It's some kind of giant frog, probably the size of a person, or a horse. It's a little unusual due to the low air and cold that hugs the mountain and it's caves, it could be a mount of some kind. Or a source of food, from secretions, to egg clusters, to butchering them. Regardless, the cold should keep them fairly docile. Although you've heard of frogs that can swallow a person whole.
Down the corridor (to 3) (Perception 17)
There's a number of goblin voices. As you pause and listen, there's more than 5. Less then 10. Not all of them are talking but you can hear them moving around. Some are talking about nonsense. Who's cleaning the latriene. Who's on food duty. Where are the others who were suppose to be feeding the wolves? They discuss going and searching for them, but, it seems like they're not wanting to go out right now due to some giant spiders that are in these caves.

Lafetha tells the group, "guys stay on high alert. Something doesn't feel right about this place. I can't tell if anyone is following us, but I have a good feeling that we might be approached by something soon."
Sim relays all of the info to the others in regards to the frogs and the goblins and the spiders.

It seems the spiders are using the door as some kind of trap. Looking up, you don't see anything directly above or behind you. But there are several slits that a large spider could slip through into whatever smaller network of tunnels that surround the cave.

Yaalin, shivers as she feels eyes upon her but her natural curiosity overpowers it (for now) reaching a claw out experimentally she scrapes some of the webbings from the makeshift door inspecting it for more information on its creator
After lafetha notices the spider web blocking the entrance she suggests to Abigail, " maybe you should stealth down path 3and we head towards the goblins?". "Seems like a better bet than spiders," as she shutters.
You take some of the webs, but it's hard to tell if they're fresh or have been there awhile.

You look at the web, but aren't able to gather too much more information. You're not entirely sure if there are even any beyond the 'door,' but there could be.
Abigail, leading the group away from the possible spiders, heads further down the corridor. As she's maneuvering around, she trips and stumbles across some of the uneven rocks that make up the cave floor. Luckily, her cat-like grace keeps her upright - simply bouncing around on one foot with a stubbed toe.
When she turns, she finds herself looking down into the large main chamber of what seems to be a barracks. Nine other goblin faces turn and see her, before letting out some kind of shout in goblin. Grabbing their weapons, the nine goblins begin to charge the door and head to fight with Abigail. Some, keeping weapons sheathed, jump on to the walls; their hooked hands and feet enabling them to climb in a spider like fashion. One goblin, clearly someone of higher rank, grabs a wooden shield that seems incredibly well made with some kind of carving on the front, before heading into the fray amidst the others.
The sudden silence, followed by the unified shouting of goblins echos down the hall. Sim, you hear them shout "intruder!!!!!!" and then the sounds of feet rushing. Even though you can't see Abigail outside the light of Diadochi, the surprise has been lost.
Round 1 (Start)
Setup: Abigail has been caught right in front of the doorway. She's 40 feet away from her teammates who are down the tunnel, and about 15 feet away from a horde of charging goblins.
Diadochi says "yes, I know we're trespassing but we're here to overcome the evil that's oppressing you... Oh never mind" he will attack the nearest goblin.

Two goblins stay by their commander. Three goblins run along the walls, dashing along the walls as they rush Diadochi and his little ball of light (provokes Attack of Opportunity from Abigail) Three goblins rush to Abigail, swarming and slashing from all sides.

She lashes out at one of the goblins attempting to run past her and then attempts to connect with a goblin in front of her, but mostly she is just letting her body react through her blades as she blocks and parries in an attempt to regain her composure.
