I for one need some way to boil bandages, and a place to set down a mortar and pestle for poultices and so on. At least one sleeping roll should also be kept dry, in case we’ve got a casualty to deal with. Heaven forbid we get more, but if necessary we can use their bedrolls then. A set of oil lamps to illuminate the workspace, and maybe a spare flint and steel close by, to light the lamps”.
As he goes through this list, he starts to arrange a little niche towards the rock face, setting it up to serve as a triage point. Looking at Kalahari, he then adds: “You seemed curious about me at the camp- anything you wanna ask me about?”

The snow is thick enough that none of you can seen any other creatures than yourselves out in this storm. Fortunately, this also means that no other creatures can see you. An hour passes with nothing of note happening, until you come upon a small cluster of ice crystals, seeming to have fallen down from a tree branch above, but the air grows colder around you as you approach them.
Ganathor signals the group to stop and walks towards the ice crystal, carefully stepping through the snow to make sure he has sure footing, and will tap the crystals with one of his handaxes (Unless the arcana check tells him it's extremely dangerous/harmful).
(Although it appears the arcana check will tell him nothing)

Wraith moves forward to better observe what Ganathor has found. Wraith mumbles under his breath about the inhuman cold & pulls his cloak tighter about him.

As Kenley and Xerlax examine the area around the tree, Guthric recalls something one of his tribe elders told him while teaching him the ways of the tundra. "Be wary of ice clusters, young hunter. Angry spirits reside within them and may be prone to taking their anger out on you." As Ganathor and Wraith move closer, one of the ice shards twitches ever so slightly, before bursting forth from the cluster, revealing itself to be an ice mephit!
Ice Mephit uses its surprise round to exhale its Frost Breath! Ganathor and Wraith must make a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or take 7cold damage, or half as much on a successful save.
Wraith throws himself forward in a roll in an attempt to evade the shards of ice in the attack.

Ending his roll out of the area; but not quickly enough to avoid the full force of the icy shards. Wraith points his hand at the Ice Mephit & smiles. "May you now know the fires of Hell."

Wraith's body is briefly outlined in a shroud of eerie flames, his eyes burn with an emerald light, & his pale hair flutters in a supernatural wind. A lance of emerald energy flies from his hand to strike the mephit.
