OOC: Fuuuuuuuck! I forgot to click Post Reply before I went to bed. This has been sitting on my computer all night. So sorry guys.
Varinth, forgetting about his shield in the ruckus, is hit hit badly in the thigh which he inexplicably brought up to defend himself. The pain sends a searing gush of white hot rage through Vaz's body and he finds himself abandoning his staff and sense as he jumps onto Goblin 2 with reckless fervour. He puts both hands around it's neck and attempts to choke and throttle it by banging it's head against the floor.
Varinth, you land upon the goblin and have it throughly grappled.
(Not sure why this has the red banner, I must have copied and pasted something wrong. Anyway, the Goblin's grapple resist failed against Varinth's nat 20.)

(OOC: A couple of rolls were corrupted in the above post, so I will re-roll for transparency.)
Sildar, seeing Goblin 2 grappled, moves away, taking the Goblin's attack of opportunity:
Attack: 16 Damage: 4
He then makes attacks with his longsword against Goblin 4 and/or Goblin 3.
Attack: 6 Damage: 5 Attack: 16 Damage: 5
The goblin misses Sildar as he moves away towards the archers. Sildar's first blow chops the goblin's shortbow in two, and his second chops Goblin 4 in two.
Dekhan’s eyes glow the deep blue grey of the sky before a storm at sea as he lifts and then brings Talon down at the unnervingly lucky goblin in front of him. Attack: 6 Damage: 7
((holy fricking mother of gosh dang Oedipal urging got down sat on a bench dang it all to heck sassafrassing FRIIIIIIIIIIICK.))
Dekhan, Talon feels heavy in your hand as you swing against what are apparently the two safest goblins in Cragmaw Castle, at least for the next few seconds. The one you attacked snarls at you; the other just laughs.

Strix watches Varinth trying to make sweet love to G2 for a second, gauges the timing and tries to put the end of his staff through the hapless Greeny's face

then with hits him again or runs to support Sildar
Strix, your staff knocks Goblin 2's head back into Varinth's chest, though the sorcerer takes no damage, the goblin is quite dead.
You race over towards Goblin 3 and make a strike; the goblin raises his bow to attempt to deflect the blow, but fails. Though the punch connects and hurts, Goblin 3 does not seem too badly wounded. Yet.

Ye should know that we occasionally let gobos live when they're being cooperative but ye should also know that time is passing much like yer numbers. Give up or die ye wee shites!
Incantis figures there's a lot of cooks in the turret already, but contacts Dekhan's mind, filling it with the inspiring memory of his and Strix' most recent flute performance. He then focuses his mind on the archer goblin. "You should listen to my friend, he's the only one here your size. Poor little greenskin, nowhere to run but the soup kettle."
DC13 WIS on vicious mockery or 3 damage & disadvantage on next attack.

The goblin drops its weapon, falls to its knees, and holds its hands up. Don't kill. Don't kill. I give up. It looks up imploringly at Strix.
B: Varinth is up. You can see only one goblin, though it is apparently trying to surrender, but you can hear the sound of battle through the door where Dekhan went.
Still full of crackling fury, Varinth dives through the door where he can hear the battle continues. On seeing the goblins he Produce Flame in his right palm and then, to all intents and purposes, tries to make the nearest goblin eat it.
rrrRRRRAAAAAAAAAAGH!!
Grapple? : 16
To Hit? : 13
Damage: 7
The spell says you can throw the flame but doesn't mention hitting a foe with it so not sure what to roll.
The spell is a ranged attack, so you can attack at melee range as though you were hitting with hit directly. It would be a ranged attack at disadvantage, and for the purposes of keeping the game moving, I'll make the second roll for you - hope that's okay: 7. That's a 7 + 4 = 11 which is a miss.
No grapple element, I think. Grapple only imposed the grappled condition, which prevents movement but doesn't do much else. It certainly doesn't impede the creature's attacks, or help attacks on that creature.
Varinth, you attempt to jam the flame into the goblin's mouth, but it's slippery - it dodges out of the way; you move forward and try to hit it with the fire again, but it dodges back. You can't seem to connect. However, the two goblins have now realised that Dekhan is not alone, and are looking less happy than before.
E: Sildar
Sildar backs away, letting Strix and the others deal with the surrendering goblin. He looks around for something to douse the flames on the burning table, but finds nothing.
Dekhan raises his sword once again trying to refocus his faith and determination. For the light! He exclaims as he brings it down at g12 onice again. Attack: 10 Damage: 8
((I wish I had a physical d20 to retire after these rolls.))
With Strix having either convinced the goblin to wet itself or killed it, Scupper smiles and stomps over to the door behind Vaz and Dekhan.
What the hells is takin ye so long ye bastards? There a feckin' ogre in there or is Dekhan's mum giving you grief fer not wipin' yer feet at the door?
Upon seeing two goblins, Scupper smacks himself in the face.
Two gobos?! All this over two feckin' gobos?! Let me slow one down for ye. They're jumping about like a drunk wit an open bar. Makin' me dizzy
Scupper casts Frostbite on one of the gobos (You cause numbing frost to form on one creature that you can see within range. The target must make a Constitution saving throw)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Strix, the goblin looks at you apprehensively. (It will act on its turn)
It's really not Dekhan's day. The goblins are at least nervous at the sight of the sorcerer before them, but the goblin you attack dodges your blade effortlessly.
Goblin 12's CON save: 1
Scupper, your spell hits; please roll 1d6 damage for your Frostbite spell.
