Mok you nock an arrow and let it fly at the raider. It whistles by his ear but doesn't hit. You duck behind some shubbery to try and get some cover.
That brings us to Aphil's turn. The raider is 30ft away in melee with Minda and the Kobolds are 60ft away.
I forgot this on Minda's turn, but right now it is dark and Goliaths do not have darkvison. Unless someone does something to brighten the place up, your attacks have disadvantage.

Aphil pulls out her Greataxe releases a battle cry as she gets enraged (Bonus Action rage). She will try to move in to flank the Raider Minda attacked if possible (in which case the disadvantage from the darkness will cancel out, but I'll roll 2 d20 in case this is not possible).
Attack: 1313
damage: 6
(reminder: Aphil's Totem Spirit is the Bear which means she has resistance to all damage except Psychic damage while raging)
Aphil you move to the Raider's other side and swing, slashing the Raider's arm with the blade of your ax.
That will bring us to Valyra's turn. There is an as of yet unidentified type of humanoid raider engaged in combat with your two Goliath companions 30ft away and three Kobolds who are currently 60ft away andd attacking at range.

Valyra can see just fine in the dark and prefers to keep her distance during a fight, so she stays right where she is and calls forth a ray of frost aimed at one of the kobolds.
10 Ranged spell attack
If hit, 8 cold damage and the target's speed is reduced by 10ft until the start of my next turn
Valyra you hurl a bolt of cold, hitting one of the kobolds. Frost explodes over the small creature and it keels over dead, the other two kobolds screeching in dismay.
That brings us back to Mike at the top of the round. The Raider is only 10ft away from you, but very preoccupied with the two raging Goliaths. The two remaining Kobolds are about 40ft away from you, trying to determine who the best target for their sling stones is.

Mike you back away from the fight and launch another blast that goes soaring past the raider without hitting.
Because she's the one that struck him, the raider will jab at Aphil with his spear.
Spear attack vs Aphil: 16
Aphil you see the attack coming and twist out of the way. Following the bigger raider's lead, the Kobolds will launch their sling attacks at Aphil as well. (They will have advantage on these attacks due to their Pack Tactics)
Kobold Sling attack 1: 12which will hit for 7 bludgeoning damage (which you are resistant to, also what is with these crits?)
Kobold Sling attack 2: 21the second stone goes sailing off into the bushes, completely missing. (Ah there's the balance)
That will bring us to Minda's turn. You are currently flanking the Raider with Aphil, which cancels out the disadvantage from fighting in the dark. The two remaining Kobolds are 30ft from you.
Not only do you recognize this creature, you know a lot about them. Your own tribe has had dealings with them in the past. This creature is one of the Trollkin, though any troll blood they have is many generations back. They are loyal to their own kind above any other race and most groups of Trollkin are lead by a Shaman.
They are tough and hardy fighters, very difficult to kill. They retain the regeneration trait of their troll ancestors and their wounds heal quickly... unless they are harmed by fire. Trollkin have a deep fear of fire.
That will bring us to Mok. All three foes are in easy range of your longbow.
(Ahhh that's too bad) Another arrow wizzes by and thuds into a tree trunk.
Aphril, we are back to you. You're still in melee with the Raider, flanking him with Minda. The Kobolds are 30ft away pelting you with rocks but their blows aren't hurting you much.

Yeah for his movement he will move away by about 20 ft and then using his goblin ablities Mok will try to hide even better in the bushes as a bonus actiom.
(I kind of forgot his movement with my disappointment with the roll....)

Mok you back up a bit more from the fight and conceal yourself in the underbrush. You can still see the Goliath's fighting with the raider well enough but the fog is starting to make it hard to see the Kobolds at this distance.
Aphil you swing your great axe and the blade slices the raider across the chest. He's starting to look pretty wounded. You rack your brain, but you don't recognize his species but you think he's a humanoid of some kind?
That will bring us to Valyra's turn. The raider is 30ft away from you engaged in combat with your Goliath allies. The Kobolds are 60ft away, but still in range of your spells.

Valyra trusts that her allies can take care of the larger foe, so she remains focused for now upon the kobolds. Again she casts ray of frost - this time twice. (Twinned Spell vs both remaining kobolds)
1st attack: 18 | 4 cold damage if hit (Ooh a crit. Can cantrips crit? Here's the extra damage just in case 3)
2nd attack: 11 | 6 cold damage if hit
(OOC: before I edited in the crit damage, the 2nd attack was a 16... I don't know why it changed it...)
( Yeah sometimes if you make an edit before a roll it will mess with the result. I'll take your word for it on the 16. And yup! Anything with an attack roll can crit!)
Valyra you extend your hand and two beams of blue light zip forward. Frost encases both Kobolds. They are not hardy creatures and their bodies crumple on the ground.
That brings us back to the top of the round. Mike you are currently 40ft away from the Raider, who seems to be assessing his situation and deciding what he's going to do next.

Minda continues the swing in an enormous arc, trying to come down on the Raiders shoulder from one side while Aphil attacks from the other.
Attack: 23 Damage: 13
And if possible then a Nature check to recognize what she hit: 22
Minda you strike hard, your weapon hitting home.
(Ooo that is a good roll)

Hunter's Mark: 2

Attack: 19 Damage 10
And I suppose Aphil will also see if she recognizes the creature... (assuming Minda hasn't said anything, which she may have)

I'll also step 30ft further
If i can ready action, if any of them try attacking us, on the one attacking:
Attack: 15 Damage: 6
(Oh interesting!)
Mike, the Raider will pause. He will hold his spear at the ready but will not attack. He will turn to the Kobold and bark, "Hold."
"Allow my companion and I to leave and we will deliver your message to our leaders."
He will back up 10ft. Aphil and Midna you can make attacks of opportunity if you would like, though it will undermine what Mike is trying to do.
The Kobold stands ready but does not attack.
Does anyone attack?
