Mok nods as he keeps his hands close to his weapons. "Mok is ready to hunt down the kobolds. They should be put to the sword before anyone else is kade to suffer their attacks."

Leaving Sigvaldi well provisioned and sheltered, you continue down the road. The clear weather holds and you make good progress over the next several hours.
The sun is setting when you see the first sign of trouble on the horizon. A large column of dark smoke is rising up in the north. You can only assume it’s the village.
You estimate that the smoke is about 4 or 5 miles away. You think you could reach the village before sundown, but you would need to push yourselves. (In game terms it would be a forced march). Otherwise you could continue at a normal pace and arrive after dark, or you could find a place to camp and continue when the sun rises.
(Or you are free to do anything else you guys can think of.)

Minda says, "I would not be able to sleep without knowing the state of village." She points up, "The sky is clear and the moon will be almost full, we can hunt in the night."
"It is not wise to rush forward if we must rest. Mok would rather not be caught while we are to exhausted to put up a proper fight." The hiblon ranger says as he stares at the smoke above them, his hands moving to rest on the hilts of his swords.

Aphil says "I understand that we may want to rest, but if there are any survivors left, we may not have such time to spare. I say we go on, but it may not hurt to try to be quiet."
(to your question, basically yes. and if the others agree with Aphils approach, Stealth roll: 8 )
(Yeah take it slow and rest if we absolutely have to.)
Mok nods and crouches slightly, not having to dip down as far as the other party members who are any where from two to four feet taller then his small height of 3 feet. "Mok will scout ahead if it is needed."
You gather yourselves and continue down the road, wondering what you will find. After two hours of walking, the sun disappears leaving you in darkness. For Minda and Aphil it makes things difficult since you cannot see in the dark.
You have to trust that your companions know where they are going. Though he’s a human, Mike seems to be getting by just fine with no light.
After the sun goes down, a light fog starts to roll in off of the bay. You’ve been walking for nearly another hour when Mok… you spot something moving ahead. A patch of fog blows out of the way and you see another group off to the left side of the road in the woods.
There are three small creatures you recognize as Kobolds and a larger humanoid creature with green skin. He has long shaggy hair, pointed ears, and wicked looking claws.
Because of the fog, your groups managed to get within 60ft of each other before noticing each other and no one was stealthing (very well… sorry Aphil), so no one is surprised.
The kobolds start swinging their slings and the other creature hefts a javelin with a war cry.
I need initiative!

(Nope that 20 and that max damage are legit! We'll go with your first rolls.)
Mike You run a few steps forward and sling a blast at the tall green skinned raider. He curses you as it strikes him right in the face.
The Raider will return your attack with one of his own, hurling his javelin at you. 23 for 10 points of piercing damage.
(... whaaaat. It's crit city.) He will then draw his spear and move 30ft forward.
That brings us to the Kobolds. They haven't decided who is the most dangerous yet, so I'm going to randomly determine who they fire at. Mike (1), Minda (2), Mok (3), Aphil (4), and Valya (5). 331 Because they are using slings and you all are more then 30ft away, these attacks have disadvantage.
Attack 1 vs Mok:12Attack 2 vs Mok:5.
Both of the stones aimed at Mok sail past and thump into the nearby bushes. (Forgot the disadvantage but they still miss)
Sling attack vs Mike14 which is going to hit for 4 bludgeoning damage.
That brings us to Minda's turn. Mike just got pummeled pretty bad and is barely on his feet. The raider with the spear is 30ft away from you. The kobolds are 60ft away from you reloading their slings.
(Anyone who wants to can make a Nature or History check to identify the species of the raider now that he's closer and you can see him more clearly.)
Minda slips the maul out of its harness, takes a good practiced hold of it, nods to the others (bonus action rage), walks up to the raider and just flat out attempts a wood chopping motion with the maul.
Minda, giving yourself over to your battle rage, you charge the raider and swing your maul. He sidesteps your mighty blow, his focus now on you instead of the wounded Mike.
That brings us to Mok's turn. The tall raider is facing off against Minda about 30ft from you. The Kobolds are still 60ft away.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mok will cast Hunters Mark as bonus action and put it on the raider before he readies his Longbow and let's an arrow fly tiwards the raider. If there is something nearby that he can use as cover he will move behind it.
Longbow: Attack: 22 Damage: 7
Hunters Mark: 4

So Mike is up first. These four hostile creatures are currently 60ft away from you, what would you like to do?

I'll move 20ft closer and cast eldrich blast on the most threatening looking of them
Attack: 25 Damage: 14
Edits:
1 - I'll add a second rooll here because I'm not sure that was correctly made, i find it weird to have two 20's in a row + max dmg die
Attack: 11 Damage: 13
2 - not sure that went well either gona split as usal for me, the dmg die wasn't rolled somehow
Attack 16 Damage 6
