"No just the dream pastries," she replies nervously. As you bend down to inspect the cart she begins to push it away."Well I can see that you are not truly interested in buying my dream pastries. Well good night my child." She begins to push the cart away.
“Please, halt. We don’t want to hurt you.” Mituna laces her words with divine magic, commanding the woman to stop (WIS save, DC 13). She then moves to follow the older woman and looks into the cart to find the source of the sound.
Arbrist is curious, as well as relieved. "Ma'am, there was no reason to hide your child from us, I assure you, that neither he, nor yourself will be harmed from us in any way". Then, as if remembering, he continues: "He was hidden before you even saw us. Why were you hiding him? What is going on here?"
Mituna walks over to the child and attempts to comfort him. “What were your plans with this boy? Surely he wouldn’t be in such a fright if he was yours...”
"Well, it's not my fault his parents didn't have the money for these delicious dream pastries. They practically signed him over to me when they didn't have the money. By the parents own willingness to give him up, he is mine." A sickly smile comes over her face. However her tone does change rather quickly. "Fine take the boy or leave him. I care not. Now leave me be. You folks aren't even worth the trouble of fighting." She cackles to herself and forces her cart past the party. She quickly makes her way down the road, turns a corner and vanishes into the increasingly dense fog that has started rolling in.
The boy is visibly shaken and frighten. Tears are rolling down his cheek. Looking at Perzival, he says, "Thank you for rescuing me."He looks around for a brief moment."Yeah, my house is that way."Despite his scared demeanor, he seems to trust you. He points off in the direction of his house and starts to make his way toward it.
Arbrist, annoyed that he didn't have the time to express his irritation at the woman (since he had first assumed she was a nice lady, then he thought she was protecting the boy somehow), now lunges to stop the boy, all the while trying to calm him down: "Don't run away, goddamit, that turtle is a friend, and a nice one too".
As the boy runs off into the fog、you all see the silhouette of two、of similar size and shape of the boy、 beings standing next to each other. One appears taller than the other. The sounds of crying are coming from their direction.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Arbrist puts on his nicest, most pleasant voice:
"Hello, I am Arbrist and these are my friends. We are here to help, so please, do not be afraid, we will harm no one. Come, talk to us, tell us what ails you".

'No...nothing is wrong," her voice shakes. She looks around nervously and tries to get away from the party while pushing her cart.

Arbrist goes around her and stands so that the cart cannot be moved without running him over. He turns to her and says, as calmingly as possible:
"Ma'am, we are strangers here, we need no trouble, nor do we seek to trouble others. We just want to talk, please, humor us and don't be alarmed".
With frustration and panic in her eyes、she stops her cart and opens a hatch. A small boy crawls out. He is scared and shaking from fright.

"This is not your child!" Perzival says. "Explain or we will be forced to use violent action!"

Mituna stares after the woman for a second before turning to the young boy. ”Who’s your parents, kid? Can you take us to your home?”
