Scupper will stay mid-marching order and suggest that we take the closest one first.
Work 'em in order. That said ifn' there about the same distance on the Triboar, then let's hit the orcs where it hurts. Feckin' orc raiders are thick as pigshite and half as useful.
Scupper would like to remove the leather armor but keep it with supplies if Soodi is comin' along. Not sure how often we'll rest but Mage Armor is 8 hours...but if that Magic Glass Staff is unlimited charges of Mage Armor, we could use that on folks without armor during long spates of travel (leaving casters to activate in emergencies).
Scupper, the directions you've received to Old Owl Well and Wyvern Tor start from the ruined village of Conyberry, which lies directly on the Triboar Trail. Dekhan's instructions to the banshee also begin there, so that seems a reasonable destination.

You set off for real in the morning. It's now the height of spring; the green is intense, as you walk down the path leading to the Triboar Trail. After a few hours you pass the spot where you last saw Asher, and you move on. There are flocks of migrating birds, perhaps swallows, heading north now that the worst of the cold is gone. The sky is the clearest blue, and the sun warm. It's a good day to begin your journey.
Though you are out of the hills now, the land is still uneven; you have about an hour to go before you hit the Triboar Trail and turn east.
Strix, you've travelled this path quite recently, and you know that there's a potential ambush spot up ahead. You approach carefully, and from a distance you see movement, a figure in shadow crouching behind a rock with a clear line of sight to any passing traveller.
Yes, the party is all together. Strix is a little ahead, and Dekhan leads the main party with Zoria close behind, Scupper and Incantis are together, with Varinth on Soodi bringing up the rear. Varinth has the staff.

Scupper signals the group to stop, struggles a little to find the words and is then quite surprised to see a 5ft cube appear depicting the road ahead, the ambush point and a big red arrow pointing at where he saw the figure. He hefts his spear and motions to Scupper to come ambush the ambusher with him.
(Is Scupper still a sneaky throat cutter or is he too squishy to risk?)
OOC: Gosh you guys get busy while I'm sleeping. Stupid spherical planet with it's silly time zones.
Before push off: After their romp through the boxes, Vaz will show Strix his brand new jerkin with embroidered flames but thank him for thinking of him. They may do this again when winter hits and Vaz is in need of a cloak!
Just before push off: Anybody carrying too much, we can lob it on Miss Soodi. She's strong as she is beautiful. When Scupper asks him about the Staff, Varinth takes it in his hands and feels it's weight. He then puts an ear to the staff and taps it sharply with a finger. And, what looks to be an afterthought, he gives the staff a good sniff. So she comes with two spells; Shield, which I can only cast on myself, and Mage Armour, which I'm happy to cast on you but know I only have one charge left and it last the good part of a day.Varinth will tap Scupper with the Staff whenever he asks him to do so.
When they get to the ambush: Varinth is fast asleep on the back of Soodi.
Varinth, your Staff of Defense regains charges 1d6+4 each day at sunrise, and is now fully recharged with 10 charges. It costs only one charge to cast [spell[Mage Armor[/spell], though it is only useful on those not wearing armour. You can cast on multiple targets, one after the other.
Please keep track of the number of charges, here in the main thread, e.g. 'Varinth casts shield with the staff of defense (8/10)' and remember to roll for recharges at dawn.

(That was a minor illusion btw)
I'm actually kind of sad that it was a minor illusion lol I imagined it as Strix saw that, but it wasn't actually there haha

Scupper shakes off his surprise and looks at the plan. He will activate Mage Armor (evidently had confusion on this and would like to retcon back to leather...this spell wont work well for me - switch to Sleep?) and stealth up with Strix...but not close enough to give him away if things go sour.
Scupper and Strix, you edge closer around the trees and bushes to the left of the path. Ahead of you are crouching two orcs, their eyes fixed on the trail, but the other direction than you are coming. You come up to thirty feet of them, and they are oblivious. You see a shape moving behind a rock on the other side of the path; there's at least one more orc there. None react to you; as far as you can tell, you're completely undetected.
In my defense I was merely specifying a marching order...?

To Coynberry it is then. We might even want to make camp there if all destinations stem from it.
Judging from the map (https://www.dndbeyond.com/campaigns/328984) it will take you two days travelling at a normal speed to reach Conyberry.

Is Incantus with us? He has the glass magic staff, right?

Scupper uses hand signals to subgsug they both move to quickly dispatch the lone orc on the right and begins to sneak that way in either case...
