Grum takes the makeshift lockpicking set and turns the interworkings until he shackle pops open. The runes starts to glow a bright red for a moment before fading out. Opening the chest, you find all the weapons and equipment that had been taken off of you.
Silva, while by the window, peers out while building the kindling. As Grum pops open the lock with an audible click, Glasstaff turns toward the Townmasters hall. Make a STEALTH check if you want to try to remain unseen.
While Pops looks around, he takes note of Glasstaff. He has now turned and is looking back toward the Townmaster's hall. Harbin is in his line of sight, but it is almost like Glasstaff is looking through him.
The gallows are set up on the east side of the square where dirt meets grass near the "Town Green" label.
Silva, seeing Glassstaff staff through the window, attempts to move out of sight. She grabs her gear from Grum and follows him towards the small window in the back of the building.

Seeing Glasstaff and his crossbowman distracted, and hoping Harbin's sympathies are mixed, Pops waits for the right moment, and bolts to the south, heading for cover behind the Lionshield Coster, and hoping to make a beeline for the Miner's Exchange. He only hopes that Petros will try to make a break for it also.

Pops recalls from their conversation yesterday with Halia at the Miner's Exchange that she was no friend of the Redbrands - in fact she had quietly offered us a bounty for Glasstaff's head. Pops hopes that: (1) he can make it there before he gets cut down; (2) that Halia and her folks will hide and protect him; (3) that she may have a lockpick and a blade he can borrow, and fast; (4) that Petros escaped; and (5) that those other folks got out of their cells. They seem like decent people. Maybe useful, also.
Grum and Silva collect their equipment from the chest. There are other belongings in there and you both assume the owners of that property will be hung soon. You rush out the window and neither are very quiet about it. You both land in a pile of crunchy leaves drawing much of that unwanted attention. Everyone looks over toward your direction, including Pops and Petros. Pops sees an opportunity to make a run for it and starts to run.

Grum sees the gallows with the 2 Redbrands, and Glasstaff and his other 3 Redbrands guarding Pops and Petros, all looking in his direction, and decides to make the most of being the distraction. Grum draws his bow and aims at one of the Redbrands with Glasstaff - the one closest to Pops - and fires.

Without waiting to see if the arrow hits its target, Grum dives out of sight around the back of the building.
Silva grabs her shortbow and quiver and points herself towards the gallows. She takes look at the Redbrand guards. If she sees a Redbrand is wielding ranged weapon pointed at Pops or Petros she'll take aim fire.
Petros will attempt to grapple the closest Redbrand, wrapping the chains of his manacles around the Redbrand's neck. Athletics: 21. Positioning himself behind the man he will attempt to use the man as cover and move away from Glasstaff and the other Redbrands.
Grum and Silva from a distance launch arrows toward the gallows in an attempt to strike a guard, but neither arrow finds a mark. One sticks into the leg of the gallows and twangs. Grum moves behind the building for cover.

Glassstaff see's the attacking parties from the Townmaster's building holds out a hand where an orange glow begins to grow. A fire bolt streaks across the square toward Silva.
If he has enough movement, Grum moves around the North side of the building, peering out around the opposite side to where he was last seen (i.e. just across the road from the Stonehill Inn). If he doesn't have enough movement, he'll just pop back out where he is. He sees Petros grappling Thug 2, and no sign of Pops, which Grum assumes can only be a good sign. Grum also sees Thug 1 and Archer 1 advancing on himself and Silva; and Glasstaff focusing his attention on them too. Hoping to keep drawing attention and buy time for Petros to extract himself from the situation, Grum draws his bow and aims at the wizard himself.
Despite trying to stay low, Silva is struck by Glasstaff's attack. She recovers, notches another arrow and fires at Archer 1. Attack: 13 Damage: 4
After firing she turns to Grum and speaks softly "Hopefully we can keep the wizard's attention until Pops and the Bard escape. Once they're in the clear I say we run for it - did you see which way Pops ran?"
