Our story begins as you leave the coastal city of Huldremose on your way North.
What business you have and where exactly you are going is up to you. Perhaps you plan to veer West into the mountain holdings of both Men and Dwarves, or East toward the plains where great bands of nomadic tribes roam, or perhaps even further North into the Bleak Expanse.
The six of you have fallen in together as travelling companions. Monsters and bands of raiders roam the wilds and it’s dangerous for even an experienced fighter to walk the roads alone. Most of the trade caravans won’t hit the road until things warm up a bit more.
This road runs along the coast of the Valfish Bay and the waves wash over the stony shoreline. A large pine forest dominates the other side of the road. It is early spring and still cold, but here and there signs of life and new growth dot the landscape. You haven’t encountered much trouble, or many other travelers for that matter.
Here I’d like everyone to make a post just describing you character - what they look like and their attitude toward the rest of the group along with anything else they might have noticed about you in the week you have been travelling together.

Mok is average size for a goblin, standing just slightly over three feet tall, his green colored skin mostly covered by his dark colored clothing and the hood that he wears over his head. On his hips he wears two shortsword that appear to be of elven make, eachc carried in a dark colored sheath that matches his grey and black clothing. To finish it off her carries a longbow or what passes for one a creatue of his size and a quiver full of arrows that seem to have shafts made of mushroom stalks.
For the most part he has remained quiet and seems to be focused on some task, occasionally stopping to look at tracks. Most times he does this he shakes his head and mutters in elvish, this being the main language the strange goblin talks for some reason. While he does not talk often he will answer questions and speak if something seems important. He is very interested in elves though and will study them due to having grown up in a gonlin tribe led by an old half elf ranger. Overall he seems to be of good morality but not the friendliest of people when focused.

Valyra is a graceful-looking woman with fiery-red eyes and hair. She wears a white robe, thick and well-insulated--plenty suitable for travel through any bleak tundra. Dotting her neck and ears are a few small gemstones which are seemingly embedded into her skin. A crossbow sits at her side, and she occasionally glances down at it, as if expecting that she will soon need to use it.
Aphil is short for a Goliath, which is to say, she's still huge (a few inches over 7 feet). Her skin is pale, with dark crimson hair and red tribal tattoos all over her body. She carries with her a Greataxe and two Handaxes that are practically on display with the clothing she wears. While outdoors in the cold, she wears a large robe made of bear hide, and her clothing is otherwise comprised of different animal hides, bones, and leather.
Aphil, despite her intimidating appearance, is rather friendly. She doesn't go out of her way to get to know the others, but she doesn't shy away from friendly banter. When introducing herself, she tells each person that they may refer to her as "Apeslayer" if they so like, while showing off a fang on a necklace that appears to have come from an abnormally large great ape. While traveling, she would try to make time to hunt and catch small game to cook and eat. If approached while cooking, she would offer some of the food to others, claiming that it was better than any "rations" or "bread" others may have brought with them on the journey.
Aphil speaks common fluently and without issue, but her thick accent suggests that she does not use the language regularly.
While traveling, some may notice that Aphil carries with her a smaller 3rd Handaxe. If asked about it, she would avoid the conversation, say something like "it is a personal matter", or try to change the subject.
Minda walks alongside Aphil. The two may look alike at first glance, but only that. Minda carries a huge maul where Aphil has the greataxe. Her physique suits the much heavier blunt weapon, being much wider in the shoulders and arms. What seems like the skin of a bear is held tight around her shoulders by a length of rope.
Minda doesn't speak much, her accent as thick as Aphils, but markedly different. The tattoos don't match either between the two women.
Mike is a human of average size, his dark brown hair and beard is unwashed and unkept, wounds cover part of his face and his body, his green eyes are spotted with yellow lines in the iris and red lines in the sclera, as his compainions could hear during the night, his nights didn't give him much of a rest.
When he talks his deep voice can inspire some confidence.
He wears a dark blue cloak over his dark green shirt and brown pants, his boots are made of deer skin and have 2 daggers in it. His cape sometimes releases illusory flames and shadows, the cape is both a gift and a shackle from his patron, Gruulb the fiend. Over the cape he wears a backpack made of bear skin, a strange and short spear is placed at its bottom, this was a strange weapon he found in one of the raids with his previous group and learned to use better than many, this gave him the nickname "the short end" among them, he also carries a crossbow there.
He keeps away from most of the group, not wanting to attatch to anyone, as his previous raiding group had been all but slaughtered, him only surviving out of luck by killing the other tribe's champion with a stray bolt from his crossbow accidentaly fiered from his backand earning the fear of the 3 highly wounded enemies that remained, he can still hear their death screams.
(Your sixth member hasn't joined the game and... unfortunately they were supposed to be your cleric. I'm going to move the game forward just in case they are a no show. Since you all don't have a dedicated healer, each of you go ahead and add two regular healing potions to your inventory.)
It’s the 8th day of your journey. It’s close to noon and the sun is high and bright overhead. The weather has been clear today and you have been making good time.
Mok, Aphil and Valyra; you have the sharpest eyes and are the first to spot a figure on the road far in the distance. It’s hard to make out, but you think they are coming toward you.

Aphil, alarmed and slightly confused by Mok's behavior, tries to make out what or who the figure might be to determine rather she should to hail them with a greeting, or pull out her weapons (but makes no effort to hide herself).
Mike keeps to the road, not really noticing the figure, but starts wondering what is going on, not liking the comotion he readies his hand on the strange spear.
Most of you wait in plain view, waiting to see who approaches. Aphil you strain to see better but the glare from the sun is making it hard to tell what's coming. Mok ducks down into the tall grass and hides himself.
As the figure gets closer; you can all now see a human boy somewhere between ten and twelve years old. He's covered in mud and looks exhausted.

Mok slowly moves out of the tall grass, returning his arrow to it quiver even as he keep his bow in hand. Seeing that most of thosr with hin kept to the common tongue he slowly forms the words in his head before he speak. "Is it Mok or this is a not safe place for a child to be alone?" As he speaks he finds it strange that the human would be still considered a child since his own race were reaching adulthood by them.

The boy shakes his head no when you ask if he is alright. “My village… there were raiders in the night. Dozens of little dragon men… Trollkin too. One of them cut down my Pa.”The boy bites his lip hard, trying not to cry. “My Pa… he told me to run.”

Minda tells Aphil to find out what she can and the others that she will keep watch a bit up the road. And then does that, like a few hundred feet up ahead she will hide in the roadside and keep watch. She will also check back towards the group to see when they start moving again.
Mok steps forward as he listen to what the boy says, stowing his bow so he does not scare him. "Tell Mok more about the Dragon men." He watches the boy closely, foing his best not to appear scary to the more then likely terrified child.
