Yes. The satchel is just a component pouch. When you reach into it, you always grab what you're looking for. The rest is narrative freedom. Nothing else magical about it.
Beegred would happily accept a Druid component pouch.
He can finally cast Goodberry. That means food (berries) and water (from Narstin) will be covered during the trip, although some foraging will still be done. (Derendil would want meat to eat, and not just a magic berry.)

You are all standing on the Circle of Hunter's melding mound. Sovereign Basidia and all other myconids have left, asking you to keep your distance as it fears becoming infected by whatever Skameros, Derendil and Jimjar have contracted. You are surrounded by the fungi forest with a large pond/lake to the north.
Sovereign Basidia had provided you with directions to a supply cache where you could stock up as well as an exit point from the grove near that cache. Both are near the Circle of Explorer's mound, to the south.
I suspect we'll head to the cache and then head out of the grove - but where to after that - no idea - sounds like maybe Blingdenstone to visit the gnomes?
To Skameros and Rodolfo, Blingdenstone is the only lead you know of. But Beegred and Narstin will know about the Kuo-Toa city of Sloobludop, with Shuushar as a possible contact there. They also know that Gracklstugh is an industrious city that makes and sells arms and armor, including to the surface races. That's where Buppido was from and he constantly promised that the path to the surface would be known by someone in that city and he could get that information (take that as canon now, even though I didn't roleplay Buppido much).
Of course, there's also Menzoberranzan. Surely plenty of drow there know how to get to the surface.

Most of us were heading towards Blingdenstone, with a detour to drop off Stool. (And Sarith wanted to go to this place with Stool, but turning into a spore servant makes him unreliable, I guess.)
Everyone wanted to avoid the Kuo-Toa. And Buppido being a psycho made the group reluctant to go to Gracklstugh.
If Blingdenstone turns out to be a bad choice, not sure where else to go.

Yah, pretty sure after being prisoners of a group of drow, Menzoberranzan probably isn't our first choice :P. Since i don't remember the rudimentary map(s) we saw earlier, do we have any idea which might be closest and which are further away?

I think Bling is closest from our current spot (even though it will be days of hiking). That was part of the reason we were willing to make a detour for Stool.

Rodolfo doesn't know these things, but what are the reasons to go to the farther away place than closer one?
Well I believe that Rodolfo (like Skameros) has only heard reference to Blingdenstone and none of the others (I don't even think the map is known to anyone other than the original characters who started this game) so unless Beegred or Narstin speak up about locations (other than what Quasimodal has pointed out above) then I don't think Rodolfo (the character) is aware of the map or the other locations.
Jimjar and Eldeth will explain (and confirm what each are saying) that the Duergar are not against slavery. It would take a strong show of will to avoid being considered as potential slaves. Pragmatic to a fault, the Duergar wouldn't be interested in starting a conflict with the Drow either, so if they discover you are escaped slaves and Drow are searching for you, they may simply apprehend you and hand you over should the Drow come asking.
Assuming Blingdenstone is the agreed upon destination, you have to get from the Circle of Hunter's mound to the Circle of Explorer's mound.
Now, Beegred can't be lost because of his favored terrain, so navigation is not an issue. The question I have is, are you trying to avoid the local fauna and battles, or going straight and deal with what attacks?
Kerrec - the satchel was the component pouch? So there was a box of stuff (all non-magical) and a satchel that was a component pouch that was magical?
I guess I just confused myself with "satchel" = "box" there :)

Oh, and do you take a long rest first?
Is this a 'safe' place to rest of any kind - because Skameros could use either to get HP's back.
