Zust will move to be next to one of the kobolds with the Faire Fire, promptly attempting to stab at it with his rapier. "You shall suffer for your insults cretin!"

Crow sees the kobold lunging toward Strife and looks for an opening to stab into the evil creature with his dagger. Attack: 16 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Kaneda rushes towards the grouping of Kobolds, one of them gets passed the group and heads towards the cart, but it seems that some of the others are doing their part and taking care of it. He sees his target, another one of the kobolds that are covered in fairy fire, he crashes his shield up against the beast.
"You're mine! I hope that your maker feels this!" He shouted as he pushed off the kobold with his shield and slashed horizontally upwards at the beast.
Attack (Advantage with Faerie Fire): 18
Damage: 10
Critical: 6
Savage Attack: 1
(Not sure what was going on, but was showing an error before, but it seems to be working fine now. Also new to how half-orcs work with crits, so if this is now how it works then just take the last damage roll off.)
While the battle raged on, Cora took a moment of self reflection.
MILLENIA AGO
When I was born, the name for what I was did not exist. In my mortal lifetime, people called me many things, most of them hurtful. "Crispy" was the name I held on to the longest since before what is known as the "modern age". My mother loved me, and my father hated me. I was born long ago in a time when the world was simpler, yet.. far more dangerous – where magic and miracles were common, and where unspeakable evil things lived and walked the world. What I was back then was something that lived in the light and the dark, always going back and forth between it, never finding stability. I was many things: “abused”, “investigator”, “hero”, “criminal”, “warlord”, “tyrant”, ”friend”, “queen”, and “lover” play across my memories like a summer breeze going through my hair.
I used to be a Special Forces agent from a city called Waterdeep. My entire life was nothing but pain, frustration, nightmares, and hauntings. Deep in my programming, I’m flawed. I’m mentally broken, and unrepairable. I made many mistakes in my past life and because of the people I’ve known and the deals I’ve made during that time, I’ve lived longer than anyone ever should. None of this should even be possible. Today, I have memories and tales that would fill thousands of books.
Back home, I keep very detailed notes of select memories to make sure I would never forget them. On the walls of my basement are countless paintings and other framed pictures of people and places I’ve known in my extended lifetime. One of the most important memories that I’ve documented is the reason why I’m even alive today. One specific enormous painting I have on one of my walls is a beautiful redheaded woman in her late 20s. That was Nia Redfallow. I was deeply in love her in a time lost long ago. Nia's mother was a member of the Hells, and back then I had so many problems I didn’t know how to solve and didn't know what else to do. I made a choice that would effect my life forever.
I made a deal with Hell, and since then I have been their pawn to do their bidding. I am their agent of death. They transformed me that wasn't exactly human, but not yet demonic. Travelling from world to world, I slowly pay back my debt in return for two thousand years of life.
This is one of those stories.

Cora manuevered around the kobolds looking for a weak spot to hit. When the timing was right, she would strike. She hated being brought down to this power level, but the Will of The Fourth Layer was not debatable. "Nice shot, Starling." She held up a thumbs up to the Elf.
"Ahhh! You ratfûčqìńg imp!" Strife cries out both in pain as the kobold's blade bores into her thigh, and in alarm at the speed and agility of her diminutive foe. She tries to sustain her focus despite the wound.

[OOC: Oopsy! I saw three damage and glossed right over the to hit roll! Well, that's okay - it's more heroic when you prevail in spite of your wounds, right? So let's just let that go and exact extreme vengeance upon the critter. Sorry, this is both my first 5E game and first PBP game. I will get the hang of it. That save was a very tragic waste of a natural 20, alas.]
...As Crow solidifies his footing after the failed opportunity attack, he notices these things happening in his peripheral, trying to get his footing together enough to act.
[@Crispy, I am hoping people just had to work today. And I know right... I have another game going that started to wane and no one has been in for a few days and a few days more. No bueno.]
It makes me sad cuz, one, we got off to an amazing start, and two, now Cherri’s gonna kick me in the face for dragging her into yet another meager campaign. ;)
(Same here. I joined this one because the Hoard of the Dragon Queen campaign I joined orginally from 6 party members down to three in a few days due to a lack of posting and then we were lucky if the dm posted once or twice every week before he disappeared. We never got past what happened right after this very same fight.)
