in preparation to attack next round.

Whenever a target that fails this saving throw makes an attack roll or a saving throw before the spell ends, the target must roll a d4 and subtract the number rolled from the attack roll or saving throw.
and Bonus Action gives inspiration to Wex As a bonus action, a creature within 60 ft. that can hear you gains an inspiration die (1d6). For 10 minutes, the creature can add it to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw.
