What is everyone using to track their player stats? Obviously I can use pen and paper, but a digital version will make it much easier to track. Has anyone created a home brew race/class for this campaign here on beyond?
I’m using a pdf character sheet from a different site. PM me if you want details.

If nobody has any objections, perhaps we can begin the game with seven?
I should mention that we could be cycling through players throughout the game. When one character is permanently crippled or killed, that player may wish to continue the game with a new character, or we could introduce a new player into the campaign.
This is just a half-formed idea I have which might make playing with a party of weak mortals less impossible.
Your parties primary goal is to defend your world from the horrors that seek to corrupt it. After that, you are free to create goals and ideals to suit your character!
Hey guys, I'm the 8th guy. I'm working on my character sheet now. Please forgive me if something looks off, it's been a year since my last campaign and I'm a bit rusty at the moment, but I'm a quick learner and can adjust on the fly. I'll do my best to have my sheet up tonight, worst case scenario, it's up after church tomorrow.

Personality:
John is a good hearted person who loves to seek new challenges. He is very kind and respectful towards those he sees as allies or as neutral, but will show no mercy to those he considers enemies, even being known to go into a deep rage when pushed to his breaking point. He tends to prefer to see the good in people but is not a complete fool, as he will definitely keep his guard up if someone seems suspicious to him. However, despite all this, he tends to be the definition of “socially awkward” as he was forced to live a sheltered life (which will be further explained in his backstory), so despite his attempt to make conversation, he can occasionally fall flat on his face. He has a deep personal attachment for his bow (again, will be explained in backstory), and treats it as his most valuable possession. He tends to be humbled and respectful, but also knows how to have fun.
Backstory:
When John was an infant, he and his family came into this new world as immigrants, as his family seeked asylum to avoid the war-torn land he once lived in. Sadly, John’s mother was killed crossing the border, so John’s father Rhyn was forced to raise John as a single father. As an immigrant family, John and his father faced persecution from the locals, and as such, John was forced to be homeschooled and raised at home for the majority of his life. However, on John’s 18th birthday, his entire life changed. You see, Rhyn was known as “Segador de Almas” (Reaper of Souls) in his former land, as he was the military’s top archer. His abandonment of his former nation caused the nation to send their top assassins to bring John and Rhyn back: Dead OR Alive. On John’s 18th birthday, the assailants broke down the family’s door, and proceeded to go after Rhyn. Rhyn managed to take down the assailants, but at a cost. Prior to taking out the final assassin, he suffered a sword strike to the chest, and used his last dose of energy to protect John by killing the final assassin. With his last dying breath, he told John, “You will be the one to bring honor to our family. Make your mother and myself proud, and bring glory to this hell-ridden world”.
Simulate 5 years later. John has taken his father’s bow (Which he has nicknamed “Piercing Justice”) and trained endlessly to bring hope to the world. Now, his story truly begins………….
I gotta say, I’m so happy to find a text based D&D Campaign. I live in a home where I have to be quiet, so not having to talk in this game is a blessing

Let's do this.
I think the cycling idea is a good one, and it can be fun to figure out how to write the new character in and the old out.

I agree to just the seven of us.
