"Aye, I do, I say. It's best I leave that to her." He says grimly. "The Citadel ain't for the faint of heart, I say...no, its best to leave some things where they are. But they weren't the only ones seeking it, I remember a man, I say, maybe 13 summers back, he asked questions that filled those tykes minds with wonder, i say."
As he finished speaking the door of the Inn opens and the boy returns.
"Da', she says she is closing up shop and will be here shortly. She has the darkness in her eyes, that sadness you speak of, Da'." The young lad says to his father behind the bar.

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

Evan barely takes a sip of wine, having hard time to enjoy. He keeps an eye on his comrades, when suddenly he diverts his attention on what Garon has to say.
Since there seems to be nothing to do before the lady gets here, Erabor settles down at the bar and nurses a glass of wine. All this merryment is still new for him. But isn't this what he wants with life? He smiles back at Bree and takes a sip of his drink.
Erabor doesn't get the joke. He replies, "I would be happy once we get going, all this sitting around and waiting gets on my nerves. I need something concrete to crush. Once I know what that is, you'll see the grin of madness."
Finally getting a smile out of Erabor, Bree grins to herself. She nearly spits out her wine when she hears Ivor's joke, and leans on Erabor. "He meant your nose, friend," she said, running a finger down the length of his face. She had discovered in the short time traveling with this group, that the dragonborn didn't understand jokes. It was now her sole purpose in life to make him laugh. She just needed to figure out how.
"We have nothing to do but prepare ourselves for the journey ahead. The lady isn't here yet, we don't know what we're doing, so why not relax? It's no good going into battle all stressed out! Besides, we're just looking for a couple of kids. It could be as simple as finding them and escorting them back! We could be back here again this time tomorrow!" She spun around in her seat, leaning her back confidently against the bar. "They probably just got lost."
"Aye, there have been some disturbances around here, I say. We have to be wary around here, I say, at night." He looks around the room and leans in close to Ivor, "Some things aren't right to talk about out loud, I say. Cattle farmers don't graze their stock too far afield these days. They're frightened, I say. We all are. Stories of new monsters that maraud the night. Aye, from time to time, cattle and people who have gone alone at night have been found dead the next day. Needle-like wounds all over their body, I say. No one has been able to see what does this evil acts, nor do the creatures leave a discernable trail. Better safe indoors then out there under the moon, I say."
He pours himself a drink, a dark bottle behind the bar and slings it back. His face scrounges up as if he bit the sourest of lemons.
"And no little miss, I say. They weren't little ones. They were trained adventurers, such as yourself. Lady Hucrele will be able to say more, I say. But they were friends." Garon says grimly.
As he finishes his sentence the Ol' Boar Inn's doors open again and in walks a woman, with a young face but gray-haired enough for you to know she's in her twilight years. She walks up to the bar and says, "Garon, thank you." She looks to the smorgasbord of a group and says, "Please, come sit with me. We have much to discuss and I fear the worst."
"Aye, Kerowyn, I say that table is ready over there," Garon says.
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

Bree grins at Ivor, but before she can say anything more, the lady arrives. Bree follows her to a table, bringing along the chair she's been sitting in. "My lady," she said, bowing. "Please, tell us of these troubles Garon speaks of."
"Butter with their tail? Humans don't have tails. How does one churn butter with tails anyway?", Erabor is confused by Ivor's idiom. "Making fun of my snout, eh? Well it's gonna save your lives one of these days, then you'll know why it is so long. I can be happy when I wish, but I prefer some coin to back up that happiness.", he smirks at Bree.
"Thank you for coming," Kerowyn says as everyone makes their way around the table. "I will get straight to the point, my children were trained adventurers based out of Oakhurst. They were just so sure they could clear out the Sunless Citadel and make the area safer. Talgen, my son, was the leader of the group, and my daughter Sahrwyn is a trained wizard. They have been missing for so long and I fear the worst." She pauses and sheds a small tear, wiping it away before she continues, "We are willing to grant you salvage rights to the Citadel if you can find and return my children. Or at least their gold signet rings that they each wear, it matches this," Her hand outstretches and she shows you her ring, a gold band and their family insignia on the top of the ring and an eternity band of green gemstones around it. "Do this, and I will pay handsomely. 125 GP per ring, per member of your group. If you bring them back in good shape and sound mind, I will double the reward."

Ivor puts his hand on the table and looks at the rest of those assembled.
"Aye, you've got my help Lady Hucrele. I'll find yer children or at least what happened to them. I know what its like to lose a child, I wish that upon no one. How long have they been gone?"
"Yes, Ser Bradford, a paladin of Pelor traveled with them. He was based out of the Shrine here in Oakhurst, run by Priestess Corkie." She says before continuing, "I am sure she will grant you healing if you so need it. I know she is invested in seeing Ser Bradford returned home as well, as am I, but my children are my main concern."

OOG (sorry for the absence I was in sleep mode)
Since there seems to be nothing to do before the lady gets here, Erabor settles down at the bar and nurses a glass of wine. All this merryment is still new for him. But isn't this what he wants with life? He smiles back at Bree and takes a sip of his drink.
Ivor wanders back to the bar and takes the stool next to Erabor.
"Why the long face my friend?" he chuckles at his snoot joke and turns to Garon
"Anything else strange happening around here lately other than the disappearance of the party we're here to investigate?"
Ivor finishes off his glass.

Ivor pats Erabor on the shoulder
"Soon enough my friend I'm sure you'll have more than enough beasties to crush, until then we await our hosts arrival so we can hear her story."
(OOG - is there perhaps a dart board, or some other like target on the wall we could perhaps have a friendly knife throwing contest while we wait?)

A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
Evan toward Bree: "I hope you are right. But, for every minute we waste, the odds to find those kids will not be in our favour"
(OOG Good morning, adventurers!)

"They've probably had a bit much to drink, met a fair lass or two and are laid up somewhere for a few days making butter with one's tail!"
He winks at Bree.
