The mom looks at you and says "Oh thank Tyr that you came! My name is Linan. We have to get to the keep and quickly, these raiders, have yet to cut us off." She points towards the keep, It's seated on top of a hill in the center of Greenest. It is maybe 1000 ft away through the city streets. (Your are in the top right corner by the house with the walls.)
Dretch nods in agreement in heading to the Keep. He will stop to inspect the Kobold bodies for a) any items or insignias determine their allegiance and b) any items of interest they may have on them. Once he has finished inspecting the bodies he will follow the woman to the keep, keeping his other two rocks ready in case of another threat.
Perception: 9 (-2 if you would prefer investigation)
Zack would grunt, and get back up easily, keeping his sword readied. After-all, there were probably still other 'raiders' and there was definately still a dragon. Regardless, Zack stayed by the man, sword readying for another attack, so long as he can see it coming, and shouts to the others Lets get to that Keep then, Its probably safer than being out here in the open!
Once more shouting loud enough for his party to hear, including the family I say we take the most direct path.. head straight for the keep, zig-zigzagging through the houses, and walking around in the shade of the hill, till we get to the path leading to it's door. It will provide us cover, and we'll get there faster.. we may also run into more people in need of assistance!
Zack would wait till everyone else moved, seeing if everyone else thought his plan was good, or if they would decide to take a different path, regardless staying near the man and the children in-case of a surprise attack. He then shouted to the Aaracokra I know I'm not your boss, or anything, so you don't have to do what i say!! But since you can fly.. perhaps you could go to the keep and warn them ahead of us? Perhaps they'll send an escort or at-least do something more than they are! Just be wary of our Draconic friend!
After that, Zack's eyes swept across the children, then the companions from the Carriage, his eyes locking with Nadia's once more, brows furrowing as if there was supposed to be something there, yet he couldn't quite place it. He stared for a long moment before shakign his head, Gotta stay in the moment. Gotta make sure these people make it.
Kelvin approaches the terrified family tentatively. For a brief moment of debauchery, he played one of his infamous sales in his mind, but the terrified children and desperate mother quickly humbled his old habits. Instead, he went to the father and children, "It's alright, we've come to help." He gives a weak little smile as Lucky lands by his arm. The white owl quirks a head at the Wizard who only stood twice as tall as the bird, "This is Lucky," the owl pecks at his hand, "Ow! Lucy...she likes to be called Lucy..." He gives a sidelong glare at the bird who seemed to preen at the correction.

Nadia holsters her bow, her heart beating a million miles a minute as she looks upon the destruction of this poor town. It almost brought back a memory that had long since been repressed for years, her mind reeling as she attempted to put it back where it belonged. Focus, hija, focus, she would tell herself as she approached the rest of the group to help in figuring out what they were going to do now. She looks over in Zack's direction, her eyebrows furrowed in thought just before she returns her gaze to the others.
"I agree with Zack. We can use the houses for cover as we sneak around and get to the keep. We might even find other survivors to take along with us. We're all capable fighters, so this is child's play.." She gazes upwards to the sky. "We need to avoid the flying lizard as much as possible, the houses will help with that too."

As Dretch finds the Insignia, his eyes widen slightly but mostly as it is what he expected to find but was hoping he wouldn't. He thinks for some moments and then tells the group, "For reasons that I do not know, The Cult of the Dragon has wanted control of Greenest for decades. On one of the Kobolds, I found the Insignia for the Cult, which means they have finally decided to make a move."

Zack nodding agreement to the womans plan, but adding I'll help you guard the rear, two heads are better than one right? he said nodding, walking at an angle backwards to keep an eye on the corners instead of just straight behind them, sword readied just in case. It wouldn't be prudent to not be cautious.

Kleeak can spot a number of torches moving through the smoke, stopping at houses for a bit then continuing to move around. He can't see how many are in each party, because of the thick smoke.
As the party continues to move forward, Nadia pokes her head around the corner of a building, spotting a party of 4 kobolds and 2 humanoid figures dressed in robes that many of you recognize as the Cult of the Dragon. Confirming Dretch's statement. As she does this, she knocks over a board behind her. She sees the ears of the kobolds perk up and they drop the bags and bodies they were carrying. "Oii! Stupid little guys get back to work" You here a whip snap in the air and kobolds scurrying about. All of you are able to make it across the intersection with no issues. On the other side of the intersection you find 2 villagers frozen in Fear. Linan approaches them and says "Quick! we must make it to the Keep. Follow us! We will protect you."

1000 ft away! Are you serious! I’ll need someone for better conversation. I’m not in the best mood. He does fly upwards, but otherwise stays in place.

Dretch finds nothing of significance, except on one of them. You find a signet that is very familiar. It’s from the cult of Dragons.
