As you approach, the taller one shushes the smaller one. The fog clears a bit and you notice that they are children, a boy and a girl. After shushing the boy, the girl turns to you and says, “There’s a monster in our house!” She then points to a tall brick row house that has seen better days. Its windows are dark. It has a gated portico on the ground floor, and the rusty gate is slightly ajar. The houses on either side are abandoned, their windows and doors boarded up.
The girl looks at Arbrist and says, "My name is Rosavalda and this is my brother Thornbolt. We don't know where our parents are, though they may be trapped in the basement with the monster." Thornbolt sniffles a bit and hugs his stuff doll closer to him."You can call us Rose and Thorn for short if you want, we came out to look for help."the sister adds.
“That is truly unfortunate. We’ll help you with your monster problem. It should give glory to Kord, and will save you and your family. Are you all with me?”
The children point you in the direction of their house. As you approach you see a three-story row-house with an attic. The grounds are unkempt and the outside has seen better days. You see houses next to it dark and boarded up, abandoned by their former residents. You also notice, the closer you get to it, a dense fog starts to form around your party and the house. it obscures everything in view except for your party and the house.
Arbrist is curious, so he remains with the children and asks more questions: "Have you asked anyone else for help? Where are your neighbors? Any relatives? And what are your parents' names, so that we could ask around, if anyone else knows about this monster of theirs?"
The girl looks up at Arbrist and says, "We don't know anyone that can help. Hardly anyone passes by this way anymore. We don't know where the neighbors went. They've been gone for so long." The look in her eyes is one of sincerity. "Our parents name's are Elisabeth and Gustav. We also have a baby brother, Walter, he's upstairs in the nursery."
Arbrist, satisfied, thanks the children: "Thank you for the information, we will try to help your family to our best ability". With this, he rejoins the group. "They seem to have an infant in the house as well. I believe we should first attempt to ensure his safety".
As you walk up to the house, you see the front entrance. A wrought-iron gate with hinges on one side and a lock on the other fills the archway of a stone portico.
As you knock on the gate, it swings freely open with a screech of the hinges. You see two lamps, unlit flanking a set of oaken doors that lead into the house.
Mituna opens the front door and steps in. Hanging on the south wall of the foyer is a shield emblazoned with a coat-of-arms, flanked by framed portraits of stony-faced aristocrats. Mahogany-framed double doors leading from the foyer to further into the house are set with panes of stained glass.
Perzival doesn't notice anything significant about the portraits.
Arbrist:
You start to see similarities between the people in the portraits. You come to the conclusion that they are all related to each other. You recognize similarities between them and the children. You conclude they are members of the same familes, possibly ancestors.

"We don't know what it looks like, but we can hear it down in our basement." The girl says.
Arbrist greets the children: "Hello there, little ones, what are your names? Why are you outside, what happened to your parents?"

Arbrist goes ahead and knocks on the gate. If he is not answered, he will shout "Anybody Home?!"

Mituna strides forwards, taking the lead with her weapon and shield ready
