Bree thinks a moment, then pipes up. "So what are they doing out there? What exactly is in the citadel?" She rests her elbows on the table. "If they're missing, and are seasoned adventurers, I can only assume there's some nasty things out there. 125 gp for a couple of people, or rings, is hardly worth our lives."
Evan, first a bit concerned by Ivor's outburst, then towards his comrades and Kerowyn: " I am compelled by my druidic circle to investigate the strange events in the region. Your children's missing party may be connected. I accept your request. "
"Because they were young and foolish, trained in the ways of combat and clearing out some feral wolves gave them a will to do more in the world, make it better." She bites her lip as it quivers, tears flowing slowly down her youthfully deceiving face. (OOG If you know of it, think Aes Sedai from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time.) "And yes, the Citadel is home to a tribe of goblins. But they have not really caused us any problems, they even sell us a piece of magical fruit every midsummer. I fear, something else may be at play here, but what I do not know."
She continues, "625 GP, double if they are both returned safely, salvage rights to the Citadel, I think that is more than fair. Also, I run the General Goods store in town, I am willing to give your group a 5% discount on goods and services. That's all I can offer. Though I am sure Priestess Corkie can help assist you on your way as well."
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

"500 gold for a few days work? This is what I need to get back on my feet and retire.", Erabor thinks to himself. "We'll get your children back lady. Don't you worry about it.", he turns towards Bree, "You seem uneasy all of a sudden. Afraid of a little darkness and creepy crawlies?"
"A month past, friend. That's how long it's been. And thank you, Dragonborn. Your noble lineage precedes you."

Bree laughs, the smile returning to her lips. "Me, scared? Hardly!" She winked at Erabor. "I just want to make sure we're prepared. If seasoned adventurers are missing, this isn't something I take lightly."
She turned to the lady. "We'll find them. Which direction do we head?"
"The fruit heals any disease or other ailments. And if you go outside of town and take the Old Road it will lead you into the ravine that leads to the Citadel." She passes along the information you asked for and then says, "Thank you again, for your help."

Bree finishes her wine in one huge gulp, and slams the mug on the table, with a wink and a smile. She gathers her lyre, crawls back onto the table she was performing on earlier and proclaims loudly, "Ladies and gentlemen!" She pauses, gathering attention, and gives a halfling in the crowd a wink. "My friends and I must go now. But fret not! We shall return, and I promise you, I shall give you a performance you will never forget!"
She then gets quiet, motioning the crowd to gather closer to hear her. "I don't know how long this mission will take. I cannot say when I will be back. You had better check in here, at the Ol' Boar Inn, each and every day, to see if I'm here!" She laughs and jumps down from the table, gathering her things and laughing to herself. She heads toward the door, blowing kisses, waving, and winking at various patrons.
You make your way outside and the sun is high in the sky signifying midday. You see the buildings around town, the village Jail, the General Store, the Village Hall, the Blacksmith, and the Shrine to Pelor. Outside the Shrine tending some flowery bushes is a small female gnome with bright gold color hair and shining robes. The blacksmith is hard at work outside his forge, pounding away on a heated piece of metal and half-elf constable appears to be sleeping outside on the jail in a large wooden rocking chair.

Bree bows. "Are you the priestess here? Priestess Corkie? We are in need of some guidance." Bree motions over her shoulder. "My friends and I have been hired to find Talgen and Sahrwyn. We've been told Ser Bradford was accompanying them?"
"Ah, yes, child. Sad, sad. Ser Bradford is a valiant man, strong and with a powerful sword. I was saddened to hear they did not return. The four brave souls are prayed for nightly, Pelor bless their souls, whatever realm they are in. Sad, sad." she says. "And yes, I am Priestess Dem Nackle, my friends and the village call me Corkie. What guidance would you like to receive? A blessing from Pelor?" She says with wide eyes and a smile.

"Goblins!!!" Ivor grips the edge of the table harder than normal, a dark shadow crosses his face.
"Nothing good comes from Goblins......." he shakes his head sullenly

Ivor collects his maul from next to the table, tosses is over his shoulder, bows to Lady Hucrele and follows after Bree out the door.

Evan makes his farewell to Kerowyn, then toward his comrades: " Should we check this paladin's shrine for more information? ".
"We should go talk to the priestess, maybe she can give is more information." Bree paused for a moment, thinking. "Or help us in other ways."
